I don't expect South to win even the match against BG James, I chose him just for the fun of having a jobber getting into such a prestigous tournament. Any tournament for that matter. But if he wins imagine what that will do to the Las Vegas gambling scene. you never know with the dice, in my Major League Wrestling fed George South has wins over both the One Man Gang and Don Muraco. |

In case you're wondering, I was actually watching 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' last night, which gave me the idea for this little promo... Could be fun! |

"But Valentine, this tournament is about prestige. The Legends of this sport have come together to see who is the best. I plan on proving my place in the wrestling world and it starts with you.
"To that end Valentine, I propose we square off in a Finisher Match. To win the match, you have to beat me with the Figure Four Leglock. Can you make me say I quit? I don't think so. I am going to drop you on your head with the Hawaiian Hammer for the three count.
"This is how we're going to decide who is better. You or me."

The scene opens up to find Greg "The Hammer" Valentine's angry mug glaring at the camera.
"Magnificent Muraco. You say that this tournament is about prestige, not respect. Well, I promise you this: I respect what you've done leading up to this night. And Greg The Hammer doesn't respect a lot of men!
"So you want this to be about prestige and about seeing who's the best in the sport... so you challenge me to a Finisher Match... well, you asked for it... who am I to deny a man his dying wish?
"When all is said and done and I've snapped your leg in the middle of the ring and you submit to the greatest finisher in the game... I can't promise you that I'll still respect you."

My vote is a hardcore, ugly and brutal match with pinfalls and/or submissions. If they were gonna do a strap match, they should have called it a strap match! I want to see a bloody spectacle of a match. Just one man's two cents' worth. |
