I got to go to a comedy show tonight that, in addition to Mick Foley and Nathan Orton (Randy's younger brother- he was hilarious- "Randy is the Viper and I'm the milk snake,") included Bob Levy. The Baltimore Sun reports that ECW Original Axl Rotten, 44, died of an accidental overdose, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
A police report said Rotten was found unconscious and not breathing on the bathroom floor of a McDonald's restaurant in the Linthicum neighborhood. Rotten was found on the floor of a stall, and he had pulled down the infant changing table and placed drug paraphernalia on it. A broken burnt tablespoon with "crystalline residue" was found. They also found an unlabeled pill bottle with capsules of a "brownish substance," believed to be heroin, on top of a paper towel dispenser.
Rotten was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:09pm that day, Thursday, February 4th. They do not know how long he was in the bathroom before he was found.
