The Reckoning

06.16.2119 from Mount Skull, Primus

- What We See -

Due to the eruption of Mt. Ragnarok the base of the volcano was not safe to host the card. Wielding his power Paganax ordered his followers to carry the ring from Ragnarok to high upon Mt. Skull! The place looks to be a city of some sorts home to some primitives. The Roc, Ravagers, and Crusade members are housed in three different cave dwellings relatively close to ringside. Two brave members of Scorch's explorer team are doing the camera work, one hard, one at ringside with drones taking care of the rest. No fans other than Jakylls and Krypts are here.



Grovel vs. Nemean

Grovel defeated Nemean with fallaway slam at 9:00

Match Rating: 2.75

Match Notes: Grovel used the home field advantage to gain a win. This got the clans in attention riled up as they chanted something unintelligible. The only word understood was Paganax.

- Three's a crowd -

Drones catch the Ravager team in their cave as Mass Destruction go over strategy and hype each other up. Flatliner walks by shaking his head and smirking. "Good thing you have another partner, right Warfare? Nothing like getting a mulligan." After that little jab Flatliner sauntered to the ring.



Flatliner vs. Rouser

Flatliner defeated Rouser with SHOCK AND AWE at 9:15

Match Rating: 2.75

Match Notes: Flatliner's mood didn't change after securing the win. Rouser's "TRAITOR" sign must have struck a nerve because Flatliner nearly decapitated the scruffy ROC member swinging the sign violently at his head. To add insult to injury Flatliner spit on Rouser as he left.



Lance At-Las vs. Noxious

Noxious defeated Lance At-Las with OUTBREAK at 5:16

Match Rating: 2.50

Match Notes: Noxious pulls off another victory over his former friend. Although Lance won't admit it, his heart is just not fully in this fight. This may cost him dearly in the long run.



Holy Crusaders vs. The Specialists

Scorch defeated Murdok with TRAILBLAZER at 7:47

Match Rating: 3.00

Match Notes: Although they were defeated in both their singles matches, The Specialists prove they are just that in tag situations. Next for The Specialists is a shot at the Tag Titles. If Mass Destruction retain you can bet there will be stipulations added to the match.

- Head Games -

Gen. Rankor brings out the boulder he threw at Nicodemus in the Lava Pit. Roughly the size of a head, Rankor has painted the face of the Ravager Ancient on the side. Rankor drops the boulder in the ring, puts his foot on it (doing "The Captain" pose), and laughs manically.



Nicodemus vs. General Rankor

General Rankor defeated Nicodemus with GUILTY OF TREASON at 8:50

Match Rating: 3.25

Match Notes: Nicodemus was in complete control of the match, dominating the treacherous one. Everything changed when Rankor blasted the Ancient with his boulder knocking him cold! Rankor threw the limp Ravager in the ring where he passed out in GOT.



- aCe Tag Team Championship -
Mass Destruction vs. Darkness Falls

Jakyll defeated Warfare with RED DAWN at 12:51

Match Rating: 3.50

Match Notes: In a complete shocker Darkness Falls win the aCe Tag Team titles! Mass Destruction had dominated the match but just like the previous bout one move changed everything. Volcanoes erupted and the ground rumbled as Primus took complete control of the essence!





- aCe Championship -
Paganax vs. Aegis

Aegis defeated Paganax with RAMPART'S REVENGE at 12:02

Match Rating: 3.50

Match Notes: Brutal hard-hitting strong style match. Aegis gave as good as he got and in the end came away with the aCe Heavyweight title! The primitives were livid at the events and started to throw debris at Aegis, eventually charging the ring. A spotlight was shone on the ring from above with a rope ladder falling from an Space Craft. Aegis grabbed the ladder and was pulled out holding his newly won title high just as the clans hit the ring with Paganax screaming in anger.



Overall Card Rating: 3.04

Awesome action from start to finish... But, nothing beats Aegis claiming the top prize from Paganax on the Heathen Chief's home turf... Holy snap!

At-Las suffered another disappointing defeat... He needs to come up with some kind of gameplan because Noxious isn't going away... Things will probably get a whole lot worse...

Big victory for Darkness Falls... Not expecting them to successfully retain against the Specialists, however...

- A Modest Proposal -

After Aegis won the aCe Heavyweight Title at The Reckoning the people of Centra Prime have been breathing a little easier. That didn't last long as Aegis shocked the dimension. "Next month we do battle on the planet of the dead. Now usually the aCe committee chooses the next number one contender off of rankings and other means. I'm bypassing that and issuing a challenge to Murdok! In front of your undead army with home planet advantage I'm giving you a shot at the aCe Heavyweight title! I do this because if I win, I take my wife back, no ifs, ands or buts. It's Title vs Trisis! What do you say Murdok?" When news got back to Murdok it didn't take long for his reply.

"See you at Holy War."

- What We See -

Exact same set up that we had for Dawn of the Dead. The only difference this time around is the number of fans that made the trek from Centra. Although almost no one agrees with Aegis' challenge (including teammates) everyone knows the importance of this fight. For DotD maybe about 25% of those in attendance were from Centra with the rest from Antilia. This time around we have a 60/40 split in favor of Undead.



Paganax vs. Nemean


Paganax defeated Nemean with PAGAN VOID at 1:24
Match Rating: 0.10

Match Notes: It took the former champion only two moves to defeat Nemean. After the bout a clearly upset Paganax stalked the ring daring anyone (even fans!) to get in the ring with him. Paganax made a title motion around his waist before leaving.


The S.W.A.T. Team vs. Resurrection


Corporal Tek defeated Warfare with CORPORAL PUNISHMENT at 8:00
Match Rating: 3.00

Match Notes: After The Reckoning a meeting was held between Nicodemus and Mass Destruction. It was decided that they would not pursue a rematch for the tag titles any time soon. The Ravagers needed more single star power and Flatliner's attitude was becoming questionable. To quell any problems SWAT would once again be the main team and Ventross would go back to singles. Things didn't work out too well as SWAT couldn't get on the same page and Resurrection win only their second match this year. Flatliner was clearly annoyed at the result.


- Ruins of Antilia -
Nicodemus vs. General Rankor


Nicodemus defeated General Rankor with an aCe crusher at 7:09
Match Rating: 3.00

Match Notes: Nicodemus hit the aCe crusher right on the boulder that Rankor carried around with him. This put an exclamation point on what Nicodemus considered the end of this feud.


Ventross vs. Godsend

Godsend defeated Ventross with THE REALM ETERNAL at 15:49
Match Rating: 3.75

Match Notes: The Ravager plan bore no fruit at Holy War.Both Ventross and SWAT come up short in their respective matches.Godsend positions himself nicely for another shot at the title he once called his.

- Done Running. -

"Have I told you how bad of an idea I think this is?" asked Lance At-Las to his friend and partner Aegis. "Only about a 100 times. Look the last time we were on this planet you asked me what am I doing about my wife. Well this is it. It's a long shot but it's all I got." Lance gave him a look like he disagreed but understood. "Good luck, old friend. I hope to see Trisis on the transport back to Centra tonight!" With that Lance At-Las headed to the ring.


- Ruins of Antilia -
Lance At-Las vs. Noxious


Lance At-Las defeated Noxious with a Cinder block to the head at 16:14
Match Rating: 4.00

Match Notes: In what could only be described as an all out war, Lance At-Las and Noxious tore the ruins down! Noxious bloodied Lance with cinder blocks,threw him off a platform, and toppled a wall on top of him! At-Las was no angel as he took Noxious to a muddy bank of a creek and nearly drowned him (had he been alive) A couple of bricks to the head knocked Noxious out long enough to get the win.
As Lance limped back to the ring to raise his hand in victory he was blindsided by a clothesline to the back of the head. Everyone was shocked as PainMaster stood over him! He then lifted At-las up for a suplex but dropped him into a double knee backbreaker sending blood flying from Lance's mouth. To add insult to injury he choked him with his whip while driving his knee into the back of At-Las for leverage. Aegis and The Specialists ran PainMaster off then attended to At-Las who was taken out on a stretcher.

- aCe Tag Team Championship -
Darkness Falls vs. The Specialists

Scorch defeated Krypt with TRAILBLAZER at 7:03
Match Rating: 3.00

Match Notes: Scorch KO-ed Krypt with THE TRAILBLAZER right to the jaw. Jakyll tried to make the save but was hit with a frankensteiner for his troubles. The Specialists bumped belts but didn't celebrate as they rushed back to check on the condition of Lance At-Las.


- aCe championship-Title vs. Trisis -
Aegis vs. Murdok

Murdok defeated Aegis with a POWER OF THE PLAGUE at 3:50
Match Rating: 1.75

Match Notes: The nightmare of many came true as Murdok captures the aCe title. Maybe the condition of his friend and teammate distracted him or the weight of everything was too much but Aegis comes up short. Trisis grabs the title and hands it to the Harvester as the sky grows darker.



Overall Card Rating: 2.66

Aegis gambled big time... And lost... Now the Harvester holds the upper hand in a major way...

Very cool that the Specialists claimed the tag belts... And At-Las vs Noxious was an absolutely brutal affair - well worth the price of admission... PainMaster's arrival has to come as a shock... Interested to see where he fits into the grand scheme of things...

The Mothership

- Injury Report -

Lance At-Las suffered bruised ribs, a punctured lung and a concussion in his match with Noxious and the post match attack from PainMaster. Lance will miss the Mothership cards but should return at the Centra cards. Aegis has been by Lance's side since Holy War and will miss this card but will return for Sound the Alarm.

- What We See -

The Ravager fan base were not as warm and welcoming as they were for 4th Corner. With the attempted capture of Rankor, The RoC denouncing the action, and retaliation from Primus, things were tenser then ever. The combat rooms were empty: Murdok refused to send troops to a closed-in room susceptible to attack, the RoC is in the middle of a cold war with the Ravagers (The Ravagers went on record several times criticizing Aegis's decision to challenge Murdok for personal gain) and Grovel got lost on his way. Fans still pop for big moves, they just don't cheer anyone outside of their team.

- Return of Pain. -

PainMaster walks to the ring to a chorus or boos from the crowd. So many questions surrounded his return, most importantly how he got back. Questions would not be answered, only statements made.
"I'm here tonight to announce I'm joining aCe! Not only am I joining aCe, I'm joining as a free agent! I care not who wins this war, just who will pay me the most! I offer my services to the highest bidder, be it Ravager, Crusade, Primus or RoC! Matter of fact they could actually use some help right now!"
    This was the final straw for Rouser who had heard enough. Interrupting PainMaster he held a LONG LIVE LANCE sign high. Yelling into his mic "This is for At-Las!!!" he charged the ring looking for revenge.

PainMaster defeated Rouser with FACE-FIRST CRASH at 3:02
Match Rating: 1.25

Match Notes: PainMaster grabbed a mic after the match. "The price for my services has just gone up!"



Scorch vs. Noxious

Scorch defeated Noxious with TRAILBLAZER at 4:38
Match Rating: 0.10

Match Notes: The bell had rung and Scorch had won but he wasn't finished. He quickly hopped on top of Noxious and continually pounded him in the face. With each shot the anger in Scorch grew and the shots grew harder. Security finally tore him off a limp and unconscious Noxious.

- Safe Passage -

Before walking through the curtain for his match with Shepard, Ventross challenges his former partner Rankor on the next card. "I assure you no one will try to arrest or capture you on the Mothership. Just me and you, one on one. What do you say?"

Shepard defeated Ventross with a Silver Bullet at 14:10
Match Rating: 3.75

Match Notes: A very stiff match that started out professional but seemed to get personal as it went on. Shepard came away with the tough win. As Ventross got to his feet, Rankor broke into the Holotron feed cracking up. "HAHAHA! If that's the best The Mothership has to offer, I'll be there!"

- Roles Reversed -

Godsend is in his locker room prepping for his match when new aCe champion Murdok walks in with Trisis in tow. Godsend starts a half sincere clap.
"There he is! How ya doin champ?"
Murdok was unfazed. "Number one contenders match tonight. If you win, I will let you bow before me at the next card.  Lie down and prove your loyalty!"


Murdok vs. Nemean


Murdok defeated Nemean with a Head Spear Takedown at 7:28
Match Rating: 3.00

Match Notes: Nemean challenged the aCe champion to a non-title match in front of his hometown crowd to get in the spotlight. He held his own longer than anyone expected but was put down with a head spear.


- Number One Contender -
The S.W.A.T. Team vs. Resurrection vs. Darkness Falls


Corporal Tek defeated Jakyll with a Tek Turnbuckle Ram at 16:10
Match Rating: 3.75

Match Notes: Bodies were everywhere in this demolition derby of a match. Many near falls as each team desperately wanted the next chance at the aCe tag titles. SWAT looked like they were on the way to winning when Tek saw his chance and took it. After THE BIG PAYBACK, Tek threw Warfare out of the ring and hit the Tek Turnbuckle Ram for the win.


- Number One Contender -
Nicodemus vs. Paganax vs. Godsend


Godsend defeated Nicodemus with THE REALM ETERNAL at 20:23
Match Rating: 4.25

Match Notes: An instant classic! The end saw Paganax hit PAGAN VOID on Godsend with Nicodemus breaking the count by hitting Paganax with NUCLEAR WINTER. Godsend broke that up with THE REALM ETERNAL which gave him the win. Murdok walked out on the ramp clapping the same half sincere clap that Godsend gave him earlier, smiling a death's grin.

Shepard and Ventross both fought hard with the Vagabond Priest coming out on top... And Nemean showed a lot of heart against the aCe Champion...

Godsend vs Murdok for the top prize... This will be a match worth waiting for... Can the REALM ETERNAL overcome the POWER OF THE PLAGUE?
