Classic 'heel' ending to that intense main event... Unfortunate that CW got cheated out of his second chance, but looking forward to the American Psycho's upcoming encounter with Keith Lee with a title shot on the line...
Devestation Corp is looking virtually unstoppable... And thoroughly enjoyed Darby Allin's victory over DJZ...
Another awesome show!

Yeah, I'll always enjoy Anderson but the DQ definitely can work for storylines.

BDW Presents: Fire on the Mountain: The Southern Highway Festival 05.23.2016 from Atlanta, GA
- Southern Highway Championship Second Chance Finals - Keith Lee vs. Lance Hoyt Keith Lee defeated Lance Hoyt with a Germansault Suplex at 7:35 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Keith Lee demolished Lance Hoyt again. The big man could be well on his way to claiming the Southern Highway Championship, but Trevor Lee, undefeated, awaits him in the main event. If Keith Lee gets the win later, the match will not end, however, as Trevor Lee will have a chance to get the pinfall back as he already has a victory over Keith Lee. In essence, Keith Lee has beat Trevor Lee twice to become champion...
As for this match, Hoyt never got anything started and Lee hit him with big bombs all the way. It has to be said, though, that it did take 2 GROUND ZEROs and 2 SPIRIT BOMBS, before the Germansault suplex got it done.
- Twin Roads Championship Tournament Block A - Reno Scum vs. The Addiction Luster the Legend defeated Kazarian with a SCUM STOMP at 15:29 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Damn good tag team match!
Thornstowe and Daniels started off in the ring and went strike for strike as Thornstowe flipped off Daniels, hit a chop, Daniels hit a knee lift, then back and forth numerous times before Thornstowe landed a big superkick.
The early going was Reno Scum, but then Addiction bounced back and used solid tag work and an impressive arsenal to score numerous near falls.
Luster would get a hot tag and then it was all Scum as they built to a SCUM STOP for a 2 count that was broken up by Daniels, but hit another one immediately after and Thornstowe superkicked Daniels while Luster got the 1, 2, 3!
At this point the A Block really comes down to the Briscoes and Reno Scum. Worth noting that the Briscoes have a win over Reno Scum, so if both teams run the table, the Briscoes can take the block, otherwise Reno Scum needs to be perfect and see the Briscoes suffer a loss... Will ReDRagon play spoiler tonight? Of course, with a win ReDRagon might find themselves with a shot at the block, too...
- Twin Roads Championship Tournament Block A - Catch Point vs. Sydal & Ricochet Tracy Williams defeated Matt Sydal with a PILEDRIVER at 4:32 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Wow... Sydal and Ricochet haven't been able to do much in the tournament and this was no different. Sydal was isolated an dominated by Gulak and Williams. Ricochet never made it in the ring.
Williams used a single underhook brainbuster and then dropped him with a big PILEDRIVER for the 1, 2, 3 as Gulak pulled Ricochet from the apron.
Both of these teams were effectively out of the tournament, but Catch Point has been impressive in spite of some losses. I'm sure we'll see more of them on the Dragon Road.
Fire and Nice vs. Paradise Lost Chelsea Green defeated Dust with a FAMOUSER & CURB STOMP at 10:27 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Solid tag action as Fire & Nice impressed the crowd early.
Baker took it to Dust and hit some hi-impact offense before tagging in Chelsea Green. Chelsea would end up hitting a monster suicide dive that had both women down.
Green was up first and she and Baker continued to punish Dust, but Dust made a desperation tag to Rosemary and things went the Demon's way for a time.
Paradise Lost got some double-team offense in, but it wouldn't prove to be enough as Dust faltered on a dive of her own and Green and Baker took over.
They hit multiple finishers and when Rosemary tried to make the save, Baker caught her with a superkick while Chlesea got the 1, 2, 3.
Impressive debut for Fire & Nice on the Dragon Road.
AJ Styles vs. C.W. Anderson vs. Jimmy Rave AJ Styles defeated Jimmy Rave with a STYLES CLASH at 15:57 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Great 3-way!
Anderson got in a lot of offense on both opponents and was able to level each with his finisher.
One moment saw Styles make a comeback and go up top against Rave, but Anderson pushed him from the top to the outside! He then hit the SHOTGUN SUPERKICK on Rave and everyone thought it was over, but miraculously, Style dove in at the last minute and broke up the pin!
Rave made a short-lived run at Anderson, even hitting the DOPPLER EFFECT, but again the pin was broken up.
Styles dropped Rave with a huge Pele Kick and then hit the STYLES CLASH to get the win shortly after.
No doubt that all 3 needed the win, but one could argue it was Styles' match to lose and his victory here will make sure he stays on the Dragon Road after a very disappointing run in the Southern Highway Tournament.
- Twin Roads Championship Tournament Block A - ReDRagon vs. The Briscoes This match ended in a draw (Double DQ) at 11:48 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Great match.
Both teams had their moments and brought it in an action packed bout.
It could've gone either way and there were a number of near falls, finishers, and pin saves.
At one point O'Reilly went up top, but Jay met him and they exchanged strikes on the turnbuckle. O'Reilly got the better and then came off with a flying version of ARMAGEDDON! Jay got the ropes, tho...
Mark would hit a sick dive from the top that wiped O'Reilly out and led to a tag and some double team from the Briscoes. Jay then hit the JAY DRILLER, but Fish came in for the save. Mark was in and all four were brawling.
The crowd was hot as all four went at it and the ref couldn't get control. He finally called for the DQ on both teams!
This draw has big ramifications on the tournament. Should these teams win the rest of their matches, they'll be tied, leaving no option but a tie break match!
Of course, it may benefit Reno Scum the most, because if they win their next matches in the tournament, they'll be the winners as a result of this draw. Crazy stuff!
- Twin Road Queens Championship - Trifecta vs. MSEERIE for the Twin Road Queens This match ended in a draw (Double DQ) at 3:45 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Started strong as Savoy and MsChif exchanged holds, but Von Eerie and Savoy spilled outside and as the ref tried to get them back in they refused and kept brawling out into the crowd!
Eventually the ref threw the match out!
Trish Stratus came out and stood by the ref's decision, but promised to put all four women in a match where there had to be a winner...
- Queen's Road Championship - Cheerleader Melissa vs. Mercedes Martinez for the Queen's Road Championship Mercedes Martinez defeated Cheerleader Melissa with a Brutal Chops at :32 Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: This was unreal!
As Melissa handed the title over to Stratus, Martinez attacked from behind and arm dragged Melissa and then assaulted her with a flurry of brutal chops.
Martinez then made the cover, put her feet on the ropes, and got a flash pin!
Stratus even missed it!
As fans booed and chanted at the official, Stratus had no choice but to hand the belt to Martinez!
Melissa was irate and tried to appeal to Stratus, but all that was said is she was guaranteed a rematch...
Trifecta came out to celebrate with the new Queen's Road Champion as Melissa fumed to the back...
Mercedes Martinez won the Queen's Road Championship
- Southern Highway Championship Final - Keith Lee vs. Trevor Lee for the Southern Highway Championship Trevor Lee defeated Keith Lee with a STF at 22:02 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Trevor Lee came on like a man possessed at the opening bell and hit some huge moves, including a pair of ORANGE CRUSH finishers, but couldn't put Keith away!
He may have exhausted himself with the displays of strength as Keith Lee came back big and nearly put Trevor away with a SPIRIT BOMB and GROUND ZERO.
They fought tooth and nail in and out of the ring. Keith Lee even hit an impressive dive that led to a brawl around the ringside area that tested the referee's patience.
They would battle back and forth in what was turning into an epic clash and earned a "This is awesome" chant from the Atlanta fans.
Trevor Lee was able to come back out of no where and hit Keith with a tope con hilo driving him neck first into the guardrail!
He rolled him in and applied the STF in the middle of the ring! Somehow Keith Lee managed to make the ropes, but the damage was done.
Trevor Lee stomped on Lee's neck and knee before hitting a big penalty kick and applying the STF again to finally secure the win.
Incredible. Trevor Lee is the Southern Highway Champion and now joins Kenny Omega and Michael Elgin on the King's Road! Who will the fourth man be? Who will emerge as the first ever King's Road Champion?
We'll start to get more answers on the Eastern Highway Tour!
Trevor Lee won the Southern Highway Championship
Overall Card Rating: 2.83

PHENOMENAL win for AJ and I'm excited to see what's next for him... Really enjoyed the pairing of Sydal & Ricochet... But, it looks like the bookers were not ready to give them a push... Fun stuff!
