All hail Team FIST! Taylor, Gargano and Icarus all posted huge wins at Take Flight. Icarus over El Generico was a shocker to me but credit the FIST leader for coming through. I was pulling for The Colony to win the tag titles but The Tribe took the easy way out. I hope that the Ants can get a title rematch.
Match of the night for me was Roderick Strong beating Jay Lethal. That one was fun from start to finish. Very cool to see Madison Eagles advance in the Super Indy Elite title tournament as going in I thought that Lufisto might take that one. I also really liked that six-man tag win by the Unforgiven Ones over Donst, Madrid and Yuma. Delirious with the sneak attack on AR Fox sets up a big grudge match down the line. Another great show my friend.

Super Indy Fight Club looks to make its mark with “Fight!” Dom Polski Hall in Ottawa on October 29, 2016. Booker’s Note: In support of the Fight Club atmosphere, disqualifications will arise after a double roll of the dice ** 1st Match Announcement** If there is a competitor on the Fight Club roster that defines the word “Fight” it is Kevin Steen. He was involved in the first ever Super Indy main event, battled for the Super Indy Title as part of th epic four way finals at “Gold” and came up short in quest to win the Super Indy Title at “Nightmare Challenge” when he was disqualified against Mike Quackenbush. It is only fitting that “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” headline the first ever Super Indy Fight Club card. Steen will once again go after the biggest prize in Super Indy when he steps into the ring against current Super Indy Champion Mike Quackenbush. This will be the third time the two have clashed with the title on the line. Will Steen finally able to capture the Title or will Quackenbush put the challenge of Steen behind him once and for all?

Booker’s Note: In support of the Fight Club atmosphere, disqualifications will arise after a double roll of the dice Less risk of DQ should help to embrace the more violent nature implied by the brand name... Very cool idea!

** 2nd Match Announcement** Two powerhouses are set to collide at “Fight!: as “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin will meet Brodie Lee in what should be a ring shaking encounter. Both men have to be considered just outside of the title shot and a victory at this event may be just what they need to obtain an opportunity at the Super Indy Title.

Lee vs Elgin is one of those matchups that has the potential to be extremely brutal, but could also end in the blink of an eye... Neither man can rely on strength alone in this one because they are too evenly matched... Elgin would do well to try keeping the action inside the ring... Especially with the overly flexible rulebook of the Fight Club brand... Can't wait!

** 3rd Match Announcement** Two competitors who know what it means to fight will do battle at Super Indy Fight Club’s “Flight” as Rhino will be in action when he takes on the dangerous Homicide in singles action. It doubtful that the ring will be able to contain the action once the bell sounds as both men are known for doing what it takes to get the win.

How sweet is this? The Fight Club brand is certainly living up to its name... Homicide vs Rhino is the stuff hardcore dreams are made of... Even with the extra leniency being offered by officials, this one could easily end in a disqualification... The Notorious 187 will want to keep things moving because the instant things start to slow down, he's liable to be on the receiving end of a GORE!

** 4th Match Announcement** Super Indy “Fight” will also feature tag team competition. In a highlighted match of the undercard, Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team will bring their mix of power, speed and skill to the ring to do battle against the supernatural, highflying antics of the Osirian Portal. Should be an entertaining contest as both sides are looking to become the next contender to the Super Indy Tag Team Titles.

** 5th Match Announcement** Delirious earned the wrath of the Super Indy Northern Lights fans last week with his attack on A.R. Fox but it will be interesting to see how the fans take to him when he steps into the ring with the always hated Michael Bennett in singles action. Bennett has promised to have both Brutal Bob and Maria at ringside with him so Delirious, who is unstable at the best of times, will have a lot to contend with besides the fans. Also in action: The Brotherhood, The Canadian Ninjas, Greg Excellent, Joker, Lucha Sisters, and The Throwbacks.
