The battle for the Super Indy Tag Team Titles begins on August 20th as Super Indy presents βTag Wars Night Oneβ at the Vanier Columbus Club in Ottawa ** 1st Match Announcement** Super Indy Management does not want waste any time announcing the participating teams in the 16 team, single elimination tournament to determine the first ever Super Indy Tag Team Champions. It will come as no surprise to Super Indy fans that the top seed in the title tournament is the team of Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe, the Briscoe Brothers. The Briscoe Brothers have been on a tear since night one in Super Indy and their impressive record puts them at the top of the bracket. Their first round opponents have been anything but successful to date but have earned a spot in the tournament regardless. Los Banditos have yet to pick up a victory in a Super Indy ring but that does not make them any less dangerous. Will the Briscoe Brother move on to the next round or will Rico Dynamite & Tito Escondido finally prove their worth with an epic upset?

So... Will we see an upset in the first round of the Tag Wars title tournament? Possibly... But, I don't think it will happen when the Briscoes take on Los Banditos... Expecting Dem Boys to MAN UP!

** 2nd Match Announcement** The team of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, Wrestlingβs Greatest Tag Team, have looked very impressive in their matches recently including spoiling the debut of the team of the American Wolves back at Gold. They have also been to war twice with the Briscoe Brothers. Their efforts have resulted in a number five seed for the WGTT. Across the ring from Benjamin and Haas will be the dangerous tandem of Ares and Claudio Castagnoli, Swiss Money Inc. Will the European team have what it takes to move into the next round or with the skills of Benjamin and Haas prove superior?

For my second pick of the tournament, i have to go with WGTT... In my own feds, Haas and Benjamin possibly have the best win-loss percentage of any tag team... These two know how to get the job done... Can't wait!

** 3rd Match Announcement** The C & C Connection of Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander thrilled fans earlier this year with their three match series with the Young Bucks and as a result are seeded number eight the tournament. The ninth seeded team has also had the fans behind them in recent outing in their feud with SCUM. Future Shock Adam Cole & Kyle OβReilly will be looking to make a big impact and go deep into the tournament sending a message to SCUM and perhaps even meeting them in another round.

There's no doubting the talent of Cole and O'Reilly... And four times out of five, I think they would defeat C & C... But, something tells me that Alexander and Coleman are bringing their 'A' game to Tag Wars and will advance over Future Shock...
Gonna be a fun show!

* 4th Match Announcement** The always controversial Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs, collectively known as SCUM, have managed to pick enough sufficient victories to be awarded the fourth seed in the tournament. Across the ring with be members of the ever popular Colony, Fire Ant & Solider Ant. This bout will be an interesting contrast and styles. Will the support of the fans be sufficient for the Colony to get the upset. Many fans certainly hope so.

The Colony are dynamic and fun... Jacobs and Corino are the personification of raw brutality... SCUM will defeat themselves by getting disqualified... Unfortunate because otherwise, there should be some steady action here.

Thank you for the tournament picks Pariah . Now onto the non tournament matches! * 5th Match Announcement** The House of Truth will be on hand in Ottawa. In the first announced non-tournament match Truth Martini will lead Roderick Strong to the ring to take on fan favorite Jigsaw. Both are capable grapplers so the intensity should be high for this undercard match up.

Here comes SCUM! I've not used Jacobs much in the game, but was shocked to see he is 10-1 in singles matches so far, which is very impressive. SCUM are a dangerous team and The Colony need to be at their best to beat them for sure.
