The doors of Intense Freelance Wrestling are wide open for anyone that wants to come in and see where they stack up inside the ring. Tonight, on the debut show, the first round of both the IFW heavyweight and tag team title tournaments will take place.
FIRST ROUND
IFW HEAVYWEIGHT / TAG TEAM
TITLE TOURNAMENTS
JT Lightning def. Suge D
What an awesome first match in IFW history! These two just missed going the time limit. It was a dead even contest and nothing but back and forth action in and out of the ring. It was JT Lightning able to finally use his finisher, the Cattle Mutilation, to score the win. (Suge D 3 coins)
Josh Alexander def. Louis Lyndon
A super fast-paced match that could have gone either way. Alexander was on top to start and really dished it out to Lyndon. As soon as the momentum changed though Alexander fought to stay alive. Lyndon dominated for a long time but couldn't finish Alexander off. Alexander rallied with a lariat and a crossbody to grab the win. (Alexander 5 coins)
Four Star Heroes def. Youthanazia
The first ever IFW tag team match was an incredible classic! Josh Prohibition and Matt Cross really dominated this one, but couldn't put it in the books. Both Chris Castro and Matt Knicks were in lots of trouble during the contest. After a couple of pin saves, interferrence saved them again. Then later the ref was knocked out after a missed top rope move. The fight kept going and the Four Star Heroes shocked Youthanazia with Obamacare to beat Josh Prohibition. (Knicks 5 coins, Castro 3 coins, Prohibition 3 coins)
Robert Anthony def. Dick Justice
The Supercop gave The Ego a good fight. Anthony eventually got things going. Full Blown Chaos and the Taco Pizza put Dick Justice away.
The N Words def. The Brothers of Funstruction
Acid Jaz and B Ryce mostly did what they wanted in this one. They built the momentum to the King Cobra Cutter to drop Ruffo the Clown.
Tim Donst def. Eric Ryan
In not time at all this one was over. An exploder suplex, STO and Donstitution finished off Eric Ryan.
Rickey Shane Page def. Ethan Page
This match ended up being a pretty good fight. Rickey Shane ended up on the attack a little bit more, using the twist of faith, chokebreaker and suplexes. The Rolling Elbow got him the win.
Sage Strong & Malta the Damager def. Beauty & The Beast
A pretty short encounter. Malta put down both opponents. Sage Strong dropped Stevie Fierce with the Rush of Adrenaline for the three.
Isaias Velazquez def. Orange Cassidy
What might look like an easy one for Velazquez, it was not. Orange Cassidy only dozed off one time, and was able to comeback and nearly take the match. Then Cassidy fought to keep this one going but two times with the Hammer of Dawn ended the bout.
Arik Cannon def. Craig Mitchell
About as short a match as you can get. Cannon stormed out with an elbow and a spinning neckbreaker to put Mitchell down for the count.
To Infinity & Beyond def. Milk Chocolate
A real good, fast pace and even matched contest here. Milk Chocolate looked good but so did TIAB. Colin Delaney landed a lariat and then the Lungblower to get the fall on Brandon Watts.
Davey Vega def. Shane Hollister
Vega never let up on his opponent. He was relentless until a German suplex brought him the win.
