Episode #30 - Season 2

(At the ringside announce table sits Todd Grisham and the great and devious Ultramantis Black)

(MW Jergs walks to the ring annoyed with a mic in his hand. Fans are chanting "DELETE!"

MWJ: I'm just so pleased that all of you out there in the audience are enjoying yourself. I mean we do this all for the fans, right? But if you could calm yourselves for just a moment so I can clue you into a few facts. First of all if you haven't noticed I am not happy and it's because my greatest fears have been proven true. You see I knew that when the hottest act in all of pro wrestling came calling here in Charm City I would have been a fool to turn them away. But I also knew of what they were planning - to take my tag team belts back to Cameron and hold them hostage. Now I tried to place several obstacles in their path and I made a deal or two that I'm not proud of. However, in the end none of that mattered. Because the Broken Hardys did win the tag titles and they did take them back to their compound in North Carolina and most likely have melted them down by now. I'm not really sure because the only response I could get from these guys from from Matt Hardy's Twitter. He called me a mundane mule! What in the hell does that even mean!?!

And of course all of you watched Wrestle-Mania. I'm sure that the Hardys will be nowhere near the Pit anytime soon. So it is safe to say that the Charm City Tag Team Titles are vacant. But I am unsure as to when and if these belts can be filled because our budget is a bit tight at this time. Not that any of you care.

So I have a few final words on tonight's show before I seclude myself in my office. Tonight I'd like to announce a few matches for this evening. In six man competition - The Elite comprised of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega will take on The Forever Hooligans and Sami Callihan. In a Falls Count Anywhere battle - Adam Cole will square off against Chris Hero and lastly there will be a Charm City Heavyweight Title match as Cedric Alexander will defends against Dalton Castle. Now if you will all excuse me I'm out for the evening.

1) Madison Eagles pinned Christina Von Eerie with HELL BOUND @ 4:25.
-Eagles controlled most of the match and finished the bout off with a DVD to the knee that knocked her opponent cold. Eagles then took the mic and issued a challenge to Veda Scott for a re-match anytime. There was no reply.

Interview (Jeremy Borash is with Stokley Hathaway)
JB: Hello Stokley I had hoped to get a few comments from Cedric Alexander on tonight's Main Event against Dalton Castle.
SH: Never you mind. I can fully represent Mr. Alexander and I can simply say that we are not concerned in the slightest.
JB: I see. Is he even in the building? I don't believe that I seen Cedric in almost two weeks. Is that they way a fighting champion behaves?
SH: Well, JB as you know Mr. Alexander does not have an exclusive contract with Charm City therefore he is around the world making believers of every fan who is blessed to witness his prodigious talent. I handle his affairs and he will be present to knock some sense into that strutting peacock Dalton Castle. I'm well aware of their history and how the mistreatment of my client is once again on full display here as management has given an unworthy adversary an opportunity at greatness.
JB: Well, Dalton is undefeated since his return at the end of Season One and I believe he beat Eric Watts last week.
SH: No matter. Eric is a hungry competitor and he will use that defeat to fuel further victories. Tonight Dalton Castle is put to an end.

2) The Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet & Rich Swann) defeated The English Lions (Zack Sabre Jr. & Will Ospreay) when Ricochet pinned Ospreay with 630 SENTON @ 11:09.
-An exciting tag match that saw plenty of action and high flying moves. During the match the ref was caught and knocked cold, the action continued and this brought out Marty Scurll. Ospreay hit a superkick on Swann and looked up at Scurll who slid a steel chair in the ring to the feet of Ospreay. He thought about picking it up until Sabre pulled it away. Swann then hit a kick of his own and tossed Sabre to the floor. A quick tag and Ricochet landed the 630 for the fall. After the match, Sabre attempted to help up Ospreay who was unhappy with him. He pushed Sabre pack and walked out by himself.

-Backstage- (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks prepare for action in the locker room when the door is pushed open by Adam Cole)
AC: Alright we need to get some things straight. Matt and Nick where were you last week? You were supposed to have my back but instead I got clobbered when my back was turned. I have a good mind to fire you both right now.
MJ: What? Hold on. Where were we? Where have you been? We text you and you ignore all three of us. And who says we work for you? We are supposed to be a team.
NJ: That's right Adam. A round table without a head because we are all leaders here.
KO: I think this has gone on long enough. The Elite - The Bullet Club it's about being the best and somewhere along the way you forgot that. We've tried to help you. Now I'm asking you once. We are all putting our hands in here and you need to decide if you want yours in here as well.

(Cole simmers a bit and slowly walks over and slides his hand on top of the over three.)
KO: The Elite - The, The Elite! All for one.

-Falls Count Anywhere-
3) "Knockout Artist" Chris Hero pinned Adam Cole with DEATHBLOW @ 8:55.
-A wild brawl that went in and out of the ring. Matt and Nick Jackson tried to help turn the tide for Cole with a Superkick party but Hero slid to the side and Cole was nailed instead. Hero then hit two consecutive Rolling Elbows and pinned the semi-conscious Cole.

Backstage: (MW Jergs is in his office when Jeremy Borash opens the door.)
JB: Hey boss. You got a minute?
MWJ: Not now JB.
JB: Just one minute. I think I can solve your problem. A kickstarter. I mean we have fans, get them to help pay for new belts.
MWJ: (sigh) Look I appreciate the effort. I just need to be alone and think.
(cell phone rings)
Excuse me. Yeah. Look I changed my number and still you call me? Uh huh. Yeah that's very interesting. Go on. One sec. JB, some privacy please.
JB: Oh sure.


4) The Elite (The Young Bucks & "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega) beat Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) & "King of the Streets" Sami Callihan when Matt pinned Romero with MELTZER DRIVER @ 12:15.
-Too much action to call here as the Elite worked very well as a team and were able to evade some heavy shots by the former tag team champions. The end saw Callihan miss a dive over the ropes while back inside the Elite hit a Springboard reverse piledriver for a decisive three count.


-Charm City Heavyweight Title Match-
5) Cedric Alexander (c) (w/ Stokley Hathaway & Eric Watts) beat Dalton Castle (w/The Boys) KICK TO KILL @ 10:45.
-Castle was in control early until the distraction of Hathaway and the interference of Watts derailed any title hopes. Watts slammed Castle into the ringpost and threw him back inside the ring. Alexander knew what to do and landed stiff kicks for the pinfall win.

Episode #31 - Season 2

(At the ringside announce table sits Todd Grisham and the great and devious Ultramantis Black)

1) "King of the Streets" Sami Callihan beat "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega by DISQUALIFICATION after a smash with a chair @ 5:07.
-This match was short and intense and only added to the rivalry between Callihan and Omega. Sami provided the early offense and after an Exploder suplex covered for a one count. He then tossed Omega to the outside where he missed a dive. Omega quickly called to the back and Matt and Nick Jackson walked out to the ring and hit stereo superkicks on Callihan after Omega smashed a chair on his skull. The ref called for the bell while Callihan was being tended to.

Interview: (Jeremy Borash is with Stokley Hathaway and Eric Watts)
JB: Mr. Hathaway a successful title defense by Cedric Alexander last week but it wasn't without controversy as Eric Watts interjected himself. Your thoughts?
SH: Dalton Castle needed to check himself and because he did not, he indeed did wreck himself. Eric Watts is a star on the rise and it's no one's fault but Mr. Castle's as to why he has drawn the ire of Big Nasty.
JB: Be that as it may, your client will defend the Charm City Heavyweight Title once again tonight in the Main Event against a man who is undefeated in Charm City - Chris Hero.
SH: Yes, I must say that I received this communication on short notice and as far as I know Mr. Alexander should be here but if he is not well then that's on management.

(Chris Hero walks out.)
CH: Hold up. You mean the champ isn't here? Listen up little man I need someone to knock out tonight and if the paper champ is too scared to get in the ring with Chris Hero then maybe it will be big boy behind you or maybe even you Hathaway.
SH: Cedric Alexander fears no man, least of all you my corpulent friend. And as for Eric Watts you may not want to provoke him.

-Charm City Women's Title Match-
2) Veda Scott (c) pinned Madison Eagles with FLEX EXPRESS @ 6:15.
-Scott was pounded early but a distraction from Christina Von Eerie made it hard to Eagles to focus on the match. Eagles was tossed outside and she was thrown into the ringpost and then rolled back in and was easy prey for the pin. Scott quickly rolled out of the ring as Von Eerie continued the assault. Officials broken things up but Eagles needed to be helped to the back afterwards.

Backstage: (The Young Bucks are waiting in the locker room for Adam Cole to arrive.)
MJ: I can't wait until he gets here. He's gonna love this.

(Cole walks in with his gym bag.)

NJ: Oh Adam. You got our text. Look man Matt and I can not express how sorry we are about last week. We felt that in some small way we may have contributed to your loss to Hero. But we know how to make it up. Friendship bracelets!!!
MJ: One from me and one from Nick. Kenny is still finishing his but he'll give it to you later.

(Cole stares blankly at both of them. Then cheers up.)
AC: Thanks so much guys. Really this is just what I needed. And don't worry I know you both meant well, it was just an honest mistake. Hey you guys have a tag match next. Do you need my support?
MJ: Well, sure that would be great Adam. Thanks. You really are taking this so well.

3) Natural Selection (Brian Cage & Shaun Ricker) (w/ Larry Dallas) beat The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) (w/ Adam Cole) when Cage pinned Nick with WEAPON X @ 11:25.
-An even match as the power of Larry Dallas' squad matched with the speed and high flying of the Bucks. Late in the match, Cole went to grab the leg of Cage but instead yanked Nick Jackson. This gave an opening and Cage hit Weapon X for the pinfall. Cole feigned being upset and had a sly smirk on his face as the Bucks argued with him to the back.

Backstage: (MW Jergs is on his cell.)
MWJ: Um hello, yes. You do? That was fast. Um before I get too excited could you please take a picture and send it to me. Yes. I'll wait.

There they are! I can't believe it. Yes of course. Well a deal is a deal and if you meet me here next week we can take care of all the particulars. Oh great! Yeah well I've got a great idea. Yes! (hangs up)

4) Ricochet pinned Zack Sabre Jr. with a DOUBLE ROTATION MOONSAULT @ 12:55.
- An excellent match between these two. Sabre and Ricochet both had opportunities. During the match Marty Scurll walked out to the ring to observe. The ref was caught in the turnbuckle during the match and was knocked cold. Sabre looked at Scurll who slid a chair into the ring towards him. He thought about picking it up but instead kicked it away. Ricochet used the distraction to kick Sabre low and then used a spectacular moonsault for the win. When Sabre got up he slammed the mat in frustration and picked up the chair and took it to the back with him.

In-Ring: (MW Jergs is out and appears too giddy to even speak)
MWJ: Ladies and gentlemen the Charm City Tag Team Titles have been recovered! They have been found and I'd like to announce that a 16 team tournament will be held to crown new champions. Several first round matches will be held next week and the full bracket will be announced with teams from all over the indy scene. Stay tuned. I'm pumped up.

(Stokley Hathaway and Eric Watts walk out.)
SH: Sorry to spoil your good mood but Cedric Alexander's flight from London was delayed and he will not be here for your title defense this evening.
MWJ: What?! Then I'll strip him of the title.
SH: Don't be so hasty. Read the contract as Mr. Alexander must receive a week's notice at minimum for all title defenses. Now I know you can't afford a good lawyer so it will have to wait.
MWJ: Ok, so Alexander defends against Hero next week. Meanwhile I need a match so unless you're getting in there Hero faces Eric Watts.

5) "Knockout Artist" Chris Hero pinned "Big Nasty" Eric Watts (w/Stokley Hathaway) with CYCLONE KILL @ 4:35.
-Hero was all offense and overwhelmed the large rookie. He landed some high impact strikes and won the match convincingly. After the pinfall Cedric Alexander hot the ring and leveled Hero with the title belt. Soon it was a three on one and Alexander hit the Lumbar Check and left Hero in the ring.

(At the ringside announce table sits Todd Grisham and the great and devious Ultramantis Black)

In Ring: (MW Jergs is out with the CCW Tag Team belts over each shoulder. He is beaming as he walks up the ringsteps.)
MWJ: Ladies and gentlemen I am proud to announce that the tag belts as you can see are in my possession. So over the next several weeks we will be holding a sixteen team tournament to crown a new pair of champions. Three of the first round matches you will see on today's show as well as a Main Event for the Charm City Heavyweight championship as Cedric Alexander defends against Chris Hero. But before we start the show I must publicly thank the man that was responsible for recovering these titles. He is a man that is no stranger to pro wrestling or fans of Charm City Underground. Due to his actions I have declared that he is fully reinstated in Charm City Underground effective immediately. "The Louisville Slugger" Jim Cornette!


(Jim Cornette walks out to fans booing loudly.)
JC: Ok. Look I probably deserved that. I knew that my reinstatement would be controversial but I need to tell each and every one of you that I've spent a lot of time reflecting on my time here and the events that led to my departure and I want to say that I am looking to make amends by returning here. As you all know I'm very connected in the wrestling business and I saw an opportunity to be of help in retrieving the tag team titles from the Hardys. It took several phone calls and some undercover work but as you can see I delivered on my promise to Mr. Jergs. As of right now I have no plans to manage or to seek retribution against Adam Cole or The Young Bucks. It's water under the bridge and I just want to be part of something special and that is Charm City Underground. Thank you.

(Cornette and Jergs shake hands as some fans give polite applause)

-Charm City Underground Tag Team Tournament - First Round-
1) Doom Patrol (Chris Dickinson & Jaka) defeated 2 Cold Scorpio & ACH when Jaka pinned Scorpio with DEATH TRAP @ 7:45.
- Jaka and Dickinson isolated the vet Scorpio and punished him with tag moves. A Burning Hammer by Dickson lead to the finsih with the Death Trap.

Backstage: (MW Jergs is in his office. The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Adam Cole all enter without knocking.)
MWJ: Um, it's open.
AC: Are you serious? How can you allow -
KO: Adam please, you're too emotional allow me. I can speak for all of us when I say that your decision to allow Jim Cornette back into this promotion shows a total disregard for the rules. He was supposed to be out of here for one full season. That meant that most likely I would never have to speak to the man. He's a fossil from a bygone age.
AC: Does that mean you are leaving soon?
MWJ: Gentlemen I knew that this decision would be controversial and I don't care. I have to look out for myself since it's my money and my organization. He's back. However from what he's told me he no plans on coming after any of you.
MJ: And you believe that!?
MWJ: Um, maybe not. But my decision is final. And Bucks that gives you a chance to win the titles once again. You can sell plenty of merch and gain yet another tag title to add to your resume. Now gentlemen good bye. I've got a show to run.

-Charm City Underground Tag Team Title Tournament- First Round-
2) Natural Selection (Brian Cage & Shaun Ricker) (w/Larry Dallas) beat The British Lions (Zack Sabre Jr. & Will Ospreay) by DISQUALIFICATION when Ospreay used a chair on Ricker @ 8:25.
-The power of Cage and Ricker were tough for the Lions to combat. The distractions of Larry Dallas didn't help either. Ospreay continued to grow frustrated being held by the official while Sabre was double teammed. Once again Marty Scurll made his presence at ringside and instructed Ospreay to pick up the chair. After Sabre was hit with the Gravy Train, Ospreay smashed the chair on Ricker's back and then hit Cage as he entered the ring. The ref called for the bell disqualifying the Lions. Sabre was unhappy at the result but Ospreay just pushed him away and left with Scurll to the back. Sabre stood by himself and shook his head.

Interview: (Jeremy Borash is with Chris Hero)
JB: Tonight Chris Hero you get a shot at the Charm City Underground title. Your thoughts?
CH: Well JB, as you can probably tell I don't like many people here in Charm City. I keep to myself and anyone who is dumb enough to want a match with me ends up on their back. So tonight I face the supposed best in the company in Cedric Alexander. But I won't just be facing him. Eric Watts will be at ringside and so will that little leech Stokely Hathaway. If they decide to interject themselves into tonight's match I have an elbow waiting for each of them. I will walk out with that belt tonight, one way or the other.

-Falls Count Anywhere-
3) Madison Eagles pinned Christina Von Eerie with a BRAINBUSTER on the floor @ 7:55.
-A brutal match between these two rivals. The advantage shifted numerous times. Von Eerie went for a Graveyard Smash but was blocked and thrown to the floor. A few knee strikes and then a brain buster to the concrete had her out and Eagles got the duke. She didn't get to celebrate long as MsChif came through the crowd and attacked her. She pounded away and threw her back in the ring. She locked in the Gates of Hell and several officials had to hit the scene to get her off of the fallen Eagles.
*Madison Eagles is injured 3 fight cards.

Interview: (Jeremy Borash is with Sami Callihan)
JB: "King of the Streets" Sami Callihan. You asked for this interview time, what do you need to tell the fans?
SC: The sheep don't need to listen to anything that I say, only one man needs to hear me and that's Kenny Omega. You see I want to expose you as the fraud that you are. You claim to be this tough guy. "The Cleaner" you call yourself. Well I'm the King of the Streets. I earned that title when I put out Masada. I sent him packing to New Jersey. And I'll do the same to you.
(Kenny Omega is out to respond)
KO: I see you Sami Callihan. I see you. I'm willing to get in the ring with you but are you willing to face me in a special match. A match where only one man can be left upright. Last Man Standing!
SC: Of course.
KO: Then until next week. Good bye and good night!

-Charm City Underground Tag Team Title Match-
4) Pretty Boy Killers (Shane Taylor & Keith Lee) defeated Team Tremendous (Dan Barry & Bill Carr) when Taylor pinned Barry with SENMETSU @ 11:25.
-An exciting tag match with several high flying moves from wrestlers over 300 pounds. Carr was wiped out with a clothesline which left the smaller Barry to fend off the two monsters. He was hit with a Spirit Bomb by Lee and then a Frog splash by Taylor for the fall.

-Charm City Underground Title Match-
5) Cedric Alexander (c) (w/Stokley Hathaway & Eric Watts) beat "Knockout Artist" Chris Hero by DISQUALIFICATION when he accidentally hit the referee.
-Alexander used his two distractions and continually slipping out of the ring to the floor to frustrate Hero. Hero had finally had enough and cleared the area. He tagged Watts with a Rolling Elbow as well as Alexander. He aimed for Hathaway next but he dodged and the official got it instead.

[Pariah]

Really like the pairing of Ospreay and ZSJr as the British Lions... Wondering what will happen as Ospreay continues to fall deeper under the influence of the Villain...

Totally looking forward to Omega vs Callihan in a Last Man Standing... Definite classic potential... Awesome stuff!

Episode #33 - Season 2

(At the ringside announce table sits Todd Grisham and the great and devious Ultramantis Black)


-Charm City Underground Tag Team Tournament - First Round-
1) The Batiri (Obariyon & Kodama) beat Forever Hooligans (Alex Koslov & Rocky Romero) by DISQUALIFICATION @ 9:17.
- The former tag champs started quickly and used several double team moves. Koslov hit a Soviet Strike to the chin of Obariyon but was saved at the last second by his partner. At that point Ultramantis Black walked over to ringside and issued encouragement and instructions to the face painted team. Almost immediately the tide turned as they isolated Romero in the corner. After a Flying Blockbuster Kolsov hit the ring and all four men battled it out. The official tried to maintain order but was in the way of another superkick by Koslov. A second official came out and rang the bell giving the match to the Batiri. As the action calmed down Ultramantis Black made a few motions towards the young team and they almost froze and walked in line towards the back while Mantis returned to his broadcast position.

Ringside: (Todd Grisham is with Ultramantis Black)
TG: What on earth was that all about?
UMB: I'm sorry that I left my position Mr. Grisham but I felt compelled to help these two young men in their quest for tag glory.
TG: Do you know those two guys?
UMB: Indeed. They have traveled the astroplane with me. We have broken bread together and when I was an active competitor we fought side by side. I apologize for being a bit overzealous. It won't happen again.
TG: It looks like you have quite the influence over the Batiri.
UMB: They are good soldiers. But please back to the action in the ring.

-Charm City Underground Tag Team Tournament- First Round-
2) Devastation Corporation (Blaster McMassive & Flex Rumblecrunch) defeated Matt Riddle & "Mr. Athletic" Jeff Cobb when Flex pinned Cobb with CLAW SLAM @ 6:45.
-A brawl started things off in this one as both teams took shots at the other. The Corporation hit a Black Hole Slam on Cobb and then a Claw Slam to gain the win and advance. Riddle didn't seem too worried as he left the ring after the finisher and left Cobb alone.

-Backstage- (MW Jergs is in his office when Colt Cabana knocks on the door)
MWJ: Um what's up Colt?
CC: Hey yeah could I talk to you for a second?
MWJ: Look for the last time I don't have the cash to sponsor the podcast.
CC: It's not about that, it's about Jim Cornette. Do you really believe that he's changed at all?
MWJ: Um...No. Not at all. But I have the titles back and this tournament has been great so far. We've got some new teams here, there's some buzz on the Internet.
CC: I just think that since I know Jim a bit, I think there is more than this than meets the eye and I would like your permission to do some detective work.
MWJ: (sigh) Will it cost me anything?
CC: Not a dime.
MWJ: Then have at it. Are you planning on doing this thing yourself?
CC: No. I've got some professionals in mind. Just give me a few weeks and I know I'll have something for you.

3) "Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay pinned Dalton Castle (w/The Boys) with an ESSEX DESTROYER @ 7:55.
-Castle was in control early and frustrated his opponent with his unconventional offense. Marty Scurll walked out to ringside and tripped up Castle off the ropes. Ospreay took advantage and hit a spectacular shooting star press for a two count. He then followed it up with the flip piledriver and got the win. After the match Scurll directed Ospreay to take out the Boys. Both he and Will hit successive clotheslines on Castle's seconds and then turned their attention to the fallen Castle. Zack Sabre Jr. came out and attempted to hold Ospreay back before he could land a kick. Sabre then spun around and started stomping away on Castle himself. Scurll was overjoyed and smiled as both Ospreay and Sabre pummeled Castle. Colt Cabana then hit the ring with a chair to chase off the group as it looks as it "The Villain" has poisoned another group of wrestlers.

Locker Room: (The Elite are gathered together)
KO: This is long overdue. It would be an understatement to say that things haven't gone they way we all would have hoped so far. But we can change things around and it starts with my match with Sami Callihan tonight. This group is built on trust and it hasn't always been there. But if I get your support tonight -all of you then I will do what I can to help you all achieve your goal. Matt and Nick you have a match in the tag tournament next week and Adam I hear that there will be a Fatal Four Way Challenger's match next week to see who gets the next shot at Cedric. I want to make sure that you are in that match. We can do these things together.
MJ & NJ: We're in!
AC: Hmm. You would do that for me Kenny because that's what I've wanted for months. Then Yes.
All: The Elite. The -The Elite!

-Charm City Underground Tag Team Tournament- First Round-
4) The Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet & Rich Swann) beat AC/DC (Arik Cannon & Darin Corbin) when Swann pinned Corbin with TORNADO SPIN KICK @ 4:45.
-The Machine guns were dominant in this one and appear to be a favorite for the belts.

-Last Man Standing Match-
5) "King of the Streets" Sami Callihan beat "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega with a Steel Chair Suicide Dive @ 11:02.
-A brutal match that saw metal pipes in play and Callihan getting slammed on the windshield of a parked car. During the match The Young Bucks and Adam Cole all got involved. The Bucks hit a double superkick but were sent to the back by MW Jergs. As the match went out to the parking lot, Adam Cole was in a parked car and attacked Callihan and bodyslammed him on the windshield. He also was ordered out. The action went back into the arena and Callihan used a steel chair to great effect. He leapt off the apron with a dive with a chair. Both were out cold but Callihan rose up at the 8 count while Omega was still groggy.

[Pariah]

Awesome Last Man Standing victory for Callihan over the Cleaner... Proving to everyone why he is King of the Streets... Another wicked show!

AC: Kenny? Kenny? Anyone seen Omega?

(Jeremy Borash wanders by.)
AC: JB, you seen Omega?
JB: Nah, Nah. Gotta go man, sorry.

AC: Thanks (sarcastic) Com'on. Maybe I can find the owner instead?

(Jim Cornette walks around the corner and freezes)
AC: (smirking) Well, well, well. What a shock to see you here. So how did you weasel out of the stipulations? Eh, I don't care anyway.
JC; Listen I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm just helping out where I can and if it means anything I'd like to say I'm sorry.
AC: Whatever. Hey I have a way to can help me. Where's Jergs? I've got a question about the main event tonight. Omega promised me a chance to get my title back and I want to make sure that I'm in tonight's top contenders Fatal Four Way.
JC: I agree with you.
AC: (confused) You do?
JC: Yes. You're one of the most talented athletes here but I wouldn't trust Kenny Omega. Probably trying to get himself a spot in that match. But hey let's go find the commissioner, huh?
AC: Um, okay.

-Charm City Underground Tag Team Tournament- First Round-
1) Los Primos Rivera (Danny & Gino) defeated War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe) when Gino pinned Hanson with DOUBLE STOMP @ 7:45.
-A huge upset that was helped by the outside interference of Natural Selection and Larry Dallas. Dallas kept the official busy while Shaun Ricker clobbered Hanson with a chair. Rivera took advantage and hit a double stomp off the top for the tainted win.

Interview (Jeremy Borash is with Women's champion Veda Scott)
JB: Well Veda, it's been a while since you've defended that championship who do you think should be your next opponent?
VS: Is anyone worthy of facing me? Nope. I'm waiting for someone, anyone to step into this company and give me an actual challenge. Eagles is out and she's not coming back. Heidi Lovelace ran scared too.There isn't anyone.
JB: What about MsChif?
VS: Um, well. Um, she hasn't even wrestled a match here. You don't just walk in or in her case drag her knuckle behind her and just get title matches. You earn it.
JB: Well she will appear next in her first match in Charm City. Would you care to watch?
VS: Uh, no I've got a phone call, or a somewhere to be. You tell me how it turns out, ok.

2) MsChif (w/Christina Von Eerie) defeated Leva Bates with the Desecrator @ 3:25.
-This was a total squash with Bates getting in little to no offense. After the match MsChif demanded better competition for next week.

Backstage: (Jim Cornette and Adam Cole are both looking for M.W. Jergs)
JC: Hey anyone seen Jergs? Anyone?

(M.W. Jergs is talking with a cameraman)
JC: Ah, there you are. See Adam I delivered for you.
MWJ: What do you want Corny?
JC: Nothing. However Adam Cole has some questions about tonight's main event.
AC: I want to make sure that I'm in the match to decide who will get the next shot at my Charm City Heavyweight Title. Kenny Omega promised me that he'd talk with you and that I'd get a chance.
MWJ: Hmm, well to be honest Adam when was the last time you won a match here? I don't just give out title shots, you earn them. And I can tell you that you are not in the match tonight. But it's interesting that you mention Omega's name because he is one of the men in that match.
AC: I can't believe this. I've texted him all week. Maybe he can give me his spot?
MWJ: I doubt it. You really think he'd do that for you?
AC: Ok, Ok. Thanks I just need to talk with him. Finally I'm going to get my chance.

3)"Big Nasty" Eric Watts (w/Stokley Hathaway) fought Detective Bill Carr (w/Det. Dan Barry) to a DOUBLE-COUNTOUT @ 5:55.
-A match-up of two big men with surprising agility. Carr hit a tremendous moonsault off the top rope that almost got a three count if not for Stokley placing Watts' leg on the ropes. The match continued as both rolled to the floor and refused to heed to official's instructions. After ten both were counted out.

Interview: (Jeremy Borash is with Colt Cabana and Dalton Castle)
JB: Gentlemen you are getting ready for the final first round match in this tag team tournament and it won't be easy as you take on former champions - The Young Bucks.
CC: Pro Wrestling is never easy JB and we both know that we may not be able to fly around the ring like the Jacksons do. But we have our own set of skills to take them down and advance one more step towards the gold.
DC: I want it all! I want it all! and I want it now! And you know what else I want - Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, and Zack Sabre Jr. in the ring. Last week I was beaten down and stomped, kicked, and punched by men who are jealous of what I am and that's someone who is himself. No one in the world of pro wrestling is like me and no one gets revenge like me either. After tonight I'm coming for ya boys.
JB: Just one more question Colt, you have been very vocal about Jim Cornette's return to Charm City Underground and you've said that you will be starting an investigation?
CC: That's right JB. After tonight I plan on doing a little Hardy Boys action. Many people including myself have had issues with Cornette. I don't trust this humble attitude or how he was able to get those tag titles back to shorten his loser leaves town stipulation. I've already been in contact with some professional help and I will get to the bottom of this.

-Charm City Tag Team Title Tournament - First Round-
4) The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeated Colt Cabana & Dalton Castle (w/The Boys) when Nick pinned Castle with MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK @ 2:45.
-This was a quick one. All four men were in the ring until Colt was hit with a double superkick. Double team moves on Castle set him up for the finish and the Bucks advancing in the tournament.

Backstage: (Adam Cole finds Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks celebrating in the locker room)
AC: Congratulations Matt and Nick. Great job guys. Kenny, just the man I want to see.
KO: Yeah, listen I need to get ready for the next match so I know you want to talk but it'll have to wait.
AC: Well I don't think it can. You told me that you would help get me a shot at getting my title back and there's a Fatal Four Way tonight. I helped you last week with Callihan even though you still lost.
KO: Thanks for that. I need some redemption tonight and Callihan is in that match tonight too. So I will be there.
AC: What!?
KO: Look we can talk about this later I have to get to the ring. (Omega leaves)
AC: I've had it! (flips over a table)

-Fatal Four Way- Winner Gets a Shot for Charm City Underground Title-
5) "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega defeated "King of the Streets" Sami Callihan, "Knockout Artist" Chris Hero, & Moose when Omega pinned Callihan with ONE WINGED ANGEL @ 16:01.
- The crowd popped huge for the return of Moose who hit the ring to start a four way brawl. Plenty of high spots and great moments in this one. Late in the match, Adam Cole came out to ringside and started arguing with Omega. As the ref was checking on Hero who dove on to Moose on the outside, Cole went in the ring and faked leaving and then went to hit a superkick but Omega sidestepped it. Cole hit a charging Callihan instead. Omega then hit a knee that knocked Cole to the floor. He then scooped up Callihan and put him away with the One-Winged Angel to earn the shot.

Big win by the Riveras, like the team of Cabana and Castle...too bad it ended so quickly.
