What an awesome show my friend. Those last three matches had me out of my chair too. Congrats to Claudio Castagnoli on winning the Super Indy title in the three-way over Kevin Steen and Eddie Kingston. I loved the pre-show angle with Kingston getting himself inserted into the match. Dem Boy's over The Tribe - what a match! Masada over Drake Young in the Deathproof Match was absolutely incredible and I will echo the "awesome" and "fight forever chants". It was also very cool to see Mia Yim pick up a big win over Lufisto in their match.

Have to agree with everything stated by our friend, cruefan68... The Deathproof match between Younger and Masada being my favorite... And a special nod to Danielson for that stellar performance against the Sicilian Psychopath... Awesome stuff! |

David Marquez took to social media to a huge announcement this week regarding the new Super Indy Northern Lights card coming this weekend. Northern Lights Management has been become the first subsidiary to earn the right to have its own champion. “Winter Knights” will feature a one night tournament to determine the first ever Super Indy Northern Lights Champion. Ten competitors will battle in five opening round matches with the winner of each contest advancing to a five man Fray match to determine the first Champion. The competitors signed up to complete are as follows: Fire Ant, Sami Callihan, El Generico, A.R. Fox, Icarus, Jimmy Jacobs, Lay Lethal, Mike Quackenbush, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.
Plus, Tag Team Champions Incoherence put the Super Indy Tag Team Titles on the line against The American Wolves and in Super Indy Elite action, Daizee Haze & Sara Del Rey will battle the team of Veda Scott and Kimber Lee

That Fray Match was great and it was cool to see Roderick Strong come away with the victory and the new Northern Lights title belt. I loved the finish with the transition into the Strong Hold via the Cloverleaf. Congrats to the American Wolves on winning the tag titles from Incoherence in what was a great tag battle. The competition in Super Indy is always great.

Congratulations to Roddy Strong on becoming the inaugural Super Indy Northern Lights champion... He definitely faced off with some of the most talented competitors in the field... Even though I was pulling for Sami to take it all, it's difficult not to respect a man of Strong's pedigree...
Also excited that the Wolves now hold the tag belts and I'm hoping they have an illustrious run as champs...

Thank you for the comments cruefan68 and Pariah. I was also pulling for Callihan to advance but thanks to Truth Martini the Northern Lights Title belongs to Roderick Strong. Interestingly enough the Super Indy Title is set to be defended on the next Northern Lights card and the clear top contender is Strong. That will be the main event. As well, David Marquez has booked a the first ever battle royal in Super Indy with the winner getting the first shot at the Northern Lights Title. |

More stellar action from the Super Indy and a great main event with Claudio Castagnoli retaining the title over Adam Pearce. That was a strong effort from Pearce but CC retains in spectacular fashion. Elgin vs. Rhino, the definition of a Hoss Battle and a big win for Big Mike over the "Man Beast".
Two Husky Black Guys & Jigsaw made short work of The Batiri which is fine by me. Rhett Titus & Greg Excellent seem like an unlikely pairing so I was not surprised to see the Wolves retain the tag titles. Too much talent on the championship side there so it would have been a big upset in my opinion if they lost the belts there. Courtney Rush and Leva Bates had a show stealing match. I was on the edge of my seat for that one. Joey Ryan being anywhere near Mia Yim scares me but I don't know why. I do like Ryan and Adam Cole as a team, though, and that was a strong win over The Throwbacks.
