I ordered the 80's Mania pack, and I'm really excited to get a fed going. So my questions are as follows: 1. Do you plan on running 8MWF as it's own fed, or incorporating it into something larger (like the GWF or other Champion's league)? 2. If it's an individual league, how do you plan on keeping it interesting with so few wrestlers to start? 3. And if you're going to incorporate it, then how do you plan on doing that? Just curious. I love reading (and....ahem....."borrowing") other people's ideas for my feds.

Just got the set... Thinking what I might do for the timebeing is have these guys Mane special guest appearances in my Broken Code fed... Primarily, I was interested in the new charts, which I can't wait to incorporate into my shows...
Like you, I'm interested to hear what others think... Great topic!

Yeah, the charts are excellent. (They remind me of the Hollywood Charts).
And I'm also thinking of incorporating the wrestlers into an existing fed.
I was thinking that it should be my GWF fed. (Maybe they discovered a broadcast from 80's Earth or maybe it's an 80's-themed pocket dimension.)
But either way, I'll likely premier one 8M match at the beginning of each GWF card until the 8M Fed is large enough to break away. And I'll probably keep the 8M guys segmented (for the most part). This should pace the 8M league development nicely, while helping to spice up the GWF cards for a few months. Good for both. (Plus, it will be fun if they do spill over into each for, maybe, one supercard!)
Anyways, I love this type of pack. It fits a lot of different places - and it's open for some really creative stories.

I'm thinking of putting 80's Mania and FTR together. I will have a few GWF guys as well. That's the only way I see it working for the time being.
Or, since the original GWF sets are from the 80's, maybe you could use early COTG guys with this set? I'm not sure yet.

Are the power levels for 80's Mania and FTR close? I know FTR is enhancement talent, but I haven't seen the 80's pack yet. I'm waiting for it in the mail (although I have read the charts).

In my opinion, the 80MW characters are too potent (for the most part) to be used with the FTR characters... I think they'd mix well with just about any COTG era, with guys ranging from lower mid to upper card talent.

That's what I assumed - although people may want the enhancement talent for the 80's stars. That's how it was. (King Kong Bundy vs. Dusty Wolfe)

I think the FTR guys would be great to use for enhancement. I plan to run my 80's Mania fed like the actual game runs, so only 8 wrestlers are needed per show until the PPV. I'll probably throw in some GWF guys for short tours and stuff.

I wonder how long before the next set will come?

I don't like crossover that much so I will run a separate 80s mania fed. Keep things like GWF, LOW and now 80s Mania very separate. At the moment I bought the pack out of curiosity but will wait until at least another pack gets released before attempting to start anything. Unfortunately 8 is too few to be working with.
