SIS Card #16 was stellar and I loved the main event finish. Adam Pearce ends the Super Indy title reign of Mike Quackenbush but then Claudio Castagnoli strikes laying out both men and holding up the title belt. Awesome. At least one promotion (read not WWE) knows how to book CC correctly. I am a big Jessie McKay fan but even I will admit I was worried about her going against Saraya Knight. It looks like Knight had no trouble picking up that win and should prove to be a huge threat in the remainder of the tournament.

Ultramatis Black vs. Larry Sweeney was great even with the DQ finish. I loved the ending with the involvement by both the Young Bucks and Incoherence. That was only a foreshadowing of a great moment for Incoherence as they returned later to win the Super Indy tag titles from The Tribe in a great match. Although he lost I have to give Joey Ryan credit for taking Bryan Danielson to the limit in what was another great bout.

Have to agree with our friend, cruefan68... The closing moments of that main event really stole the show and I'm looking forward to Claudio getting another shot at the top prize... Very pleased that Incoherence were able to claim the tag belts... And Joey Ryan looked great against Danielson, despite the loss...

Also want to add that the Briscoes are looking very sharp and I expect to see them in the title picture very soon...

Super Indy Northern Lights will be back in action on November 12, 2016 at The Cowboy’s Ranch in London Ontario as they present “Rise of the War King”

** 1st Match Announcement**
As the name of this event implies, Eddie Kingston will be featured in the main event. This was originally booked as Eddie Kingston challenging Mike Quackenbush for the Super Indy Title in a rematch from their incredibly brutal battle at Tag Wars Night Three. However, with Quackenbush dropping the title to Adam Pearce at “Fired Up” it will now be the new Super Indy Champion making his first title defense against Eddie Kingston in the main event. The fans have no love for either wrestler so the atmosphere should be interesting as two of the most intense competitors in the business clash with top prize in Super Indy on the line.

As much as I'd like to see the War King claim the title, part of me wants to see Pearce defend that belt against Claudio Castagnoli... Either way, it should be an intense main event... Sweet!

** 2nd Match Announcement**
Back at “Take Flight” Delirious made a bold statement attacking A.R. Fox who was addressing the fans from the ring. It did not take long for Northern Lights to react and sign a match between the two competitors. Fox will be looking for some payback while the always controversial Delirious will be looking to score a victory that will move him closer to the top of the contenders list.

** 3rd Match Announcement**
It was a big night for the Friends In Similar Tights at “Take Flight” as Johnny Gargano & Chuck Taylor bested Future Shock and Icarus picked up a big singles victory of El Generico. The six men will back at it again at “Rise of the War King” this time in six man action. Team FIST v. Future Shock and El Generico. Should be an interesting contest. Should FIST pull out the win, their stock will no doubt be on the rise.

** 4th Match Announcement**
The Colony picked up a disqualification victory against then Super Indy Tag Team Champions The Tribe back at “Take Flight” and will no doubt be entitled to a rematch at some point down the road especially given that they did make it to the finals of the Super Indy Tag Team Title Tournament. Before their next shot at the titles, standing in their way with be the challenge of the American Wolves who got off to a slow start in Super Indy but appear to be regaining the form that has given them Tag Team Gold through the United States. Will the Colony continue with their success or will the American Wolves emerge victorious and stake their claim for their own future title shot?

Would really like to see the Wolves pick up the win in this one in order to earn a shot at the belts in the near future... One of the most intense tag teams going... Very excited for this one!

** 5th Match Announcement **
After failing to advance by the opening round of the Elite Title Tournament Christina Von Eerie and Mercedes Mertinez are outside the Elite Title picture. Now both women are looking to make gains in the rankings and will square off in singles action at “Rise of the War King.” There is a lot riding on this encounter considering that the winner will solidify their position in the mid card of the Elite division while the loser will fall ever further in the eyes of Super Indy Management.
