The New GWF
Year 2087: Card #6
Massif VS Comrade Terror
Comrade Terror wins by Pinfall at 1:38
Fatigue Count: Massif 1 Comrade Terror 0
The fans were shocked by how quickly this match ended. Massif tried to clothesline Comrade Terror in the turnbuckle. Comrade Terror ducked and rolled up Massif. The big man kicked out, but then walked right into an Atomic Warhead to give Comrade Terror the win.
Backstage in the Workout Room: Star Warrior: "Are you sure you know what you are doing? Death Knight isn't playing around." Omega: "Neither am I son. He started this, and I will finish it. I am no stranger to the Cosmic Cage, and I will teach Death Knight that lesion tonight!" A small look of concern passes on Star Warrior's face, but it quickly disappears as Omega starts to warm up.
Vanity & Killer Queen VS The Gladiators
Vanity & Killer Queen win by DQ at 2:25
Fatigue Count: Vanity 1 Killer Queen 0 Massacre 0 Brute 0
This was another short match, that was just a beatdown on Vanity. The Gladiators isolated Vanity, and Killer Queen only got into the match when he saved Vanity after Massacre hit the Decapitator on him. Just as it looked like The Gladiators were going to put away Vanity, Renegade ran out and started to pummel Vanity. The referee called for the bell, as security was needed to get Renegade off Vanity.
Exo-King VS Wolf
Wolf wins by Submission at 15:28
Fatigue Count: Exo-King 2 Wolf 3
This match ended up surprising the fans as a great match. Both competitors weather the offensive storm of the other, and neither seemed able to put the other man away. Liberties were taken by both men, and the referee let it all go. The match took place mostly outside the ring, as both men just punished each other. In the end, Wolf was able to lock on the Savage Face Claw. With exhaustion setting in, Exo-King had nothing left and wisely tapped out. Afterwards, Executioner came out and attacked Wolf. He got some assistance from Exo-King, as they double teamed Wolf, and sent him through the announcer's table. Satisfied with what they had done, Exo-King and Executioner left to the back to the huge heat from the fans. As a result, Wolf is injured for two cards.
Backstage Promo: Looking irate, Vanity had this to say. "Renegade!!! I see you are nothing but a low life coward!! Attacking me during a match, how pathetic!! But I got your message! So next week prepare yourself, as you and I are going fight!! I will prove to you once again, that I am great and you are just trash!!" With that, Vanity storms off.
Cosmic Cage Match: Omega VS Death Knight
Death Knight Escapes the Cosmic Cage at 8:38
Fatigue Count: Omega 3 Death Knight 1
Both men knew the severity of this match. The loser will be the first eliminated from the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Mostly though, these two men had a score to settle. Death Knight trying to make a name for himself, and Omega showing he is still a serious contender in the ring. These two men tore into each other as soon as the bell rang. Fierce blows, hard slams, and sheer determination were on display in this match. Neither man was giving in. Several times it looked like Death Knight had the victory, But the battle hardened Omega wouldn't stay down. The defining moment of the match, was when Omega superplexed Death Knight from the top of the Cosmic Cage to keep the match going. Shortly after, it looked over as Omega hit Death Knight with the Tomahawk Thrust, but Death Knight was able to recover and hit Omega with a vicious Cosmic Lance to the back of the head. That allowed Death Knight to climb out of the Cosmic Cage for the hard fought victory.
