Midnight Run 1.16 – From the Asylum
Matt Striker sat looking at the wall with the brackets. “How did that?” he asked puzzled by something. He looked at his assistant. “Get Roderick Strong, BG James and Chuck Taylor in here.” He shook his head. “Well they’ll either work together tonight or I’ll dig into my bag of tricks.” He muttered.
Moose w/Stokley Hathaway vs. Daizee Haze (substitute) -Totally one sided beat down as Moose was insulted a woman was in the ring and after an Avalanche hit the Pounce and got a three count. (01:14) Winner: Moose via pin fall Fatigue: Haze: 1 – Moose: 0
Haze screamed at the Asylum which had been taunting her and said Moxley was back next week and this was the last they would see of her.
Drew Galloway w/Nigel McGuinness vs. Macho Man Randy Savage -Galloway showed a strong dislike for the Macho Man and after a near fall hit the DOUBLE ARM DDT and got the three count. (03:32) Winner: Drew Galloway via pin fall Fatigue: Galloway: 1 – Savage: 1
Savage rambled at the Asylum crowd about the traitorous bitch Layne and she would be put in her place soon.
Kevin Steen vs. Adam Cole -Cole found Steen came to fight and while they fought in and out of the ring Cole couldn’t seem to get Steen down as often as he wanted and it was a roll up out of the turnbuckle and the ropes that gave Cole the win. (15:04) Winner: Adam Cole via pin fall Fatigue: Steen: 3 – Cole: 4
Adam Cole taunted BG James and said whenever they had their fight he was going to beat him like the unwanted red-headed stepchild nobody wanted and ship his ass back to Connecticut where all the talent-less hacks worked because nobody wanted them.
El Generico vs. Zack Sabre Jr. -With a win under him seemed to breath new life into Generico as he kicked out and countered Sabre’s offense and hit a BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!! (+6) to get the three count. (11:18) Winner: El Generico via pin fall Fatigue: ZSJ: 4 – Generico: 5
The Asylum crowd chanted for Generico proud of his turn around. Tyler Black hit the ring and beat Generico down and hit a GOD’S LAST GIFT standing over the masked luchador “YOUR NOTHING! YOU BEAT ME WITH A FLUKE!” Black screamed and put the boots to Generico until the bounty hunters forced him to the back and helped Generico from the ring.
“Darewolf” PJ Black vs. Cedric Alexander w/Veda Scott -Shocking as Black with a Fujiwara armbar took Alexander down and then hit the 450 SPLASH getting the three count and Veda Scott had been arguing with a fan turned in shock. (00:10) Winner: PJ Black via pin fall Fatigue: N/A
Cedric and Veda were arguing as they headed to the back. Matt Striker came to the ring and announced that since Chuck Taylor and Roderick Strong had already faced off they would team up tonight to take on an invited duo of Anthony Nese and Timothy Thatcher.
Chuck Taylor & Roderick Strong w/BG James vs. Anthony Nese & Timothy Thatcher -While Thatcher & Nese showed surprisingly good teamwork, Taylor & Strong listening to James took control and Strong with a SICK KICK took out Thatcher to get the three count. (10:00) Winners: Roderick Strong & Chuck Taylor via pin fall Fatigue: Strong: 1 – Taylor: 2 – Nese: 2 – Thatcher: 3
Jay Lethal w/Truth Martini vs. Johnny Gargano w/BG James -Gargano took control and kept it and after a few moves and a deadly clothesline off the ropes locked on the GARGANO ESCAPE as James kept Martini away from the ring. (04:43) Winner: Johnny Gagano via submission Fatigue: Gargano: 1 – Lethal: 2
MAIN EVENT Tyler Black vs. Michael Elgin -Black was trying to put his loss to Generico behind him and gave everything he had. He came close to beating the Unbreakable several times. Elgin with a explosive return hit a Buckle Bomb and a lariat getting the three count. (24:40) Winner: Michael Elgin via pin fall Fatigue: Elgin: 6 – Black: 8
The Asylum cheered how great the match was and applauded both men. Black was stopped in the aisle by the appearance of Generico holding a bat. The luchador didn’t move and it was a standoff as the Asylum cheered loudly.
**
Matt Striker was on the phone as he watched the monitor. “Yes sir. Moxley should be back next week.” He listened. “After what Layne did to Savage…yes sir. That other matter could take time, perhaps next season?” Striker suggested. “Keep the division small, I’d say eight to twelve max.” Striker listened. “Yes sir. Next week is the final round of the tag team tournament, I’ll have your private room ready.” Striker hung up and sighed. “That man is going to drive me to drink or an ulcer.”

Elgin continues to dominate the competition and it's looking more and more unlikely that anyone can stop him...
Awesome that El Generico put another one in the win column... Lots left to be settled between him and Tyler Black...
Can't wait to see Moxley back on action... And maybe we'll learn why he chose Daizee Haze as his substitute...
Left wondering who is the man behind the curtain - the one that Matt Striker answers to... Will we find out next week?
Another rockin' show, my friend... Keep 'em coming!

Elgin is like a super beast. more and more it looks like he should just be handed the belt. LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA! finally Generico turns it around. was worried he was going to be leaving Outlaw but this surge has saved him. Yeah he and Black are going to meet up. Tyler cannot stand losing like he did. Moxley another one off his nut....and his reasons.....meep! meep! the mysterious big boss is going to remain a mystery at least for nearly the rest of the season. should have the next show up late tonight or tomorrow.

Midnight Run 1.17 – From the Asylum
The crowd was nearly rioting as the show started as they were excited. Matt Striker was at ringside as the matches started.
Kings of Wrestling w/Sara Del Rey vs. Irish Airborne -Claudio caught Jake coming off the top rope and hit a RICOLA BOMB to get the three count in a short match up. (02:15) Winners: Kings of Wrestling via pin fall Fatigue: N/A
House of Truth w/Truth Martini vs. Domi-Nation With the losing streak over Dijak and Daddego wanted another win but Nation and Davis hit a double team sky scraper German suplex on Daddiego and got the three count. (10:32) Truth Martini walked away in disgust. Winners: Domi-Nation via pin fall Fatigue: Nation: 2 – Davis: 1 – Dijak: 2 – Daddiego: 3
War Machine vs. American Wolves -The Wolves just couldn’t get offense going as Hanson and Rowe kept taking control back before anything could be built and it was a WAR MACHINE on Edwards and a three count followed. (05:23) Winners: War Machine via pin fall Fatigue: Hanson: 0 – Rowe: 0 – Edwards: 2 – Richards: 2
MAIN EVENT Briscoe Brothers vs. ReDRagon -Fans watched a war going back and forth as Fish and Mark exchanged blows and control for several minutes neither going near a cover or down. Fans were shocked when O’Reilly off a blind tag caught Mark Briscoe with a sunset flip off the top rope getting the three count. (17:30) Winners: ReDRagon via pin fall Fatigue: Fish: 4 – O’Reilly: 6 – Jay: 2 – Mark: 5
Matt Striker and the Asylum crowd were shocked and Striker was going over his notes before entering the ring.
“We have a three way tie!” Striker announced and said the three teams would meet in a three way round robin series. “The final teams are the American Wolves, Domi-Nation and the Briscoe Brothers!” the Asylum crowd was going nuts.
**
FINAL STANDINGS 1. (3 way tie) Briscoe’s (5-2), American Wolves (5-2), Domi-Nation (5-2) 2. Kings of Wrestling (4-3) 3. (tie) Irish Airborne (3-4), ReDRagon (3-4) 4. War Machine (2-5) 5. House of Truth (1-6)
**
Truth Martini paced. “The two of you had one task and you failed miserably!” he ranted at Dijak and Daddiego. “I raised you muscle heads up and you spit in my face and make me a laughing stock. One win! One win! You two are useless!” Dijak steps in front of Martini. “How about some guidance instead of just taking 20% of the purse? Or coming up with a strategy? You’re the failure here.” Truth slapped Dijak who grabbed him around the throat. Daddiego attacked Dijak and the two started brawling slamming into lockers. Martini fled as bounty hunters filled the locker room to separate the fracturing team.

Haha! ReDRagon and War Machine play the spoilers, causing a three-way tie in the tag team division... Can't wait to see how this gets resolved! So much for Dem Boyz walking out with the belts. a 3-way round robin final. if they draw again then its a last team standing option. ReDRagon and War Machine just had to get going on the last frickin' round! and Domi-Nation in there and makes me wonder how big of a mess this will be by the time the season finale rolls around. thanks for reading, next show should be tonight or tomorrow, got a free day to play

Midnight Run 1.18 – From the Asylum
Matt Striker was in the ring and said for the past couple of weeks he’d been speaking with Angelus Layne concerning her actions against Randy Savage after his match with Andy Dalton. “The contract position must be cursed or each person there must be insane.” Striker said as he said Randy Savage was doing double duty tonight as he had his scheduled tournament match and he had a match against Angelus Layne who wanted the spot for herself. “But Ms. Layne this will be an Outlaw Star Match.” Striker warned and the Asylum decibel level raised with the cheers at the promise of violence later.
Moose w/Stokley Hathaway vs. El Generico -Moose just overpowered Generico’s offense and caught the luchador coming off the top rope and after a brutal spinebuster hit the SPEAR getting the three count. (04:18) Winner: Moose via pin fall Fatigue: N/A
“Darewolf” PJ Black vs. Adam Cole -Short and while Black nearly got a win after Cole missed a knee drop he recovered and hit the FLORIDA KEY stunning Black and getting the three count. (03:07) Winner: Adam Cole via pin fall Fatigue: Cole: 1 – Black: 1
Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Cedric Alexander w/Veda Scott -Savage was moments away from victory when Layne arrived after he hit the FLYING ELBOW DROP and was on the apron arguing with the Macho Man when Cedric recovered and hit the LUMBAR CHECK getting the three count. (07:39) Winner: Cedric Alexander via pin fall Fatigue: Savage: 1 – Alexander: 1
Angelus Layne with the microphone said she was going to neuter the so called Macho Man. She was done promoting men who failed to last the distance and seemed to have performance issues. She would see Savage later tonight.
Jon Moxley (return) vs. Tyler Black -the opening minutes the two men were taunting one another then a slap from Black kicked off a powder keg. It was a war and there were several close falls. A superplex got Moxley the win. (21:09) Winner: Jon Moxley via pin fall Fatigue: Black: 4 – Moxley: 5
Moxley addressed the crowd and his choice of Daizee Haze. “I picked her after seeing her kick some guys ass. Some creepy guy Dennis or Maurice? Whatever his name is was lurking backstage and tried to off me a boy or something.” Moxley rambled “But I’m back and I ain’t finished yet.”
Roderick Strong vs. Johnny Gargano w/BG James -The fight went back and forth and fans cheered on both men. Gargano caught Strong off the top rope and a GARGANO ESCAPE ties up the win. (19:43) Winner: Johnny Gargano via submission Fatigue: Strong: 4 – Gargano: 3
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Kevin Steen -ZSJ while quick was caught and abused by Steen and a sleeperhold suplex stunned him for a three count. (02:32) Winner: Kevin Steen via pin fall Fatigue: N/A
The bounty hunters filled the waiting area and Matt Striker took a seat at ringside as Angelus Layne entered the ring. Savage came out and pumped up the crowd in his usual fashion.
OUTLAW STAR MATCH CONTRACT SPOT Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Angelus Layne -Layne took control and each tried for a quick knockdown but both got up easily. Layne tossed Savage out of the ring and the buzzer sounded as the first Hunter was released and attacked Savage and hit a Deadlift German Suplex. The Hunter kept abusing Savage ignoring Layne who watched as the Hunter tossed Savage out of the ring and another Hunter was released and the two double teamed the Macho Man hitting a double flapjack. Layne realized that the count couldn’t happen until the Hunters were tossed out of the ring or pinned and hit the first one with a low blow and tossed him out of the ring. The second hunter was hit with the Bing Bang. A bit of a struggle and Layne was tossed from the ring and another hunter joined the fray but Layne took control of him after a reversal and hit a Bing Bang then covered him for a three count eliminating a hunter. Meanwhile Savage was still being choked out by the other hunter and tossed out of the ring and released a new hunter. The two hunters double teamed Savage but the Macho Man broke thru and tossed one of the hunters out of the ring then tried to pin the other but he kicked out with ease. A vertical drop brainbuster. Layne hit the Memory Lane on the hunter then the VICTORY LANE before covering the hunter and eliminating him with a three count. Layne wasted no time and hit the VICTORY LANE on Savage and leaned against the corner as the referee counted the ten. (28:43) Winner: New Outlaw: Angelus Layne via last person standing Fatigue: Savage: 8 – Layne: 8
Matt Striker announced that Angelus Layne now had Randy Savage’s place on the Outlaw roster and his 2-9 win loss record. Layne took the microphone “That place is now vacant, I’ll name who fills it next week. And Striker, remember our deal.” Layne walked away and the Asylum was abuzz with questions. The Bounty Hunters filed out of the arena carrying Randy Savage with them as he was now unemployed.
MAIN EVENT Michael Elgin vs. Chuck Taylor w/BG James -Elgin was dominating Taylor but a reversal saw Taylor hit a AWFUL WAFFLE but Elgin kicked out at one. A lariat nearly took Taylor’s head off and a near fall. Taylor made several comebacks but Elgin for most of the time treated him like a rag doll and finally hit an ELGIN BOMB getting a three count. (17:03) Winner: Michael Elgin via pin fall Fatigue: Elgin: 1 – Taylor: 6
**
Angelus Layne stood with her back against a wall. “You have my money?” A hand came around the corner with a very thick envelope. Layne took it. “Pleasure doing business with you.” She walked away. Dark Menace came around the corner and smirked. “The pleasure will be mine.” Layne was met leaving the arena by Andy Dalton removing a bounty hunter mask and throwing it in the trash. “What did you do to the hunter?” Layne asked. “He’s sleeping off being hit with a wrench. I was surprised who was under the mask and hood.” Dalton admitted. “So did you get paid?” Layne held up the envelope. “I hear Japan is nice this time of year.”
**
Striker entered the office of the owner. “Sir?” “I am disappointed Matthew.” The voice from the chair that was facing the wall of monitors said. “I’m sorry sir.” Striker said. “I do not like that Ms. Layne has an open contract spot. No telling who that allows into my Asylum.” “We’ll know next week. But she is under contract for next season. I have eleven others I need to speak with.” Striker said. There was silence. Striker coughed “Next week we have the first of the series for the tag title finals. Domi-Nation against the American Wolves in the main event.” “I am aware. Make sure there are no interruptions.” “Yes sir.” Striker said nervously. “And Matthew, send Mr. Savage a ticket to wherever he wants to go and thank him for his services.” The owner said. Striker started to leave “And a bill to Mr. Black for the damage he did to the locker room. We are not letting temper tantrums go unpunished.” Striker left the room while the monitors showed replays of the matches. “Definitely an ulcer.” Striker muttered.

Huge statement by Moxley, rebounding from his injury to defeat the very capable Tyler Black...
The main event snapped the chain and I was blown away by Layne's choice to throw her alt on the roster back in the face of the owners... Wow! That little meeting with the Menace has people wondering, no doubt... Can't wait to see where the road leads...
With 'Unbreakable' Elgin rolling over another opponent, I no longer think it's a matter of WHO will claim the top prize in The Asylum... But, HOW LONG will it take for someone to figure out how to beat him?
Awesome work, my friend... The Outlaws continue to serve up top notch entertainment... Every time!
