CARD 1064 – SATURDAY NIGHT STARSLAMMERS – CAPELLA STAR GARDENS:
Here we go again. BLACKOUT matches ordered by Cordanus. He deems “too much violence on the last few shows is putting crowds at risk”. So all matches are behind closed doors. Kills the atmosphere but at least the wrestlers are very audible. Shame for the fans as there is a big emphasis on the Champions-Team CPC feud tonight. He also succeeds in getting the Colonizers banned from appearing which only really scuppered Painmaster as I was thinking of booking him. I liked this idea as it led me to try and write match descriptions with lots of wrestler speak. Good to test creative juices. Unfortunately it was a DQ plagued show but at least the main matches all had decisive winners.
Heavyweight champ, Pegasus, crushed Paragon. Pegasus definetely has his mojo back. He is heavily favoured to win here. Even though there are no fans to cheer he still struts to the ring as if they are in full chorus. Everything is so audible and Paragon is easily heard shouting towards him “hurry up you maggot”. Then grows impatient at all the theatrics “quit stalling”. Thantos urges him to take Pegasus by surprise. Paragon meets him on the runway and in an outrageous show of strength grabs Pegasus and Star Warrior by their throats lifting them both off the floor. Thantos laughs and points at Star Warrior “drop that scum, I’ll take care of him”. Paragon dutifully nods and forces Pegasus into the ring. Ripping his belt off in the process. Meanwhile Thantos has a hold of his old partner “how would you like a scar like mine? They’ll call you Scar Warrior”. He fumbled around in his pocket presumably looking for a concealed object and then pulls out an ice pick. Oh the irony. But before he can get to work with it Star Warrior springs to life in an act of self preservation. The dangerous weapon goes loose and a brave official takes possession of it before it can be used. Star Warrior and Thantos are brawling with each other. Emotions were already high after the previous match and now they were rolling around on the floor. Considering all their wrestling skills it was a messy fight. The sort you might see break out in a street between two untrained fighters. More officials swarm around them and the two managers are parted and led away separately. Not to be seen again in this match. It was now just down to the 2 guys in the ring. Paragon had released Pegasus to watch this sideshow. Now his attention was on Pegasus again who was back on his feet and spluttering. Paragon beckons him “come on, let’s get this over with or you can forfeit now and save yourself a humiliation”. Pegasus bites back “your belt days are over. The CPC can no longer protect you” and rushes at Paragon. The two collide with an audible thud. Every slam and impact is magnified. There isn’t much more speak from the wrestlers themselves. In fact the next sound that is heard is just a few minutes later from Paragon. He is groaning in pain from the pressure of being put in a full nelson and shaken around. The prelude to PROJECT PEGASUS. He’d had a shocker after that dramatic start. Just making a mess of that early advantage and allowing a determined Pegasus to overwhelm him. The next big sound was a swoosh of air followed by an almighty crash into the mat as Paragon is whipped backwards into a pinning position. The ref’s pounding of the canvas echoes through the arena. There is no attempt to break out by Paragon and he is well beaten. Pegasus, remembering there is no crowd, sees any celebration as pointless. Just hastily takes back possession of his belt and departs. Brings down the curtain on a strange show. Has Paragon missed the boat this year with this failure? It’s rumoured Commissioner Morpheus will be doing all he can to keep him out the title picture. Paragon is going to have win a lot of matches to force the issue.
Chaos overpowered Bloodline. At last Bloodline is injury free and brags he is ready to cut down Chaos. It’s an intriguing match up. All part of the road towards the match everyone wants to see which is Bloodline against Alpha Force. Chaos says Bloodline’s CETUS MASTERLOCK will be useless on his huge legs. Also if Bloodline tries that silly somersault off the top rope then “I will catch you, like I am catching a ball”. Bloodline doesn’t hold back on hearing those comments “listen old man, isn’t it time you retired? You are existing on past successes. Quit now before I expose you as nothing but a lumbering big oaf”. Before Bloodline can continue the verbal exchange Thantos puts a hand on his shoulder so they can discuss tactics. Chaos decides to do the same with Star Warrior. Only that Star Warrior is in a trance. Staring at Bloodline. He’s not going to be much help here unless he can snap out of it. Bloodline catches sight of this and smiles before uttering “idiot”. Thantos angrily tells him “focus on the match. Don’t let Chaos get you in that bear hug. It will sap your energy and make it harder and harder to breathe. He’s not very quick so just keep chopping away at those legs. He’s just … watch yourself on the left”. Chaos was closing in. Thantos nips out of the ring whilst Bloodline moves right. Perfect timing as Chaos careers past him and straight into the turnbuckle. Bloodline starts well and carries out instructions with the Nebula Knee Breaker being a particular favourite. However he fails to hurt Chaos enough. Thinking he’d done enough work on the legs he tries to grapple. All downhill from here. Thantos groans as he keeps seeing BOW OF DEFEAT applied to Bloodline. Forced to intervene and risk a DQ. Gets away with it and allows Bloodline to turn the tables and get on L3O. Bloodline is still deeply inexperienced and learned nothing from earlier. He gets caught too close again and is totally overpowered. Thantos could only help so much. Managed a distraction after Indestructible Drop though was unable to stop the inevitable. Chaos inflicts a Galaxy Crusher and Bloodline was beaten. All much too easily for the liking of Thantos. His last words are “that f**king family, they’re all sh*t” before begrudgingly checking Bloodline is okay. Bloodline stumbles to his feet and as he leaves shouts “lucky move, this is not over”. Star Warrior now joined Chaos in the ring. Doesn’t look like he’s in a celebratory mood even though Chaos won. Just a single pat on the back is all he offered. Mouthing a barely audible “well done”.
Matador of M83 blows Lance At-Las away. Always good to dredge up an old feud. Both guys are confident after significant recent wins. Reynard B. Guile’s annoying voice dominates the air waves. It’s very clear the Matador doesn’t listen to a word. He’s a man of few words and continuing in that vein here. Star Warrior has chosen not to be with Lance. Understandable with 2 massive matches laying ahead. Before the pair of them can even start to grapple. B. Guile whines and gets very abrasive with the ref. Wants Lance checked for weapons. He could have no arguments if the ref decided to take action against him or the Matador. The ref refuses so B. Guile screeches “you’re not doing your job, frisk him”. He was clutching at straws and when B. Guile gives a frustrated shove the ref can no longer tolerate his presence and ejects him. The crumb of comfort for the Matador was he could now get on with things. Everyone could. After all that theatre Matador exploded out the blocks and was hitting Lance with BULLWHIP in just 3 moves. Poor Lance didn’t know what hit him and was pinned extremely fast. The Matador has quietly worked his way into Heavyweight belt contention with a run of very impressive wins. Trouble is if he does win it B. Guile might become even more insufferable.
Wolf gets badly injured in his beating Blazing Skull by DQ. Cordanus is watching these unsavoury Brymstonian elements very closely. Fair to say they, along with the Gladiators and Colonizers, are the root of the problem. Although some believe there is more to it than that and Cordanus harbours a deeper resentment for being wronged. By doing this match Wolf puts all the gossip about his Wolfpack project on the back burner. Not that he’d ever turn down a chance to face a fellow hardcore icon. Blazing Skull warns he will not hold back in this one. If the opportunity arises then Wolf will feel the full force of DEATH BY FIRE. Knowing that Maleph would be a ringside menace Lorelei offered to accompany Wolf. He refused the offer. In true Wolf style he rushes down the runway. Stopping a couple times to howl. The sound of which always penetrates fervent crowd noise only tonight it is more ear piercing than ever. On hitting the ring he was straight into Blazing. Obvious this wouldn’t last long judging by the pace of it. Sadly Blazing goes through with his threat. Managing to get on a solid offence and then trigger the full explosive force of his head. There was no way he was going to get away with it. The loudness amplified by a lack of crowd. Ref did have his back to the action due to Maleph’s distractions but he knew what had happened and issues an immediate DQ. Wolf suffers burns that need treating. Full extent of injury not clear. Blazing will be suspended for sure.
Code Enforcers over Millenium by DQ. The two Code Enforcers working together as a tag team is something the fans have been pining for. Spells trouble for Millenium. Next team on their radar will be Rebel Empire. Made very interesting by their clash with the Colonizers on the last card. However they cannot look past Colussus and Heracles. At least they don’t have to worry about Thantos who is prioritising his time for later matches. Commando Sam calls him out down the runway “come out you coward”. He just gets met with a tumbleweed blowing down it. How does that stuff always seem to appear when all is empty and quiet? The match itself is good but unspectacular. Code Enforcers in early ascendancy. The Code Enforcer Unknown thought he’d got Heracles beat with HEADS WILL ROLL. Heracles no sells then gets hot tag. After that a bit of back and forth until the action spilled outside. During which Colussus decided to take out Commando Sam with a clothesline. That increased the intensity of the brawl and everyone was involved in what became good old fashioned slugfest to the back. Back in the ring the announcer proclaimed the Code Enforcers as DQ winners. Blame for the wild brawl being apportioned to the actions of Colussus. Might have to revisit this once the Code Enforcers rivalry with the Colonizers has played out.
Ninja Assassins beat Titan Attack by DQ. Old rivals meet again. Ninjas generally superior in the past although Titan Attack is making great strides so far this year and are vying for a seat at the top table. However they took a step backwards here. Scion Nexus got cut off from his partner from the start. He took DEATH POINT STRIKE from Hydrax twice and then when was locked in Daeman Death Grip. Ursa Major tries to help his mate which draws in Hydrax. All of them start brawling. Despite Lord Nexus urging cool heads from his team they continue. The ref wades in to bring order only to get bumped from the ring. On picking himself up calls for the bell and singles out Scion Nexus. It’s true Scion was the one who bumped him although it was unintentional. Perhaps it was a fair decision though seeing as Ursa Major’s attempt at a save was the catalyst. It’s not often we see Titans getting disqualified. Darkos rubs it in “the goody two shoes Titans showing their true colours. They robbed us of a clean win”.
Supernova defeated Thrash by DQ. A contenders match. With the sudden influx of more women it could make title shots harder to come by which is a good thing. For now though the newcomers haven’t had long enough to make their mark so it’s the usual cast. Amazonia welcomes the challenge of either. Always keen to face her longtime rival Thrash. She is far friendlier with Supernova than at times in the past but will never shy away from facing her. From the opening bell it was clear Supernova was at her dazzling best. Hitting Thrash with most of her repertoire but before she could finish things off found herself dragged outside and slammed into some tables. Probably a desperation move from Thrash that was done in spur of the moment. It’s cost her a title match.
Sniper easily handled Maxine Babe. The women are now trickling into the GWF. The average wrestling fan wouldn’t necessarily know this but Sniper has links to Krakan. The specific details still unknown. It’s hard to say whether she is of a hero or heel persuasion. At the moment she seeks no allegiances and confidently says of her standing in the women’s bracket “I am like a rose among thorns, I will beat everyone and look good whilst doing it”. She makes good on that statement with a dominating victory. Never really gave Maxine any offensive time and finished her with TARGET PRACTICE. After that DM on commentary remarks “that gal can sure handle herself”. There is lots of positivity now surrounding women’s wrestling. Who knows, they might even get their own OTB tournament. One was staged a few years ago but it appeared to be a one off.

Latest News:
The Cruiserweight belt is officially no more. Prodigy’s attempts to resurrect it were pounced upon by President Cordanus. If anyone attempts to pull another stunt like that then Cordanus warns they will be banned from wrestling “I have the power to do it”. Felt sorry for Ursa Major in all that. His incredible win over Prodigy in a classic match was overshadowed and he would of been the holder. In true noble Titan style Ursa Major says of it “I’m not bitter. My heart is in tag wrestling at the moment anyway. I want to win the belts with Scion Nexus above any individual glory”.
Lord Nexus has a heated meeting with Commissioner Morpheus. Twice in as many months the Terrorists have helped Draconian Sheik defeat Rising Sun with the latest match resulting in the loss of the IP belt. He wants them to be banned from appearing at ringside. Hitting a nerve when he suggests Morpheus is scared of doing anything with Cordanus breathing down his neck. Morpheus reportedly pounded his fists on the table before being overheard shouting back “your lucky I didn’t suspend your guy for that assault afterwards. Our heroes are supposed to set an example. Now get out of my office before I suspend you”.
Big moment coming for Blade. Receiving an IP title shot. A lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone into getting to this point. He did manage a very brief reign a few years ago. Although that was largely regarded as a fluke. Whereas this is seen as his coming of age moment. It will be a very dangerous task facing Draconian Sheik especially considering how violent the Terrorists have been of late. Lorelei vows to stand shoulder to shoulder with her son. It would be amazing to share what could be a very popular title win.
The Wolfpack has its first member and assignment. Incredibly it’s Mayhem. After Spike failed to qualify Wolf decided he wanted to get this new team up and running. So he decided the last guy to beat him would get the honour. Looking back through the records I could see that was Mayhem. So Wolf put the offer out and Mayhem agreed. Maybe these two have taken too many bumps on the head over the years. Surely it can’t end amicably. Archon is really worried about this but doesn’t want to rock the boat. Just hoping Wolf gets it out his system soon and focuses properly on being a member of the Centaurians. They aim high straight away as they will face Rebel Empire. That will be an amazing match. This all happened before Wolf got badly burned by Blazing Skull. Mercifully Wolf’s injuries were not as bad as first thought. It will take 5 cards for the burns to fully heal although Wolf refuses to rest. He will wrestle through the pain. Amazonia said of Wolf “he’ll go stir crazy if he can’t wrestle”. In a strange way this might help Archon ‘warm’ to Wolf. Suddenly Wolf becomes the recipient of these terrible incidents. Better him than Blade or Archon. Commissioner Morpheus knew President Cordanus would be expecting disciplinary action. He declares Blazing Skull must serve an 8 card suspension. Maleph responds “typical witch hunt against Brymstonians. We are misunderstood. When are people going to understand violence and disorder is a fun and healthy outlet”.
Max Shield is at rock bottom. Losing to Wraith was bad but to suffer same fate against the ageing Soldier of Fortune is worse. Just don’t understand it. This guy should be a main eventer and of enjoyed a belt laden career. Yet after almost a decade in the GWF he has never held one. The only thing that might cheer him up is to see the mounting enemies Mandrill is building up. The Colonizers at the moment are the number 1 target of the Code Enforcers. That’s something that will make anyone uncomfortable.
Thantos and Team CPC are licking their wounds. They have lost more key matches this month. Bloodline’s loss to Chaos was tough to take but the most damaging was Paragon failing so miserably in his title match with Paragon. Thantos might be panicking inside but outwardly he is still confidently predicting victory in his feud with the FDF and the Champions and warns “we are like a wounded animal and that’s a very dangerous thing for our enemies”.
Mandrill is frustrated that so far it’s mainly been the Colonizers suffering bans from cards by President Cordanus. He says “you’re barking up the wrong tree if you think we are the problem. The Colonizers bring order in a peaceful way. Suggest you look closer Commando Sam. That guy is a fruitcake in possession of walk too much power”.
INJURED – Wolf (5); SUSPENDED – Blazing Skull (8)
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
WOLF - He’s everywhere at the moment. May of ended the month badly burned at the hands of Blazing Skull. For Wolf the pain was well worth it as he chalked up victories over Spike and Blazing Skull.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
THEATRE OF PAIN - Never fail to put on a show. They were a great team anyway but under the guidance of Johnny Rocket are looking even better. Johnny is delighted with his tag teams. He has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal.

CARD 1065 – REGULUS CIVIC STADIUM:
Ladies champ, Amazonia, beats Supernova by DQ in a baffling decision. Their loose friendship continually gets tested. Time and time again they are contesting the title. Could this live up to their match 3 months ago when Amazonia won the belt? That was a 5* classic. Supernova admits it will be a mammoth task ahead given the way Amazonia has been wrestling lately. Sadly this match never gets near that. If I was in the habit of awarding stars to every match I wouldn’t of even given it 1. They’d barely got into the swing of things when the bell rang out of nowhere. Supernova was disqualified. Even Amazonia went mad over this. The ref just said it was for a contravention of rules without elaborating further. DM speculates that this could be the murky work of Cordanus trying to ruin key matches “there have been rather a lot of disqualifications lately”.
Rebel Empire crushed the Wolfpack. Never could we of expected Wolf and Mayhem to be a tag team. It is incredible. Wolf says “we still hate each other but I want to win the tag belts and don’t care who I achieve it with”. Unfortunately Wolf is still badly injured from burns inflicted last week by Blazing Skull. He refuses to be a sissy and withdraw. The fans show mixed levels of enthusiasm. It’s hard to cheer fully for a team when it contains a hero and villain. Wolf’s ailments prove too much to be competitive. He launched into an amazing start locking Vendetta in SAVAGE FACE CLAW in mere seconds and then smashing Vendetta and Tocsin’s heads together when interference occurred. Vendetta powerfully kicked out after this though and Wolf just broke down from this point on. Mayhem was being kept occupied by both Nefarus and Tocsin whilst Wolf was dismantled. He hung on as long as he could but BIG FALL (x2) and EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT left him in a bit of a mess. Colonizer Claw Grip finished him soon after. Mayhem just left Wolf to it and departed. But not before wrapping his chain around Sentry and dragging him partly down the runway before releasing. This actually won him approval from some of the crowd.
Mad Jester destroyed Defender of the Realm. This is dominated by Jester handing Defender a gift. He says “you are my clone, we are more than brothers. I want you to accept this gift”. Despite all the warning signs being there a natural curiosity leads to the box being opened by Defender. It explodes with clown face paint. Defender tries to wipe it off and angrily screws up his face. Jester is frolicking and shouts “relax, I was just clowning around. You look great”. Commando Sam chimes in from outside “don’t listen to that buffoon. Make him pay”. Doomsayer doesn’t stay quiet either and teases “give in, become a second Jester”. Sam instantly responds “shut it before I lay you out”. Doomsayer welcomes Sam to take him on and starts backing down the runway. Sam is caught with emotion and walks into the trap. For at the end of the runway Transformer had lingered since their last match. They pounce and take care of Sam. Defender was now left to his own devices. Doomsayer spent much of the time now trying to get into his mind. Defender struggles to ignore him and get on with wrestling. Gets totally owned as a result. Jester inflicted Jagged Edge Standing Kick many times. There were also what seemed to be record amount of deathjumps. However the finishing move with the spiteful A DEAD MAN’S VERSE. The ref got a bit of heckling from the crowd. He’d let that move go three times. Even DM on commentary was getting worked up “maybe the ref thinks this a Titan Death match”. Luckily Jester got his just desserts as Splatter and Vyper show their unpredictability with a lottery attack. Doomsayer was taken down by Vyper whilst Splatter entered the ring and knocked Jester out with Arsenal. The sequence ended with a poisonous looking snake being allowed to roam the ring. Finally slithering over Jester as it honed in on the body warmth.
Transformer devoured Malice and Spike. Doomsayer is desperate that his monstrous creations start striking fear into the GWF. Their debut loss to ‘Titans’ still irritates him. Nothing a win over a pair of Gladiators can’t put right. Unfortunately the presence of Brute makes this an even harder task and Doomsayer knows he cannot get into a ringside confrontation with him. He’d almost certainly be pulverised. This isn’t the first time teacher and student have teamed. Spike and Malice have been known as Aethran Dominance in the past. However their link ups are rare nowadays and the name had been dropped. It was quite obvious they weren’t in sync as the Gladiators suffer an embarrassment. Spike got absolutely battered. From the moment Nth Degree split his head with Nut Cracker he was in trouble. Monad kept the pain going with two applications of SURFBOARD SUBMISSION. A younger Spike might have been able to comeback from such a mauling. However he was in no state to even try and tag out. I decided not to roll on Brute’s interference chart during all this. Stick with the normal one for now. I reason Brute will save that more meaningful matches. Perhaps as a way to prevent a title being lost should a Gladiator be holding one. But maybe he should of as his interfering didn’t do much to change the course of things. Malice was also ineffective. Cutting a frustrated figure as Nth Degree beat Spike with PIN USING ROPES. Brute was disgusted at the showing and stomped to the exit. Behind the curtain his temper could be heard as crashes are heard as if heavy items are being thrown around.
Thrash too strong for Taechon. Despite being gender neutral Taechon is having trouble getting women to wrestle after choosing to compete in the division. Anaxis says she/he holds an unfair advantage which is not really true as Taechon’s physical abilities don’t really change. Overall he/she is quite weak by GWF standards. Thankfully Thrash relishes the challenge. Thrash could do with a win as needs a pick me up. She is not having Brute accompany her to matches. I suppose a sign that Aethrans still do not treat women as equals in their war mongering society. Taechon shows some impressive stuff to rock Thrash. A jumping spin kick and an Aikido Smash we’re the highlights and led to pin attempts. Soon after Taechon missed a deathjump and it was all downhill from there. Thrash destroyed her after that and ultimately used FEMME FATAL to win. Post match Thrash declares herself unimpressed with this new wave of women wrestlers and vows to destroy them all.
Matador of M83 dominated Antak. Matador warming up for his big meeting with Pegasus at end of the month with what, on paper, looked a squash match and so it proved. Antak is pretty hopeless when tag teaming but he was even more so in a singles setting. Matador just toyed with him for a few minutes until unleashing BULLWHIP to put Antak out of his misery. Reynard B. Guile drove fans mad throughout with his constant bragging that they were looking at the next Heavyweight champion and how it would make him the greatest manager of all.

CARD 1066 – REGULUS CIVIC STADIUM:
Desolation Factor defeated Twin Blood to become new tag team champions. Twin Blood look cool as cucumbers even when faced with the rejuvenated Rack and Ruin. Interestingly these are 2 hero tag teams that walk the fine line between hero and villain. To minimise risk of any unpleasantness Commando Sam and Johnny Rocket have a gentleman’s agreement not to appear at ringside. Twin Blood were all over them in the beginning. Ruin the recipient of their double teaming. Rack wasn’t going to stand idly by whilst Ruin took all that punishment. He stormed the ring and knocked everyone over like tenpins. The ref tried to scold Desolation Factor for this. He was dwarfed by these 2 behemoths but said his piece with authority. Luckily he realises calling a DQ wouldn’t benefit anybody and lets it continue. Rack had definitely levelled the playing field with that though. He was then able to get into the ring and lay siege to Dreggs. An X-treme Slam shakes the ring and Dreggs is winded and pinned. Sleeze just didn’t smell the danger so no pin save was attempted. Maybe Twin Blood tangling with Disorder X earlier on had an affect. What a difference a year makes for Desolation Factor. Doomsayer will be sick to his stomach at seeing them as tag champions. Of course Desolation Factor will get very little time to savour this. Teams like Transformer and the Gladiators will be gunning for them. Not to mention the fact that Twin Blood will be feeling they have a right to a rematch. It’s given Commissioner Morpheus a lot to think about.
Ninja Assassins impressive in their beating of Theatre of Pain. If it wasn’t for the fact Twin Blood are the tag champs then Theatre of Pain could possibly be top contenders. Johnny Rocket is managing both teams. All they can do is maintain their good form and be ready should Twin Blood get dethroned. However it is not easy to stay near the top and the Ninjas are confident again having just beaten another hot tag team in Titan Attack. They become the ones that maintain their winning form. It heralds the beginning of a bad night for Johnny Rocket. Comedy falls victim to DOUBLE EDGE SWORD in a matter of a few minutes. Poetic justice as Tragedy had narrowly avoided to losing to the same move in the first minute. Comedy had rescued him. Darkos thinks the Ninja Assassins have done more than enough for another tilt at the tag belts but with Doomsayer heavily pushing Transformer they may have to defer.
Buck Steele/Genocide overcomes Anarchy. Rumours that Buck Steele even when he’s not being Genocide is getting more bolshy. He wants to bang down the Commissioner’s door and demand a title shot. Thinks having beaten a big fish like Mandrill a few weeks ago gives him the right. Vertigo is not agreeing with that especially with a hero as the sitting champ. At the moment they agree to disagree. Fingers crossed it all stays amicable. Meanwhile Anarchy is under pressure from Maleph to deliver a big result. Maleph was not happy with the way Anarchy went down to Wolf several weeks ago. He says “prove yourself by busting up Genocide, then do the same to those Centaurians”. Unusually for Buck these days it takes a long, long time for him to change into Genocide. In his weaker self Buck was actually ultra competitive and even peppered Anarchy with ROPE-A-DOPE FLURRY at one point. Once the change happened the outcome seemed inevitable. Anarchy is very tough and hung with Genocide for a good while before eventually going down to station to station head into the buckles. Maleph tried to fly in for a save but was swatted away. The outcome will only encourage Buck to make more belt overtures. Vertigo might have to try to convince him the IP belt is a better target. This headache aside Vertigo will be pleased that his team his performed quite well on this show going 2-1 in their matches.
Max Shield stops the rot as he beats Painmaster by DQ. Max desperately needing a change in fortunes. His shock recent loss to Soldier of Fortune was probably the lowest point of his career. Thankfully the fans have never abandoned him. Many of them recognise he needs spirits lifted and start a loud “Max, Max, Max” chant. The way he began though didn’t inspire confidence. Painmaster was superior for several minutes. Then yet another ref bump happened (10 moves) and things changed. During this Max was placed in THE TORTURE RACK for the second time in the match. However Painmaster was forced to release due to there being no ref. As he tried to kick the poor guy into life Max wakes from his wrestling slumber and forces himself to stand. Painmaster goes down under a wave of attacks that included MAXIMUM IMPACT. By the time that a new ref comes in Max’s momentum was lost a little. However it was much more even now. A few more minutes back and forth until Max gets another surge going. Flattening Painmaster with his finisher again. However he is denied the pin victory by Sentry rushing in with an attack having missed with his stun gun blast. Thankfully Vertigo is able to zip in and assist Max from getting ganged up on. Amid all this the announcer proclaims Max the victor by DQ. Not quite the style of win he might of wanted or felt he deserved but hopefully it’s the first step on the road to recovery.
Wraith defeated Blizzard by DQ. The start of a significant presence of the Genesis team on the show. Can Blizzard give them the kickstart they desperately need? It wouldn’t be easy against turncoat Wraith. Emotions are so high this had DQ written all over it. Blizzard started with high intensity although Wraith then slowed him down with PHANTOM JACKHAMMER. Wraith then drops his advantage by clattering the ref. Whilst trying to rouse the fella Blizzard comes up behind with a roll up. An easy kickout for Wraith but that ref bump was the catalyst for things to get more out of control. Blizzard was soon throwing Wraith from the ring and grabbing the nearest thing to attack with. Happened to be an official sitting on a chair. The poor chap was thrown in the direction of Wraith. Instant DQ. Vertigo expects a fine and possible suspension for Blizzard’s loss of control. He was right as within a few hours of the show ending he received an email from Commissioner Morpheus informing of a 3 card suspension for Blizzard.
Skinhead crushed Brainstorm in under a minute. Brainstorm chooses Darla tonight “I need a rest from Maxine Babe, she can be a real bossy boots”. Skinhead vows to beat him up so bad that even an airhead like Darla won’t be wanting him. You see, Skinhead is pretty p*ssed. One minute he’s flying high as the IP champ. Next minute he’s no longer champ and a forgotten man. In his words “someone’s going to pay”. Brainstorm was ogling Darla as she climbed through the ropes. Just as he was giving her derrière the chef’s kiss Skinhead swoops in with an undercut. Brainstorm falls backwards into the turnbuckle and sits against it. Skinhead then goads “you want something to kiss?” He offers up his own backside before using it as an instrument to back into Brainstorm’s head forcefully. Less than a minute after that he is being proclaimed winner via Skinhead’s Sleeper. Disorder X then swoop in to attack Skinhead. Probably some Colby cash behind this. Luckily Twin Blood are defending the tag belts later on. They join the fracas and we get a big brawl to the back involving around. Well almost. Brainstorm was groggy and lagging behind. I think this calls for a 6 man tag match in the near future between all the protagonists.

Every now and then I update my belt history. Here's a rundown of longest reigning champions in card length. This includes my Early Classics fed which connected with this fed (separate thread for all that). Where a champion held a belt in that era I have denoted EC next to it. Generally 48 cards is 1 year. However in Early Classics I ran 12 cards a year for quite a few of these. Think in the latter years I may of upped to 24 cards, struggle to remember. As soon as I hit 2087 it was a full 48 card per year schedule (4 per month). Bear in mind with this Omega and the Gamemasters are a long way out in front in terms of time duration. Omega's listed reign would of been close to 3 years! The Interstellar belt is what the Interplanetary title was called before it changed name. Maybe around 2092 approx. In terms of lineage I consider them separate titles. Just the way I do it. I have had loads of other titles such as War Games belts but won't list all that here. Although CPC fed war ended at card 1056 I have done a list for these too

CARD 1067 – SATURDAY NIGHT STARSLAMMERS – MIRA GALAXY DOME:
So much heat as Bloodline is wrestling in the famed Mira Galaxy Dome on Cetus. His father, Omega, watches from afar. Makes for a tense atmosphere. It’s a busy timetable as between matches there are several significant interviews taking place in the ring. Read more in the latest news section for the fallout on one of them. There was also some involvement from President Cordanus. Again he bans the Colonizers from a show. This affects the planned Hydra Lumberjack match between Code Enforcer Manslaughter and Mandrill. So I had to make a switch there. I’m still going to try and get this match played. So I’ll find a spot for it next month. Unless Cordanus does another ban and if that happens I’ll just accept it wasn’t meant to be!
Heavyweight champ, Pegasus, beats Matador of M83 with surprising ease. Two legendary rivals renew acquaintances to contest the top prize. Begins with Reynard B. Guile twisting the knife and taunting Star Warrior about his father. Deciding now is a good time to remind him about how B. Guile shocked the ageing Omega in a career ending match almost 20 years ago. Yes that really did happen. Pegasus cuts him off by throwing him over the top rope which pleased the fans. Leans over the rope “nobody cares about the past, I am the future of this fed”. The Matador does zilch. No concern for his manager. Just wanted to get started and maybe wear the Heavyweight belt again. However that dream was shattered very fast. Pegasus has him beat in a mere 6 moves with PROJECT PEGASUS doing the deed. B. Guile’s desperate attempt to distract was fruitless. He hadn’t expected this to happen as quickly as it did and was late to the party. He’d only just picked himself up from what Pegasus did to him when the finisher took place. Pegasus looks down on his beaten rival and says “thank you, that was fun as always. I’ll never get tired of beating you”. Psychologically this defeat will be hard to process for the Matador. He’s been around for a long time and might soon find his chances of wearing the Heavyweight belt less and less. Maybe the IP belt is a more realistic target but he thinks he is above all that now despite his past pedigree. Remember he is the all time longest reign with it at 96 cards. A side note is that Star Warrior was observed to be doing a lot of twitching during this short match. Some of his friends think he is close to being pushed over the edge. He could easily flip out or just walk away and wash his hands of all responsibility.
Millenium inflict a damaging defeat on Alpha Power in a match with Massif as ref. Always a popular move to get Massif refereeing. Nobody can control a match like he can. Which is just as well because the eyes of the UFSP are on virtually everything the GWF does. Animosity between the Champions and Team CPC are at an all time high with the whole Bloodline business. He’d already done plenty to incite the Cetus crowd. By the time Millenium came out things had got rowdy. Usually these are among the more peaceful people in the known cosmos so this was really saying something about the anti feeling. Thantos was missing this time. Anaxis accompanying Millenium instead. Star Warrior looks irritated by his absence. As if he wanted another confrontation. Unfortunately he would only get more irritated by the outcome. Millenium managing to silence the crowd by beating their heroes. It was quite an even battle until Heracles made a breakthrough with OLYMPIA on Chaos. The big man took a couple of them and they gradually weakened him. By the time a third came he was unable to recover and got pinned. Massif showed their is no favouritism by stopping Star Warrior trying to distract. A bitter pull to swallow for the Champions team. They hope this night doesn’t become a nightmare by Pegasus losing later on in the main event.
Dark Justice destroyed Wolf in a Titan Death match. Another Wolfpack qualifier. New wrinkle is that if Justice wins then he will replace Mayhem as a member. Everyone still scratching their heads on Wolf’s schedule. He is still crocked. Burns still not healed and far from out of the woods. Wolf tries to make a high energy start and mask his injuries but mistakes were already creeping in. When Wolf tries a turnbuckle smash he is too slow and runs straight into it. The momentum caused him to strike his head on the post. Far too easy for Justice after that. Soon after using SHOCK PROBATION to finish him off. Justice then casts doubt on whether he would join the Wolfpack declaring him unimpressed with Wolf’s abilities “might make me look bad if he’s lost his edge”. It gets worse for Wolf as Mayhem exacerbates his injuries after the match by coming out and attacking him. Thankfully before he gets his chain out security guys storm the ring and take Mayhem down. Mayhem is ushered away but shouts back “you must of been stark raving mad to trust me. I still hate you. But if you want to team up again just give me a call”. Weird.
Bloodline over Lance At-Las by count-out. Not much crowd sympathy towards Bloodline. When they fail to cheer he shouts out “I hope you all rot in hell” and then proceeds to spit over the barriers. A disgusting act. Thantos looks quietly satisfied alongside. He thrives on the hostility. Surprisingly there were some isolated cheers. Bloodline has quite a bit of charisma and there are always a few in any part of the cosmos that go against grain and love a good villain. This match presents a chance to give Lance At-Las payback for beating him on his debut. Star Warrior was making plenty of noise. He wanted to grapple with Thantos and was needing to be restrained by officials. When the commotion dies down and the two wrestlers finally lock horns it’s Lance on top. The blip against the Matador aside he is determined to keep his good start to the year going. Bloodline takes a while to get going but when he does he used CETUS MASTERLOCK a few times to affect Lance’s mobility. Then comes a ref bump needing a replacement. Whilst that was being sorted out Lance might of been denied a win after MARS MANHANDLER. Bloodline was let off the hook and quickly turned it around to the point he could potentially finish it off with BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG. The new ref had slid into the ring just in time. Only Bloodline misses and hurts himself. Did Star Warrior give him a nudge? Thantos certainly thought so and the two managers argued. The ref was distracted by this. So he didn’t see Bloodline resort to use of a chair after he’d crawled out of the ring after missing his big move. Lance was trying to keep the pressure on and went down like a sack off spuds when struck. For good measure Bloodline went up on the apron and came off with a drop kick just as Lance was trying to drag himself to his feet. Having sorted out the managers the ref saw Lance down and laid on the count. Lance couldn’t make it back. Both Star Warrior and Thantos were as confused as the ref. They hadn’t seen what took place either. Crowd booing off the charts as Bloodline claims a tainted win.
Archon digs deep to shock Vengeance. The role of Vengeance is under some scrutiny. Still claims to be the Gladiator team leader yet he now takes orders from Brute. He’s also not happy his matches are not taking greater billing importance. Believes he is a main event guy. The match placement smack bang in the middle of the show not to his liking. He would of liked the outcome even less. In a cracking contest Archon deals with some vicious punishment mainly via Eye Cleaver to surge back and beat Vengeance with ARCHON SLEEPER CLAMP. Brute tried and failed to stop Vengeance falling victim to the move. Behind the scenes in Aethra there are thoughts of pushing Thunder more. He is being groomed for a singles run and could easily take Vengeance’s place as the main guy. Especially if results don’t improve for him.
Code Enforcer Manslaughter defeated Mike Fortune. Decent match but a shadow of what it was supposed to be. Mandrill had been due to face the Code Enforcer in a Hydra Lumberjack match until Cordanus banned the Colonizers again. Rather than go a match short the GWF levers Mike Fortune in at the last minute. He’d been skulking around even though he wasn’t originally booked. It also brought Commando Sam and Krakan into conflict. There is no love lost between those two. In the Early Classics era they had quite the feud partly because they were both using the Commander name. It was a feud to find who the true Commander was. All these years Sam claims he won but Krakan disputes that and says he only changed his moniker to Invincible Krakan as it sounded better. Anyway Sam gets one up here as the Code Enforcer comes through for the victory. Hard work though as Mike Fortune stubbornly refused to beaten easily despite feeling both finishers. As the long match threatened to go to a time limit expiry Code Enforcer launched one last furious offensive wave. It was enough to get it won with CODE CROWBAR doing the critical damage. Mike Fortune did pretty well here considering he wouldn’t of been prepared.
Cygnus Strikeforce defeated Titan Attack. Both teams have suffered setbacks after strong starts to the year. As with most teams Cygnus Strikeforce have faced so far branding is on the agenda. Mangus declares all Titans to be friends of Earth and they will not be spared. Things don’t go too swimmingly in the early minutes though. Titan Attack is totally in control and threatening to blow them away. Maelstrom had his partner to thank for saving him after TWIN HAZARDS. The favour was returned after SHOTGUN CRADLE was used against US. Traitor. After these let offs Cygnus Strikeforce grows into the match and gets stronger. Ursa Major got cut off and a torrid sequence of CYGNUS STRIKFORCE (x2) and ANNIHILATOR EDGE has him beat. Instantly Mangus triggers the heating element on his arm plate. Ursa Major was set to be branded. However Lord Nexus wasn’t about to let that happen. Showing he can still move quickly he comes in and rugby tackles Mangus. Meanwhile Scion Nexus takes care of Traitor. Lord Nexus and Ursa Major are then able to brand Maelstrom instead. Maelstrom gives a sickening scream as the plate meets his flesh. Massive crowd pop for this. So far Mangus hasn’t succeeded in branding anybody but his own wrestlers!
Sniper destroyed Supernova. Big opportunity for Sniper to propel herself among the female elite straight away. She’d destroyed Maxine Babe on her debut but now faces a real test against arguably the best female wrestler in history. Sniper didn’t waste the opportunity. She was relentless. There were 4 pin attempts in the first 7 moves! Supernova clung on through that and was still expected to manufacture a victory only she couldn’t get any rhythm. Sniper launcher a second big wave a few minutes later that included TARGET PRACTICE twice and got the win. Supernova later admitted “I underestimated her big time”.

CARD 1068 – EUROPA GARDEN:
Show was ticking along nicely. No UFSP presence anywhere to cause awkwardness. That was until the main event got scrambled for viewers across the cosmos. Cordanus had silently struck. Managing to declare its violence unsuitable and getting officials to enter the broadcast station.
Interplanetary champ, Draconian Sheik, butchered Blade in a Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage match. Blade didn’t see this coming. Didn’t proof read the contract. If he was going to pull off the title win he’d have do it the hard way inside a barbed cage. He has received plaudits for the way he’s started 2109. Blade is glad of the praise but says it means nothing if he doesn’t win a belt this year. Unfortunately he will have to wait a bit longer for that. 9 tokens in total is testament to how bloody this was. Blade gave a great effort but Drac was too at home inside the barbed cage. When Blade missed a deathjump splash he just laid there as blood loss overcame him. Drac then saw enough sense to turn him over for the pin. Who needs the Terrorists help anyway? Poor Blade suffered several deep lacerations and was injured for 6 cards as a result of this. Little did anyone inside the venue know that this match had been taken off air. People had to rely on Spacebook updates later in the evening for all the gory details.
Rebel Empire get the better of the Code Enforcers in a cage match. Rebel Empire must be mad getting into a cage with the Code Enforcers especially Manslaughter. However they manage to pull off a sensational victory which will propel them back into the top tier of tag teams. The air of invincibility Manslaughter has built is dispelled as he is the Code Enforcer that is beaten after EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT. Rebel Empire choosing to pin him as their route to victory rather than have Nefarus escape. It was a wise decision as Vendetta was able to cover his partner against any pin save attempt and he didn’t get left alone in the cage at the end. The Code Enforcers won’t be deterred by the loss though. Sam’s orders are to deal with the Colonizers and they will just keep coming for them again and again regardless of results.
Thunder and Overkill over Twin Blood by DQ. The Gladiators building towards a collision course with the rejuvenated Desolation Factor. To get there they could do with winning this. Knowing the importance they bring out the big guns as Brute replaces Thrash at ringside. Thinking that might be a permanent thing now. Twin Blood are hurting over the loss of their tag titles. Dreggs says they have to put things right and not feel sorry for themselves. Trouble is that’s easier said than done against the Gladiators. They struggled against the immense power of Thunder and Overkill. If Sleeze hadn’t of picked up a chair to get himself disqualified they would surely of been pulverised. It was certainly looking that way. The outcome gets Thunder and Overkill closer to Desolation Factor. They will face the Ninja Assassins next with the winning team going onto challenge them.
Prodigy dazzles to beat Enigma. Times like this make it a shame the Cruiserweight belt no longer exists. However these two are still capable of winning belts. Certainly can be in the mix for the Interplanetary title at least. A degree of pressure exists on Prodigy’s shoulders as Team CPC is playing catch up in its feuds with both the Champions and FDF. Enigma found life very tough as Prodigy is in unbelievable form. He is well conditioned to absorb lots of punishment and storm back but nonetheless THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER 6 times is probably too much for anyone to take. He eventually yielded to the move. Incredibly the match had kept the two warring managers quiet. They got totally transfixed on the amazing moves on display. Not a peep out of them. Well not until the end anyway. For as Prodigy was proclaimed winner Star Warrior then went totally out of character and smashed him down from behind with a chair. He was totally apologetic for his actions in the aftermath citing a momentary loss of control. Prodigy suffered a 2 card injury as a result. Strangely Thantos was very happy for this happening as it shows “we have got inside Star Warrior’s head”.
Splatter beats Mutant by count-out. Carnage guaranteed. Will be a miracle if it’s not a DQ finish. Mutant does much better than expected. Even causing Splatter distress with TEMPLE GRINDER a couple of times. It then managed to survive THE SHREDDER three times in a row. But just as the commentary team got excited at the prospect of an upset Mutant went and left the ring. A fan had brought a chicken bucket close to the front row. Mutant got the scent and wanted a piece. It got counted-out as Lord Nexus battled to bring it under control. Afterwards there are suggestions that Lord Nexus is having far too much of his time taken up with Mutant. His intentions are admirable but there is concern it could damage the team long term.
Vyper gains huge assistance to beat Rising Sun. Both Lethal Lottery guys temporarily released from the shackles of tag team wrestling. First up is Vyper. His opponent, Rising Sun, is very wary of the Terrorists. He has had plenty of problems with them already this year. Due to a problem with Mutant it means Lord Nexus is not appearing at ringside with Rising Sun. On colour commentary Vanity claims Nexus has chickened out. DM counters him by saying “my old mate Rising can cope just fine”. That’s certainly true if Rising brings his A game but the big bugbear is he is very inconsistent. Sadly he suffers greatly at the hands of the Terrorists. After a struggling start he gets momentum enough to try SUNSET SPECTACULAR only to get powder thrown in his face. Then later he got attacked by them on the outside after threatening another turnaround. He was never going to get a break. VYPER’S SIDESHOW three times during the bout meant his token count was ticking dangerously high. Eventually he falls to a Predator Pounce. DM on commentary was really ticked off with the ref “the guy missed everything”.

‘STARS OF THE GALAXY - VOLUME 14’ released.
Cannot believe this popular digital download is still going so strong. The fans love the unusual matches plucked from dark shows that fill the tape. However it’s the skits that get included that often get enjoyed most of all. This release continues that tradition … First skit centred on Doomsayer’s laboratory. Not worried that this might bring unto him more investigations he invites a camera crew in. There are all sorts gadgets, pods and Transevolver replicas. Plus like anyone would expect of a scientist there are test tubes filled with various brightly coloured liquids and potions bubbling away. However it is the sight of about a dozen midget clones buzzing around carrying out chores and experiments that is most shocking. Seems he might of done more than just clone the Mad Jester. Doomsayer takes great pride in taking the crew around and bragging although he refuses to reveal many of his secrets. He warns things haven’t even got started yet and his greatest achievement is yet to come … A somber turn for the tape. It was recently the 6th anniversary of Crossfire’s death. Time has passed so quickly. The GWF wanted to make sure this bright young talent is never forgotten and put together a short highlights reel. In such a short time he achieved so much and was surely destined for a stellar career. Remembering he was already a tag team champion with Archon as part of Centaurus Cluster. They never lost them and that is why Crossfire was buried with his half of the titles. The reel ended on that incredible moment when they won them. He is seen holding aloft the belt before the scene fades to black … Now for what we thought would be some light heartedness as Lord Nexus continues his attempts to try and domesticate Mutant. He remains convinced that Doomsayer can help restore Montrol. In the interim Lord Nexus is treating Mutant like a normal being and doing everyday things. He takes Mutant to Terak’s Savage Kingdom Zoo. Terak is now in the CPC but remains popular in the GWF. He has a few problems but makes sure to welcome his old mate with welcome arms. Sadly the experiment doesn’t go too well. Mutant runs riot and tries to wrestle a bear before then clashing with Dark Star Creature. Remember that thing? It is still alive and allowed to roam the zoo. In the end Mutant had to be restrained with a chain and temporarily caged. A few animals were left injured and Lord Nexus was left apologising profusely to Terak. His mate, through gritted teeth, accepts the apology but suggests it might be wise to leave as quick as possible … Finally it’s shopping tips with Nora Pelf. She is used to the finest things in life and still has considerable wealth. Only now that is of little importance. Her outlook has changed and she finds flaunting her money distasteful. Not when there is so much poverty throughout the cosmos. So she takes the viewers on a trip through a market on Earth. Bartering for deals and showing it’s possible to look a million dollars on a shoestring budget. That’s not all though as she finishes the segment by making a considerable charitable donation.
Wolf crushed Tortured Soul. Whilst most wrestlers carrying injuries rest up or tone their schedule right down Wolf has gone bonkers and done the opposite. Barely a card has gone by without him on the bill. Nobody can hold him back. Unfortunately his injuries have reflected in the results with painful losses. However his injuries are now downgraded to minor and Tortured Soul was not expected to pose a problem and so it proved. It is over in just 4 moves. Wolf countered Tortured Soul’s first offensive move and shortly after went for the pin after a Cobra Clutch Suplex. Probably surprising it ended on this move as Tortured Soul, if nothing else, is usually able to take lots of punishment. His zombie mind state very much behind this. Maleph tried to dive bomb Wolf in retaliation for the outcome. Wolf successfully got a hold and pulled him to ground level. Managing to then corner Maleph but rather than cause any harm he snarls “I’m going to let you go because I want you intact to deliver a message to Blazing Skull. The only thing he ignited when trying to injure me was my anger. He is now my number one target”.
Disorder X dominated Third Planet. The tag division is strong and unpredictable. Lots of teams doing well and jockeying for position. Both of these teams are looking to step into that category. Grunge is still bummed that Disorder X isn’t already being given title shots. Especially so when Twin Blood were the sitting champs. Also the fact Disorder X abdicated the CPC belts when the two brands officially split he feels it should be a no brainer that they’d be among the top contenders. Winning here might help their cause but of course there are no guarantees. Anyway they were well in control. Aside from a few meaty moves from Mike Fortune in the first minute it’s all Disorder X. They link up to put Tough Guy away with DECIMATION. Krakan cut a frustrated figure on the outside. He’d hoped Third Planet would be on a par with the Mercenaries when they were in their prime. However it’s looking like Fortune and Tough Guy are better singles wrestlers than they are tag team partners. Will Krakan persist with the pairing?
Soldier of Fortune beats Dreadnaught with ease. Cruel jibe from Vanity on commentary about these two “did someone forget to lock the gates at the old folks home?” It’s true that they are washed up but they have so much history both partnering and opposing each other. Sometimes guys with superstar stats wrestling isn’t a recipe for a great match although maybe two vets who probably should of retired by now isn’t either. Clearly time has been kinder to Soldier of Fortune. He is in the better condition and easily beats Dreadnaught via a Misfortune Mauler. As he is about to he looks back at his partner and foe. Dreadnaught is struggling to get back up and needing to use the ropes. For a moment it looked as if Soldier of Fortune had some sympathy and might help him out. The moment passes quickly though as he then just gives a dismissive wave and leaves Dreadnaught to fend for himself. Poor Dreadnaught just about gets himself away from the crowd glare. Looking more and more with every passing week that he could kick the bucket at anytime.
Desolation Factor beats Transformer by DQ. Surely a bigger battle between these 2 teams is destined for a supercard. However they did meet for the first time during this past month. It was before Desolation Factor captured the tag belts. Probably best that it was low key because it lasted just 1 move! Ruin caught Monad by surprise straight away and nailed him with Power Bomb Ruins. Given Monad’s weakness for escaping pins Doomsayer doesn’t want to take any chances. Entering the ring and causing a distraction that allowed Nth Degree to lay siege to Ruin. It triggered a huge brawl to the back which even Commando Sam jumped in on. The disgruntled ref laid all blame for the carnage on Doomsayer and disqualifies Transformer.
Code Enforcer Unknown over Painmaster by DQ. Painmaster has felt the random banning of wrestlers and groups by President Cordanus hardest of all. Probably just relieved to have the freedom to wrestle. Although he doesn’t rein in his dastardly behaviour. Trying to attack the Code Enforcer in the runway and unmask him. His attempts fail. Commando Sam was present this time and helped the Code Enforcer protect his identity. In fact this match was marred by the guys at ringside. When Code Enforcer delivered HEADS WILL ROLL he then got shot down by Sentry. When Painmaster administered THE TORTURE RACK Sam stormed in to break it up. Never a surprise to see Sam getting hands on unlike his fellow hero managers. The ref was getting pretty fed up and both wrestlers had probably now used up all their lives. When Sentry put the boot into the Code Enforcer on the outside of the ring the threshold had been reached and a disqualification got ruled.
Ms. Liberty emerges with a rare win over Serpentine. The demonic Serpentine takes to solo action. However her partner, Hunger, never strays far and stalks the ringside area. Ms. Liberty, perhaps foolishly, declined Commando Sam’s offer to be with her and offer not only guidance but protection. He could of prevented Hunger disturbing a possible pin victory after THE LIBERATOR. Hunger was able to enter the ring, do some damage and slink off. Serpentine failed to take full advantage though and ended up losing anyway via DQ. Resorting to usage of ringside furnishings to assault Ms. Liberty. Something the ref, who was trying to let things flow, could not overlook.
Nora Pelf over Anaxis by DQ. Nora has very quickly discovered how tough it is to be a wrestler and is still looking for her first pin victory. Seemed pretty unlikely she’d be able to achieve that against one of the most successful females in history, Anaxis. Least she had the support of her fella, Johnny Rocket, which is more than can be said of Heracles. He was nowhere to be seen as usual. Not that it affected things too much. Anaxis was still vastly superior to Nora Pelf. However Nora gains the DQ win as Anaxis decides it’s more fun to start throwing her around outside the ring than go for a pin inside it.
Brainstorm downed the Soulwatcher. First sighting of the mysterious Soulwatcher. Not too much known about him. Immediately clear he has very high morals. Totally unimpressed with Brainstorm’s arrogance and Maxine Babe’s suggestive gyrations. He does well considering expectations that he’ll be a notch above an undercarder. Unfortunately his refusal to go out the ring for breathers works to his detriment. He may of survived THE BRAINSTORMER but it was just a matter of time. Brainstorm eventually got him with a running lariat. When Soulwatcher recovers and complains to the ref that Maxine Babe had been interfering and distracting Brainstorm admonishes him for telling fibs. It’s something Soulwatcher is going to have to accept goes on in most matches.
