Card 119 - Niagara Tower of Lights:
Omega and the Gamemasters overcome the Gang of Three. Omega rides some criticism as he breaks his own promise not to form groups but he calls this a special one off case, “maybe Morpheus is right and we need to stand up to some of the troublemakers who are destabilising the fed”. His team does him proud as they cope with the underhand ways of the Gang of Three and take the spoils when Star Warrior executes NOVA LAUNCH on Salvation
Big Superstar makes a winning debut against Silvar. OMG who is this dude. After a shaky start where he is hit with TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER he seems to power up prompting a fight back which culminates in SUPERSTAR DROP. Big Superstar spends an almost eternal amount of time posing and celebrating his triumph inside the ring and then snatched the mic off the announcer to proclaim his greatness “I’m going to be the champ. I’ll keep churning through all the biggest stars until I reach the top. Won’t take me long”. This is the superstar that everyone had been drooling over? Fan reaction isn’t great and already can see he has the potential to rub people up the wrong way. An acquired taste perhaps
Commander Sam is pumped up as he wins a thriller over Krakan. Krakan addresses the crowd before Sam’s intro but in reality it’s aimed at Sam, “there is only one Commander in the GWF. In a few moments I will prove this to you all. Sam is running scared. I see he is too afraid to put that silly rip off belt on the line against me”. He sounds like he means business and the way he takes it to Sam at the start backs it up but then he makes a few mistakes and lets Sam off the hook. Given a way back into the match Sam is able to work an opening for SAM’S ATOMIC DROP and it knocks Krakan for six
Mangus wins against Blood who gives up a cheap DQ loss. Blood has always wrestled a high number of singles matches but with Jammer now retired it is his only division now. Blood sounds annoyed with himself for blowing the match during an interview. Asked whether he would be seeking a new partner he said “probably not. In a way not having to thinking about tag teaming is liberating and of course I do miss Jammer. He was my best mate. I just couldn’t see myself ever teaming with somebody else. My ranking is pretty high so I’m going to do my best to win the Galaxian belt”
Hechilles and Caiman go over the Deimos Dazzlers. Terrific tag action. Caiman is hit with and survived DEIMOS DRIVER no less than three times. He is still in the ring when the turnaround comes and uses HANDICAPPER on Tano. It doesn’t lead to the win as a pin save from Rama delays what seems inevitable. Sure enough Caiman tags in Hechilles who takes full advantage and within a few moves uses THE END to pin Tano
Mimic continues to be a thorn in the side of guys with bigger reps with Morpheus as the latest victim. Morpheus makes some bad decisions in the match but take nothing away from Mimic who is excellent and never gives up trying his famed MIME NERVE SLEEPER which eventually yields success.
Card 120 - Niagara Tower of Lights:
Galaxian champ, KO Keller, wins a tough and draining defense against Vice. He has to hit THE TEN COUNT several times before Vice will stay down long enough to grab the three
TOC belt match, Commander Sam overcame Big Superstar. Fan reaction to both guys is mixed. Big Superstar’s eyes light up when he sees Sam’s belt and he wants it. Sam has updated the belt strap with red, white and blue colours and is renaming it to the Star Spangled Strap. Big Superstar tried for a fast finish but Sam outfoxes him and soon hits SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Big Superstar shocks everyone by powering up and kicking out on just one and jumping up to scold Sam. Unlike the previous match where Big Superstar made a surging comeback Sam smothers the momentum and doesn’t take a long to stun him again, this time with a double fist. Big Superstar isn’t that hurt but doesn’t react quick enough to kick out this time. Later on he goes on air saying he was stiffed by a crooked referee and blames him for a fast count and allowing Sam to cheat. He will now go on a crusade to beat Sam and all the other top guys whilst also ridding the GWF of cheats. Guess the guy does have charisma and his ability to take a beating and comeback strong is not something we’ve really seen before. But he’s not the phenomenon everyone had been led to believe and he’s still a jerk
Krakan and Morpheus defeated Lord Nexus and Cosmos in a highly dramatic encounter. KO Keller was supposed to wrestle here with Lord Nexus but when he is booked to defend his belt on the same show he has to pull out. Krakan won’t allow Lord Nexus to cancel the match insisting he is awarded it by forfeit or that Lord Nexus wrestle alone in a handicap bout. Lord Nexus already has no shortage of friends and Cosmos cancels a planned vacation to come and help him out. Both Krakan and Morpheus protest this but Omega allows it. The ribs are strapped up on Lord Nexus but it doesn’t slow him down as he really takes the fight to Morpheus. The youngsters are initially on top but Morpheus leans on his vast experience and nicks victory after TRIP TO HADES on Cosmos. Morpheus gloats on the mic “your a good wrestler Cosmos but you still have much to learn from the old master”. Krakan comes in applauding Morpheus and sets his sights on Lord Nexus. He blindsides him with a knee into his damaged ribs and then unwraps some of the bandages to begin strangling Lord Nexus. The crowd pleads with Morpheus to stop his partner but he simply leaves saying this is not his battle. Luckily for Lord Nexus his partner, Cosmos, makes a dramatic recovery and rushes out the ring to grab a chair forcing Krakan to back off
Blood escapes a near upset to beat Silvar by count-out. Angered by the close shave Blood goes all hardcore outside the ring leaving Silvar in a heap. Poor old Silvar racks another loss and continues to play the role of being cannon fodder for the higher ranked guys
Sin defeated Caiman. Despite using HANDICAPPER Caiman cannot fend off the brutality of Sin and folds to KNUCKLE SANDWICH
Star Warrior puts Mimic away with NOVA LAUNCH.

Card 121 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, the Gamemasters, unexpectedly lose to Polarity by DQ for a second time but they still keep the belts. Star Warrior is in the ring with Sin and spots what he thinks is a hidden weapon inside his singlet. He panics and runs out of the ring to grab anything he can find. Cosmos is trying to tell Star Warrior to calm down but he picks up a broom that was slightly poking out from under the ring. The ref tries to get it off him but Star Warrior refuses to relinquish it. Sin is laughing and later remarks “the DQ may of prevented us winning the belts but we have got the Gamemasters scared. It’s only a matter of time before we win the belts from them”
Star Spangled Strap match, Hechilles digs in to beat Commander Sam with THE END. Hechilles thinks Sam’s belt concept is ridiculous and refuses to accept it
Krakan crushes Omega quickly thanks to MILITARY MANEUVERS. Krakan rubs salt in the wounds of Omega by describing it as his most straightforward match since entering the fed. He is certainly proving himself as main event material with several key victories already in his short stay so far
The Deimos Dazzlers are in scintillating form as they overcome Teamwork. Sure is a great match between the teams. Both KO Keller and Lord Nexus get hit with DEIMOS DRIVER twice each with the young Titan being the one pinned in the end. Bizarrely as the Dazzlers celebrate and then go to help the weakened Lord Nexus up Big Superstar makes a match saving run in. He helps himself to a folded chair on the way and comes in swinging. He immediately clears the ring and declares himself as a saviour. Lord Nexus is puzzled “what’s this guy doing? I wasn’t even in trouble. We was wrestling the Dazzlers for christ sake.”
Caiman defeats Mangus by DQ. Caiman grafts hard and fights to victory (albeit slightly unsatisfying). He lays down a challenge to his mate Hechilles afterwards, “at least I know that when we wrestle it’ll be a clean finish”
Vice goes over Morpheus after repeatedly using WICKEDNESS. Morpheus had aimed to show everyone just how you deal with a troublemaker but he finds the younger, fitter and much more violent Vice too much to handle.
Card 122 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Blood beat KO Keller to become the new Galaxian champ. Blood comes so close to a fast win with SCAR TISSUE (two of these) but when KO Keller evades defeat there are fears his big opportunity would pass by. Surely a typical comeback would happen now but KO Keller cannot respond. He remains on the back foot and falls victim to the finisher again and whilst it didn’t directly lead to his title loss it has such an impact that a running lariat from Blood soon after does lead to defeat. Blood realises his ambition and in a great moment Jammer is in the front row cheering him on. Both men share a hug. Disappointment for KO Keller who was only 5 cards from matching Omega’s record belt reign but a chance to bounce back immediately. Blood has offered him the chance to win the belt straight back at GB9
Morpheus and Omega beat the Gamemasters in an amazing non-title match. This dream match comes out of nowhere. Omega teaming with Morpheus again and going against his own son. For Omega it’s all about promoting the spirit of the GWF that there are no alliances and just competitive urges. He describes what an honour it is to reform the Guardians for one night only but Morpheus quickly tells him their team has no name and that’s all in the past. He doesn’t share the same enthusiasm and you get the feeling he only agreed to the match to sell out the arena and collect a nice pay day. Whatever the motives the crowd is absolutely buzzing and they see something truly astonishing as the fed founders roll back the years for a victory against the tag champs. The Gamemasters cannot believe as Morpheus is subjected to MASTERLOCK, NOVA LAUNCH and ENDGAME in three consecutive moves and kicks out on every single one of them. Star Warrior is open mouthed by this but actually gives the briefest of claps to Morpheus for his resilience. The match goes on a bit longer after this with Cosmos seemingly well in control of Morpheus but he goes for a deathjump and remarkably misses. Fast as lightening Morpheus moves to cover and gets the pin (I couldn’t believe when I rolled double 1). The arena goes wild. What a stunning result. Omega pays homage to Morpheus for his achievement and jokingly tells the Gamemasters nights like this teaches them to respect their elders. Some criticism headed the way of Cosmos for being so slack but Star Warrior leaps to his defence and refuses to play the blame game
Big Superstar beats Sin by DQ. Finally a chance for this guy to take on a real rule breaker. Just for once the crowd is on his side and boy does he lap it up “I’m gonna punish Sin for his misdeeds. The Big Superstar will run wild over him”. Sin at his usual antics, cheating and taking shortcuts. It shortens the match considerably as he busts Big Superstar open with a concealed object not caring that the ref catches him red handed. The announcer proclaims Big Superstar the winner and he proceeds to celebrate and pose like it was the greatest battle ever won in the ring. The crowd which was on his side just minutes before soon turns on him. They are generally unimpressed with the show of self importance
Lord Nexus and Commander Sam beat CTA-102. Sam’s the man as he has a long battle with Montrol and then moves onto Krakan himself. It takes SAM’S ATOMIC DROP three times in a row but the win comes. In the aftermath Krakan says he wants to back off from his battles with Sam as there are too many rivalries to handle at one time and sees this as the blow off. He tries to save face by putting blame on Montrol and that the reason he was beaten was because he had to carry the team so much it was like being in an handicap match. Krakan now fancies having a run at the tag belts despite some misgivings about the ability of his partner. He might want to take a long look at himself in the mirror as he was the one who cost his team the match and they need to be much better than this to stand a chance against the likes of the Gamemasters
Mangus overcame Silvar via THE ANNIHILATOR, although we didn’t know it at the time this is Mangus’ final match. Guess it was fitting he ended against the same guy he started against. Probably not a match Mangus will remember greatly when he looks back on his career as he makes hard work of it. The intense battles with Commander Sam (and to a lesser extent Mimic) typified Mangus and will go down among the greatest rivalries
Hechilles wins over Caiman by DQ. Fair result on the balance of the match. Both no selling each other’s finisher. Caiman probably seeking to go out of the ring a little too much for the ref’s liking. He looks a bit shocked when he hears the decision but sportingly accepts it. All in ends in good relations between the two friends. The customary handshake between them always well received plus the fans are never short changed by their matches (even if it wasn’t a clean outcome).

GWF REPORT (2084 CARDS 119 - 122)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Blood
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
Just when Omega and Morpheus should be toasting their remarkable win on #122 they have a big clash over Big Superstar (whom Morpheus casted his net to recruit). The entire fed and many fans despise Big Superstar’s self importance and arrogant demands. He hangs around in celeb bars, expects privileges wherever he goes and thinks he is the biggest draw in the universe. Morpheus wants Big Superstar to have top billing (rumours are that Big Superstar is paying Morpheus bribe cash to push him). Although he can furnish no good reasons for the big push he gets Big Superstar into the main event match at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 9. He produces a contract showing Omega himself must take him on. Omega tries to talk him round reasoning neither deserves to be in the main event and that the Galaxian belt match should be the pivotal part of the show. Morpheus stands by his decision and says Omega must realise the current wrestling has to evolve and that means big stars with big charisma headlining the shows. Of course Big Superstar brags big time and even calls the main event the ‘Great Galactic War’ which many find offensive. They also don’t like how it paints Omega as some kind of symbol of hate.
Mangus departs the GWF without rhyme or reason. Only a couple of months ago he had said he wanted to win the Star Spangled Strap and break it up with a hammer. I think some other people would of liked that to happen too. I’d call their battles about even over the years. Both had major wins over each other and time in the ascendancy. Mangus certainly improved upon the previous rep from Cygnus (Torpor). I’m sure more alien wrestlers will come to the GWF and Sam won’t be shy about taking them on. Of course Sam is claiming he has run Mangus out of the fed and scored a significant moral victory for Earth over Cygnus. He now sets his sights on promoting the Star Spangled Strap (which he wants to become the officially recognised secondary belt of the GWF) and also on bringing Big Superstar down a peg or two. Sam says the old fashioned remedy of a good beating in the ring will burst the bubble and send the tanned egomaniac back to where he came from. Fans hope Omega does this first but will welcome Sam dishing out punishment.
Commander Krakan has changed his full ring name to Invincible saying “I don’t have the time or energy to humiliate Sam over the use of a simple name. Besides ‘Invincible’ describes me better”. It is his obsession to defeat Lord Nexus and punish all Titans. He also challenges Paladin Power to step out of retirement but so far there has been no response. For now Lord Nexus continues to meet the challenge head on and is getting respect for wrestling through his injuries.
Staying with Krakan in the headlines there was actually some great booking on #120 spawning a couple of intriguing bouts for GB9. Krakan got cross Cosmos helped Lord Nexus “just when I was about to end his career” whilst Lord Nexus voiced his disappointment with Morpheus for just walking away from a potentially devastating attack, “I couldn’t believe one of the fed’s founding fathers was prepared to allow such violence to occur”. As a result we have the following matches all signed, Morpheus-Lord Nexus (massive match for the home crowd on Titan) and Cosmos-Krakan. Other mentionable matches, weird stuff as Mimic challenges Commander Sam in honour of Mangus (having had an intense rivalry with Mangus himself) and Star Warrior is left alone due to Cosmos being committed elsewhere and decides to try and teach Vice a lesson that cheating never pays off and the GWF has had enough of his antics. Of course cannot ignore the Galaxian belt match as Blood and KO Keller go at it again. Two POW vets now slugging it out in the huge spectacle of GB9. A war of words has broken. Both believe they are tougher than the other.
NEWCOMER - Big Superstar; INJURED - Lord Nexus (2)

Card 123 - GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 9 - Titan Sportatorium:
In the ‘Great Galactic War’, Omega beat Big Superstar. Showboating start from Big Superstar as he enters the ring and rips the mic out of the ring announcer’s hand to address Omega (who pays no notice and nonchalantly adjusts his boots), “Hey brotha. There is magic in the air. You’ll be saying prayers tonight. I’m gonna beat yer sorry behind. Whatcha gonna do when the Big Superstar comes after you” and he irritatingly cups his ear to listen to the fans cheers and anticipates a night of glory. All he can hear is heckling so he just brushes them off. Omega has always said the best way to deal with people like this is to beat them clean in the ring. It has also been a while since he last held the title and he craves another run with the belt so victory here may give him enough ranking points to mount another challenge. From the opening bell Omega is on top with Big Superstar playing for crowd sympathy against the apparent evil aggressor. Turning point in the match soon comes, Big Superstar is trying to hulk up for a big comeback but Omega’s seen it all before. He simply sidesteps the kicks and punches. Big Superstar tries to whip Omega into the ropes and catch him with a big boot to the face but Omega simply catches his foot and takes him down with a leg sweep. Big Superstar then tries to get back on his feet but just as he gets upright Omega flies at him with TOMAHAWK THRUST and puts him away. Uproar in the days after the match as Big Superstar claims he kicked out and was denied the chance to continue. Television replays do indeed show he was right as he got his shoulder up at the last millisecond but there is nothing that can be done to change the result. What’s a big PPV without a dusty finish?
Galaxian champ, Blood, crushed KO Keller to remain champion. Big rematch between these two hardcore veterans with the ultimate prize at stake again. Blood makes all the journalists who predicted a short reign eat their words by cantering to victory. He only needs a few minutes to finish it with SCAR TISSUE. KO Keller barely laid a glove on him
Krakan gets the better of Cosmos. A simmering rivalry ever since #120. Slugging it out in a long match which doesn’t really capture the imagination. Krakan coming out on top to keep his impressive record going
Morpheus defeated Lord Nexus via a Satanic Skull Smasher. Lord Nexus is still being told to rest his sore ribs but he refuses to let the injury scupper his plans. He hopes the home crowd can lift him to victory and considering his injuries Lord Nexus does a great job. Going toe to toe with Morpheus and even kicking out after TRIP TO HADES which got a huge pop. Unfortunately the early promise evaporates as Morpheus proves too strong and saps the popular Titan with his powerful style. He ends up battering his way to the pin fall
The Deimos Dazzlers upset Polarity. A rude shock hits Polarity after bragging comments on how they would make mincemeat of the Dazzlers (Sin’s words not Salvation). They cannot get to grips with the fast tags and double team synchronisation of the Dazzlers who beat Salvation after DEIMOS DRIVER. Sin tried to rumble the finish with a pin save but Rama was alert and knocked him off the apron with a spectacular drop kick
Mimic picks up a surprise win over Commander Sam and treats the viewers to an energetic mime depicting joy. Sam was all smiles before this upset took place. He beams as he wears his new Star Spangled strap in the ring and shows it off letting fans touch it. He is very keen to explain it is NOT on the line tonight as Mimic is not a proven and worthy contender. Mimic leaves him embarrassed for such comments as he adds another big name to his list of unexpected victories
Star Warrior beats Vice by DQ. Decent match with Star Warrior trying to improve his singles record and really taking it to Vice. He hits NOVA LAUNCH twice but it lacks the potency to end it. Nevertheless he battles to a DQ win after becoming the victim of an out of ring brawl (although Star Warrior was giving as good as he got and Vice seemed to suffer the loss more based on reputation)
Hechilles and Caiman wrestle Mighty Grogan and Silvar to a draw as the time expires. It’s clear Silvar isn’t on the level of the other guys but he wins a lot of supporters for his resilience and effort. In fact his team is close to an upset as at one point Grogan has Hechilles gasping in UPPER CRUSH but a well timed pin save put paid to that. He even managed to get the move on Caiman later but couldn’t properly clamp his arms long enough for it to be effective. Hechilles and Caiman looked frustrated with themselves when the bell went but acknowledged their opponents with sporting handshakes.
Card 124 - Luna Auditorium:
Star Spangled Strap match, Commander Sam defeated Mimic. Sam said he looked at the rankings and was surprised as anyone to see Mimic deserves a shot at his strap after beating him last time out. Sam is obviously keen to avenge the loss and not suffer the same fate as Mangus did against Mimic. He attacks like a man possessed but Mimic is a tricky customer to deal with. Sam has to work really hard to get himself into a position where he can unleash SAM’S ATOMIC DROP but when he does it is curtains for Mimic
Morpheus beats Blood by DQ in a non-title match. Morpheus definitely up for making the most of the chance to take on the champ even though the belt was not on the line. He gives Blood a really torrid time. Inevitably the match would end up outside the ring and sure enough it does. Under some pressure and going backwards towards the rails Blood instinctively picks up a drinks bottle and smashes it over the back of Morpheus’ head. It bursts on impact showering both of them and burning their eyes. The ref has no option but to call the bell. Has Morpheus done enough to earn the next title shot? Maybe if he’d managed to win by pin fall there would be no doubt
Krakan battles to a win against Star Warrior after MILITARY MANUEVERS. Star Warrior really turns on the style at the beginning of the bout but Krakan weathers the storm. The pace settles down and they share moments of control but Krakan is the one who prevails. Disappointment for Star Warrior but Krakan has been tearing up most opposition since entering the fed so there is no disgrace in losing to him. Krakan already banging on the door for a shot at Blood’s title
Lord Nexus defeated Montrol after using TITAN DROP. The bandages are almost ready to come off for Lord Nexus. He’s been on a downer what with injuries and a lot of losses so really needed this
Mighty Grogan goes over Salvation with UPPER CRUSH. Refreshing to see a match focused on pure mat wrestling with traditional holds. Interesting how the fans react very differently to Salvation when Sin is not around
Deimos Dazzlers against Omega and Cosmos by DQ. Fast and furious action. The Dazzlers buzzing after their GB9 success and looking for a big scalp. Everyone watching is really enjoying the match until Vice and Sin decide to drop in. They ruin a perfectly good battle as they attack both teams but weight of numbers overwhelms them and they are forced from the ring. Omega asks the ref if he’ll consider continuing the match but his request is boldly refused.

Card 125 - Luna Auditorium:
Star Warrior defeated Big Superstar with his second NOVA LAUNCH of the match. The tussle goes ahead despite the hideous events of the last bout. It’s now the turn of Star Warrior wanting to shut this guy up as Big Superstar has a bee in his bonnet about GB9 and the corrupt officiating. He hasn’t stopped moaning about what happened and calling it a tainted victory. Big Superstar certainly has this remarkable ability to find strength from nowhere and feed off some kind of invisible force (he claims its energy from his fans but as barely anybody is cheering him that’s hard to believe). He stages a monster comeback and comes crashing down on Star Warrior with SUPERSTAR DROP using ferocious force. Star Warrior kicks out and Big Superstar cannot believe someone has the audacity not to sell the move (as if thinking matches should be partially staged). He plays the hapless victim and holds out his hands in wonder. Either he loses heart or concentration as his play acting gives Star Warrior ample time to recover and stage his own comeback culminating in a glorious and popular victory
Vice overcame Silvar. Vice sees red after nearly suffering a humiliating loss to TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. He constantly takes the action outside and smashes Silvar’s head into a post before pitching him back in the ring for the pin. Horror show now unfolds as Vice leaves the ring only to return with a chair. Everyone looks on fearing the worst as he then conducts a brutal attack battering Silvar with it until he is no longer moving. Vice pauses to look at his motionless victim and then just keeps going. Most wrestlers are too far away at the time or unaware of what was going on to offer assistance. Omega is the only man able to come out and stop him but the damage has been done. Silvar is just laying still with blood coming out of this mouth. There are then a couple of spasms and the scene sparks tears among the crowd. It’s all hands to the pump as paramedics swarm all over the ring and he is rushed straight to hospital
Krakan and Morpheus beat Teamwork in an outcome that goes against the grain of the match. Lord Nexus is fully fit and raring to go whilst Krakan snubs Montrol to partner “someone with a touch of class” tonight. Becomes clear very early on that Krakan and Morpheus are not on the same wavelength. Morpheus gets dominated and is lucky to survive both TITAN DROP and THE TEN COUNT (in that order). Things don’t go too much better for Krakan on his extended ring stint but then out of nowhere he musters a reversal on KO Keller then follows up with MILITARY MANUEVERS to steal the pin
Caiman wins a big ranking match over Omega who racks up an out of character DQ. Disbelief for Omega who had been working hard to move back into the title picture
Commander Sam makes short work of Montrol with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP bringing the pin
Marcel de Sade overcame Mimic with HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE. Marcel de Sade just about avoids a losing debut. Mimic coming close a couple times with MIME NERVE SLEEPER during the course of the bout.
***BREAKING NEWS***
Morpheus preparing to leave the GWF! Evidence of accepting bribe money to push Big Superstar. Morpheus reported to be shellshocked. As fate would have it he is booked to face Big Superstar at the next card and it will be his last match. Big Superstar is almost thrown out of the GWF too but manages to protest his innocence and cut himself a deal to remain.
Card 126 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Caiman beats Blood with a powerbomb to become the new Galaxian champ. There had been quite a build up over who is getting the next shot as several wrestlers stake strong claims. Omega (who is in the mix himself) decides that Caiman will provide Blood’s next challenge. Caiman grasps the opportunity and beats Blood quickly. It’s his second title victory but he needs to defend the belt to be listed as a champion
Tag champs, the Gamemasters, beat Polarity in a cage match. The Gamemasters seem untouchable in tag competition owing to their amazing skillset but perhaps also a slight lack of opposition calibre. However recent DQ losses have blotted their copybook so Omega says let’s put this inside a cage to ensure an outright winner. Sin is licking his lips at the prospect but his hopes perish. A captivating battle ends with Sin getting hit with ENDGAME. The Gamemasters choosing to escape the cage rather than pin him to add more style to the triumph. Sin tries to pull them down having done well to get to his feet but Cosmos gives out a hefty kick and sends him sprawling
Big Superstar defeated Morpheus with SUPERSTAR DROP (Morpheus final match). Crowd reaction to both men is hostile. Big Superstar attempting to find friends among the crowd but is peppered with debris. For a split moment he looks hurt by it all but quickly brushes it off and returns to his bragging persona. When the match finally gets underway it’s exciting. Not much in the way of technical moves with mainly brawling power moves on show but both of them trade the upper hand constantly. Big Superstar is probably giving his best showing since his controversial arrival and just about gains victory. With such a high profile win a title shot beckons for Big Superstar
Mighty Grogan makes quick work Marcel de Sade after leaving him seeing stars with a DDT
Teamwork beat CTA-102. KO Keller sliding down the card since his title loss but he reminds everyone that he is not finished yet. He leads his team to a hard earned victory by pinning Krakan
Mimic defeated Hechilles. Mimic is often underestimated but he is so good at using the ropes and turnbuckles it always makes him tough to beat. He has picked up more than his fair share of wins during his silent career. Within a minute Hechilles already has 3 tokens. He recovers but just can’t find the finishing touch. As he tires Mimic gets another run on the front foot and wins with MIME NERVE SLEEPER (fifth time in the match).

GWF REPORT (2084 CARDS 123 - 126)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Caiman
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
The GWF is in a state of shock after Vice’s vile attack on Silvar. The chair beating he received was so vicious that poor Silvar has lapsed into a coma. Everyone in the GWF is outraged. The loathing towards the Gang of Three is off the chart. Even Salvation is suffering as despite his heroic style he is being bracketed with them. Vice is left picking up the pieces of his career (not that he cares) as hardly anyone is prepared to step inside the ring with him.
Relations again detoriate when Omega proves Morpheus' actions in taking bribe money from Big Superstar and there is no smoothing it over - Morpheus leaves the GWF humiliated and with a cloud over him although he is trying to save face by saying he has simply retired! He fires a parting shot “I can’t work with Omega any longer which is why I am retiring. I think Omega must of been a milk monitor at school and ever since he has thought of himself as the most important person in the galaxy. I have never met a more self centred guy in my life. Plus he is still living in the Stone Age with his outdated ideas. If he doesn’t change the GWF will fail. I hope our paths don’t cross again but if they do ...”. Love him or loathe him Morpheus has certainly made his mark on GWF history.
Already overloaded with running the GWF now Omega must take on even greater responsibility. Newcomer to the GWF Marcel de Sade is Omega’s first signing since Morpheus’ retirement. Little is known about this guy’s background, some are whispering he may be a product of time travel! His in-ring skills look like they need some improving on but like so many wrestlers in these formative years he is best described as a rough diamond that could morph into a big player.
Omega pleads for a calmer atmosphere and wants the GWF to start with a fresh slate now Morpheus has departed.
With all the negative press Big Superstar has suddenly stopped complaining about the outcome at GB9 where there may of been a fast count by the referee. Still hasn’t popped his big ego bubble as he still believes he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Looking to gloss over the bribe allegations he is now trying to get people on board by going around promoting ‘the Big Superstar Surf Party’. He calls out for the little superstars to attend it, get behind him and worship his wrestling moves. On his next ring appearance (#126 ironically against Morpheus whilst all the news was breaking) he is pelted by fans but one youngster offers a handshake. Big Superstar takes the bait as the youngster pulls away last minute and blows a raspberry in his face. For a moment it looks like Big Superstar is going to blow his top with the fan but suddenly realising all eyes are on him he composes himself and laughs it off whilst patting the young lad on the head. As for the big surf party held at a beach hut on Mercury it’s one massive flop. Barely anyone shows up and Big Superstar struggles to sell any autographs or merchandise.
Krakan makes frustrations with Montrol public who struggles to get to grips with wrestling. Makes it clear if things don’t improve he’ll do something about it and may seek a new partner.
End of the year awards sees Blood take top prize. The way he has recovered from losing his partner, Jammer, to injury to move into singles full time and then capture the belt has been nothing short of sensational. Whilst this is a predictable award the tag team choices are anything but. The public was clearly so taken in with nostalgia as Omega and Morpheus linked up in a one off to beat the Gamemasters in a non-title match that they voted them the top team. Did they ever lose a match as a team (remember they vacated the straps as the Guardians in 2075 after they fell out)? I’d have to check my records on that. Second prize to the Deimos Dazzlers. They deserve recognition. Always punching above their weight and always serving up thrilling matches. Vice’s attack on Silvar secures his place as the most hated guy. If it hadn’t been for that then Big Superstar would probably of assumed that unwanted title. In the popularity contest it seems the fans will always have a soft spot for a Omega as he wins most votes. Probably helped that he beat the massively unpopular Big Superstar at GB9 albeit with a shady outcome. Lord Nexus scores highly too. A difficult year punctuated by injury but he wrestled on and always smiling.
Newcomers - Marcel de Sade; Code Enforcer; Leaving or out of action - Morpheus; Silvar

Card 127 - Io Coliseum:
Galaxian champ, Caiman, defeats Hechilles. Historic meeting. The two friends have fought each other so many times but never for something as important as this. Can their friendly rivalry survive such a high profile encounter? Of course it can! Even though Caiman turns it a one-sided affair finishing with HANDICAPPER. The success means he joins the legendary list of champions. Hechilles congratulates his friend and admits Caiman was the much better wrestler tonight, “He can be a great champion. I should know. Just hope I get another chance to challenge him soon”
Vice bested Omega via WICKEDNESS. Vice failed to notice a masked wrestler at ringside who was waiting for him to leave the ring. Vice decides not to attack Omega afterwards and exits the ring whereupon the masked guy springs into action. He grabs Vice from behind and with the element of surprise on his side is able to force him head first towards the crowd barrier. Looking around for a weapon he cannot lay his hands on anything suitable so settles for grabbing Vice around the neck. He only lets go when Vice starts turning purple. Omega had by now recovered inside the ring and stood just watching what was happening. A few kicks in the ribs for good measure and the attack was over. Who was the masked attacker? Later in an interview he calls himself the Code Enforcer and his voice is disguised by digital distortion. He promises to keep on attacking all rulebreakers and stamp their cheating out of the GWF. Anyone who forms a group who will also feel his wrath
The Deimos Dazzlers beat CTA-102 by DQ. Splendid effort as always from the Dazzlers to earn this narrow win with Tano winning against Krakan and doing well to kick out after MILITARY MANUEVERS. On the other side Krakan is again counting the cost of having to carry Montrol. Although it was his offence that led to the decision he had to save Montrol’s skin once again. It’s becoming familiar theme
Blood beat Mighty Grogan in a tough match. Often when a champ drops a belt their form suddenly deserts them (KO Keller and Omega being recent examples) but Blood is determined to bounce back as quickly as possible
Polarity overcame Teamwork. Lord Nexus is singled out for some very vicious punishment with KNUCKLE SANDWICH hurting him. It left him weak and unable to stem the tide of attacks with Salvation eventually finishing him with FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP. KO Keller comments that something has got to be done about these guys as they are getting away with murder
Marcel de Sade upsets Commander Sam with HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE. Sam broods over some big mistakes such as failure to pin de Sade with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP and then getting frustrated. Sam let it affect him so much that he completely missed a turnbuckle charge hurting himself badly and letting de Sade get a grip of the match.
Card 128 - Ceres Amphitheater:
Tag champs, the Gamemasters, overcome CTA-102 after a tense battle. Krakan falls victim to ENDGAME to end his team’s run at the tag belts. Krakan fumes at Montrol for blowing their chance by failing to break up the pin attempt. He also calls Montrol’s finisher shambolic, “I put him in control but his finisher MONTROL STEAMROLLER is so weak it wouldn’t pin an old lady. He did it twice and still didn’t come close to finishing the match off. I don’t know why I trusted him”. Take nothing away from the Gamemasters though as they have now held the tag titles for an astonishing 31 cards now (that’s well over 2 years)
Sin defeats Commander Sam. Reacting to KO Keller’s comments on the last card Sin says nothing can be done to stop the Gang of Three terrorising the GWF. Perhaps unwise to say this as the Code Enforcer seeks him out. Although Sin wins after Commander Sam misses yet another turnbuckle charge he then stands frozen at the sight of the Code Enforcer. Commander Sam makes a recovery inside the ring and clotheslines Sin from behind and then feeds him to the Code Enforcer by hurling him over the top rope. Sin is mobbed by the Code Enforcer and some other smaller masked helpers but manages to pull out a bladed object from inside his boot and force his release. With this brief opening he is able to hobble up the runway and reach the sanctuary of the dressing room. Sin locks a door between himself and the attackers. A stand off occurs for over an hour with Sin refusing to come out. The Code Enforcer finally leaves and warns Sin that he will get him another time, “he can’t dodge me forever. He needs to keep looking over his shoulder”
Marcel de Sade stays hot after beating Lord Nexus with HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE. Time was nearly up but de Sade stepped it up big time right at the end. Lord Nexus will feel hard done by as he was much the superior wrestler for large parts and used TITAN DROP several times but is unable to keep de Sade’s shoulders pinned to the mat long enough each time
KO Keller beats Omega by count-out in a battle of the old timers. KO Keller has definitely aged the better but Omega has still got enough about him to make it a decent contest despite the loss
Salvation wipes the floor with Blood. Mega embarrassing for Blood as Salvation completely outwrestles him and needs barely a couple of minutes to catch him with FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP
Mighty Grogan far too strong for Mimic as he clamps UPPER CRUSH for a quick win at around the 1 minute mark.

Card 129 - Ceres Amphitheater:
Star Spangled Strap match, Commander Sam destroys Blood. Perhaps missing the feeling of having a belt round his waist Blood challenges Sam for his self created title and is accepted. However the curse of being an ex-champion strikes him as a slumps to a second consecutive humiliating loss. Sam needing just 4 moves with the last 2 being SAM’S ATOMIC DROP to win
Caiman beat Omega in a non-title match. Caiman is nowhere near his best but grinds out victory via HANDICAPPER. Perhaps he is saving himself for his big title defense on #130. Speaking of which, Big Superstar caused a ruckus as he showed up in the crowd scouting his opponent. He couldn’t resist getting in Caiman’s face as the champ was leaving. Caiman fronted him up and the pair of them nearly have an all out brawl in the actual crowd
Polarity manhandles the Deimos Dazzlers with Sin knocking Rama out with KNUCKLE SANDWICH. Sin grimaces when he catches sight of the Code Enforcer lurking ready to attack. However he came prepared for this. Vice was undercover as part of the ringside officials. Disguised in a suit and prosthetic mask he leaps up and meets the Code Enforcer in the runway. Vice has a chair whilst the Code Enforcer has a crowbar. The pair of them circle around and we all wait to see who will strike first but the Amphitheater security are not prepared to take any risks. Within moments several guys rush out and one of them brandishes a high pressure water hose. Both Vice and the Code Enforcer get blasted and are taken off their feet. It breaks up the attack and when order is restored both men have disappeared from the scene. The fans (some of whom got soaked) are not sure what to make of the Code Enforcer, liking the fact rule breakers like Sin are wrestling with fear but also feeling cheated because he is spoiling lots of matches
Big Superstar comes out tops against Cosmos. In true Big Superstar style he enters the ring as if he is already the GWF champion. He forgets all he has got is a shot at it. He’s actually got to win the thing first. Cosmos squares up to him as the ref talks to them and reminds Big Superstar of this fact. Big Superstar is taken aback and shouts, “hey man, you’re a party pooper, my mind is on being the greatest champion ever. I won’t let you spoil my moment!” Looks like he might actually have a chance of winning the belt if he can match tonight’s form. Cosmos gives a gallant effort but Big Superstar uses his power effectively and even though it takes two of them he nails the big boot and SUPERSTAR DROP to march towards a notable win
The Code Enforcer beat Krakan by DQ. Much excitement for the first Code Enforcer match but it’s a short affair. Krakan had the Code Enforcer on the ropes nearly pinning him with MILITARY MANUEVERS. Krakan kept up the pressure forcing the Code Enforcer outside. He followed him out and spotted the Code Enforcer’s favoured weapon, a crowbar, sticking out from underneath ring. Unable to resist he picks it up and swings out with the crowbar but the Code Enforcer just about manages to stagger backwards and out of reach. Krakan ends up hitting the ring post and dropping it. Before he can pick it up again the bell has rung and officials have confiscated it. Krakan storms away and may be made to regret his actions as he is sure to of put his name on the Code Enforcer’s target list now
Hechilles goes over Star Warrior via THE END. Galvanising victory for Hechilles but it was one difficult encounter with Star Warrior showing a pedigree that may well stand in him in good stead if one day he decides to really pursue singles success.
Card 130 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Galaxian champ, Caiman, keeps hold of the belt against Big Superstar after HANDICAPPER. Big Superstar has a spring in his step on his way to the ring shouting “this is it brutha! The gold is finally gonna be around my waist”. However he can’t back up his big talk as Caiman is in inspired form. Big Superstar falls well short in his quest to become champ but he takes it all in his usual good grace with accusations of cheating, fast count, poor dressing room facilities etc. You name it, he complained about it
Teamwork easily overcomes CTA-102 with KO Keller taking barely a minute to pin Montrol. With such a humiliating outcome Montrol seems to fear Krakan and in an interview after the match Krakan turns on him. Montrol is left clinging on to his dignity as Krakan rips off his CTA-102 uniform and leaves him looking pathetic in a curled up bleeding ball wearing just his underpants
Vice defeated the Code Enforcer. More blood spilt as this resembled one of those old fall’s count anywhere matches that were once so popular. Vice gets the win after briefly stunning the Code Enforcer by smashing his head into a ring post and then pitching him back into the ring with great difficulty to score the pin. The ref obviously saw fit to let everything go. The Code Enforcer doesn’t let the defeat diminish his plans as he continues to fire out warnings and even suggests popular wrestlers like Omega, Commander Sam and the Gamemasters will be targeted the same way if they cross any lines, “there are no special cases. I am here to protect the code and nothing will stop me in my quest to enforce it”
Sin beat Cosmos by DQ. Cosmos is angered by the Code Enforcer (he was waiting in the wings for his own match against Vice) trying to make another attack on Sin which led to the DQ for those actions. Cosmos may also have been narked by Sin breaking free of MASTERLOCK. Cosmos suggests the Code Enforcer, whoever he is, better keep his nose out of matches that have nothing to do with him
Hechilles surging back up the rankings as he puts Omega to the sword. Dominant performance culminating in THE END
Mighty Grogan beats Mimic but needs a big turnaround to do it. Even when he was on top it wasn’t plain sailing. Mimic really playing him as he was locked in UPPER CRUSH two times but using his incredible acting he fakes passing out causing Grogan to release him early only to find Mimic was still firing on a few cylinders. Fed up with being made to look a fool he smashes Mimic with a brainbuster and this time there is no acting. Mimic is out cold.
