GWF REPORT (2085 CARDS 127 - 130)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Caiman
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
Montrol is shockingly attacked by Krakan for being so hopeless. There had been signs that Krakan’s patience with his partner was starting to wear thin and the final straw came in their tag team match against Lord Nexus and KO Keller. Krakan waits until the post match interview to attack. He smashes the mic across the back of Montrol’s head and then pounces. Montrol is thrown all round the studio and beaten to a pulp before being stripped of what little dignity he had left. Montrol flees the GWF (never to be heard from again although in later years reports are that he is living in seclusion and a nervous wreck as a result of his time working for Krakan)!
Lingering thoughts for Silvar who has thankfully awoken from his coma and is resting up in hospital. Trouble is he has long recovery road ahead and may never return to the GWF. There is anxiety among the remaining wrestlers over all the violence.
Where has the Code Enforcer come from? He has been spouting off about some type of code that he follows and his job is to force those rules. In interviews his voice is synthesised to protect his identity. Every opportunity he has had he has been punishing the Gang of Three (especially Vice) and rulebreakers alike as part of his clean up operation. Rumour is he had a lot to do with Mangus suddenly departing the GWF. Mangus knew the Code Enforcer was coming and that he was on his target list. They may even of faced each other in a dark match where Mangus was reportedly beaten black and blue with a crowbar. Is the Code Enforcer acting on Omega’s orders to drive the wrong elements out the fed? Some are even speculating it may be Morpheus under a mask! Public perception of all this is that the GWF is an accident waiting to happen as all the violence snowballs. Even some of the other (so far untargetted) guys are wary of him. He certainly ruffled Cosmos’ feathers when he attacked Sin during their match.
Caiman is overheard speaking with his great friend Hechilles after the last card. He says he doesn’t like the direction the GWF is headed and might retire. Having realised the dream of becoming the champ there is nothing more to achieve. Hechilles tells him there is still more to do and how he would dearly love to win the tag belts with him. Caiman pauses for thought and seems to say something else (inaudible) before nodding his head and putting his arm round his buddy. If he does retire and he is still holding the belt then that throws up an interesting scenario. Big Superstar snaffles up the opportunity by reacting to the news with a demand to be installed as new champ should any vacancy arise.
A couple of cards coming at the Aethran War Dome. Rumours abound that we may see some Aethrans wrestle at the shows.

Card 131 - Aethran War Dome:
Tag champs, the Gamemasters, defeated Polarity by DQ. There are just 5 recognised tag teams left in the GWF (and with Caiman holding the main belt it’s put a temporary hold on his team too effectively reducing the field to 4) so this is why Polarity gets the shot again. Sin once again blows it for them for taking his hardcore style beyond what is acceptable. Most partners would be forgiven for getting frustrated but Salvation continues not to criticise his partner and even makes a rare comment that “I will never tell Sin how he should be wrestling and the same will not happen back. Have total respect for the decision of the ref tonight”
Big Superstar overcomes Mighty Grogan. Words of bravado pre match from Big Superstar “this dude thinks he’s more powerful than me? The greatest force in the galaxy? I’ll show him”. Sets up a hot atmosphere between them but Big Superstar delivers to keep himself in the mix for the GWF title. He powers out of Grogan’s Olympic Roll Up and stuns the flabbergasted Grogan with a Piledriver to steal the win from out of nowhere
Vice beats Dragonfighter after WICKEDNESS. Reports that Vice has hired investigators to keep tabs on the Code Enforcer. Shows how worried he is about him but gets given a green light as the feedback reveals the Code Enforcer is actually wrestling elsewhere (booked by another wrestling territory). The match itself sees Dragonfighter take a while to get in the swing of things but he gives Vice a torrid time and shows an impressive repertoire. However, Vice takes things outside and Dragonfighter looks uncomfortable as he gets outbrawled. Vice back ontop and now able to coast to victory
Wolf beats Commander Sam. Much anticipated debut of the Gladiators and the first one in action is Wolf. The crowd makes a deafening reaction to seeing the first known Aethran rep. Not with cheering but continuous pounding of what sounds like metal boots on the Dome’s floor. It’s wild action and Sam means business as he sends Wolf sprawling immediately but then the hostile crowd gets to him. Wolf starting to batter him all over the ring, inside, outside and even up the runway. Sam is a bloody mess but calls on his greater experience to survive much longer than expected and almost threatens a win with a clever comeback. It cannot last though as the wounds take their toll and Wolf puts in a spectacular finish with a moonsault
Krakan crushed Omega. Lots of ring rust on Omega as Krakan canters through their encounter. It takes 4 of them but MILITARY MANUEVERS is used to put Omega out his misery
KO Keller takes a routine win over Mimic thanks to THE TEN COUNT.
Card 132 - Aethran War Dome:
Star Spangled Strap match, Commander Sam overcomes Star Warrior. The chance to hold a singles belt (albeit unrecognised) along with the tag belt is too much to resist for Star Warrior when Sam offers him the chance, “I’m honoured Sam picked me out. Dad doesn’t actually view this as a proper GWF belt but he’s always encouraging Sam to defend it in cards and deep down I think he sees it as in important part of the promotion”. Unfortunately he runs into Sam on an inspired night. Sam raises his game under threat of losing his beloved strap and doesn’t give Star Warrior a moment to breathe. It’s inevitable that Sam would soon hit SAM’S ATOMIC DROP to emerge with the spoils
Brute and Massacre destroy the Deimos Dazzlers. Trying to stand up to the Aethran war machine but the Dazzlers barely have a semblance of hope especially in the cauldron of violence that is the War Dome. They try to confuse the Gladiators with their fast moves and agility at first. You can sense the frustration of the crowd as the Dazzlers bounce around keeping away from harm’s reach but once Tano gets caught it’s the beginning of the end. He is thrown round the ring like a rag doll. He does manage to survive after Brute hit DECAPITATOR (or maybe Brute picked him up before the three to prolong the punishment). Brute soon hands off to Massacre who carries out more savage offense before using MASSACRE SLAM to end the suffering of the bloody Tano. Rama is then brutally thrown from the apron so Brute and Massacre can stand alone in the ring and enjoy the deafening sound of metal banging. The Gladiators have well and truly arrived. They have made it clear that to boost their reputation they will prey upon the weak before working their way to the tag titles. Can the Gamemasters or indeed any team stand up to them?
Teamwork grabs a brilliant win over Polarity. With the Code Enforcer having wrestled early Polarity (especially Sin) are on tenterhooks. Lucky for them the Code Enforcer is having some injuries treated. Not even the diabolical tactics of Sin wins approval from the Aethran crowd such is their disdain for outsiders. They may appreciate the violence but would still like nothing more than to see him torn apart by one of their own (am thinking a match between him and Wolf would of been great and really satisfied the crowd’s taste for blood). It doesn’t go particularly well for Sin. He tries to reach into the crowd and pick hold of a weapon that resembled a metal club but is refused and ends up being struck with it himself and opening a cut on his forehead. He then finds himself isolated in the ring for a long period before he falls to THE TEN COUNT from KO Keller
Hechilles wins against Krakan by DQ. Titanic battle between two guys on solid runs. Hechilles makes most of the running but Krakan is always doing clever things to break up the offensive moves and using the outside for stalling tactics to help him. Hechilles gets fed up and although he had tried hard to avoid getting involved in an out of ring brawl he eventually follows Krakan out. Krakan quickly picks up a discarded metal pipe and smashes it over Hechilles head just as he is sliding under the bottom rope. The match may be on Aethra but that still doesn’t mean you can do what you want and the ref rightly punishes him
Cosmos is too good for Mimic but so nearly blows his big advantage. The match was only booked as a ten minute match and Cosmos loses complete track of time as he lets anger cloud his thinking and keeps punishing Mimic rather than go in for the kill. Time is so nearly up when Cosmos suddenly comes to his senses and slaps on MASTERLOCK to win with seconds to spare. Wonder how Cosmos felt about being pushed to the lower depths of the card whilst his partner, Star Warrior, glams it up in the main event?
Blood battles to a hard fought win over Code Enforcer by DQ. Blood has always been seen as a bit of a hardcore icon which I guess is why he has caught the Code Enforcer’s attention. A classic grapple plays out which nearly boils over. Blood uses SCAR TISSUE a couple times but the Code Enforcer shows he’s going to be a real tough guy to beat by kicking out each time. The battle constantly spills out of the ring and goes on for almost 20 minutes. Really both men should of been given a DQ as they throw out the rulebook but it’s the Code Enforcer who cops it for throwing Blood over the rails and into the crowd. Knowing how dangerous this is on Aethra the ref decides that’s enough to warrant the end of the match. Blood thankfully manages to clamber out of the crowd unscathed!

***BREAKING NEWS***
KO Keller announces that he will retire. Quick quote “I figured it’s time to stop. My body is ageing and I am happy to step aside for the promising talent like the Titans and the Gamemasters to make their mark. Maybe I’ll return to the GWF one day in some capacity but for now I’m looking forward to a rest. I will cherish my time and am always proud to of reigned as your champion on two occasions”. His last match on #134.
Card 133 - Charon Ice Castle:
Big Superstar quickly pins Caiman following SUPERSTAR DROP to win the GWF belt. Build up dominated by rumour that Caiman will announce his retirement after the match which could plunge title into uncertainty. Maybe that plays a factor as he weakly surrenders the belt anyway. Big Superstar was somehow able to wrangle a rematch citing recent success against the then top contender Mighty Grogan. Poor Grogan bemused to of lost his top contender spot before he could even cash in on it now wants a shot at Big Superstar. As speculated Caiman announces in the ring with a heavy heart that this was his final GWF match. Meanwhile the belt is placed round Big Superstar’s waist and he goes on to flaunt it with a ten minute celebration in the ring. Most of the crowd departs leaving him to do his silly posedown to a half empty venue. Big Superstar eventually throws the belt over his shoulder and weeps as he heads down the runway convinced he is now the greatest thing in this or any other galaxy
Dragonfighter beats Krakan by DQ. Dragonfighter starts with an initial burst of energy that catches Krakan by surprise. Krakan thinks he has turned it around after a few minutes but then wilts under a second wave of martial arts attacks. He desperately has to scramble to kick out after TITAN DROP. Fearing the humiliation of a pin defeat Krakan seems to cause his DQ loss on purpose by pulling the ref in front of him as Dragonfighter comes at him
Vice gets one over the Code Enforcer again thanks to WICKEDNESS. This is about the only match Vice can get these days. Frantic action follows but Vice maintains the upper hand is now 2-0 against his stalking nemesis
KO Keller defeats Sin by DQ. Sin’s obsession with dragging the action into the runway backfired on him as KO Keller wins their brawls and later wins the match. Sin in his frustration kicks over expensive camera equipment and tears up cables before walking. He doesn’t even hear the ref administering the DQ decision. Later revelations that the Code Enforcer finally got Sin. The reports say Sin was in an ice bath soothing his muscles after the show was finished when the Code Enforcer appeared. He came up behind Sin with a towel and choked him into unconsciousness. Sin’s partner, Salvation, found him slumped in the bath and managed to get him out in the nick of time
Brute and Massacre crush the Deimos Dazzlers again. The poor Dazzlers come up against the Gladiators for a second time and must wonder what they did wrong (and they why agreed) to get put in a program seemingly designed to put Brute and Massacre over. Despite promises to give them a sterner test it’s all over with a few moves. Brute swats away Tano’s flying attacks and then hammers him with a flow blows before almost putting him through the mat with a slam. Rama just watches seemingly afraid to enter the ring and help his partner
Mimic gets another shock win over Wolf via MIME NERVE SLEEPER. Wolf fails to navigate Mimic who is so often a banana skin for supposed superior opponents. The victory stops the 100% winning record of the Gladiator team from moving along. There is some relief in the GWF as it shows they are vulnerable after all. Maybe the Gladiators are nothing without home advantage.
Card 134 - Charon Ice Castle:
Galaxian champ, Big Superstar, retains the belt in an epic against Mighty Grogan. Can scarcely believe Big Superstar is wearing the GWF belt. Grogan gets a chance to win it off him immediate and feels happy that his chance did not pass him by after all. Big Superstar is certainly not shy about putting his belt on the line so this could be the shortest reign in history. Everyone is rooting for Grogan and hoping that he can keep Big Superstar’s name out of the record books. He gives it everything he has got but Big Superstar just keeps coming back at him. It ends in disappointing manner for Grogan. Running out of ideas he goes to the top of the turnbuckle and is clearly out of his depth. Big Superstar gets up and surges towards him and in a feat of incredible strength presses him high over his head. He tosses Grogan down hard and hooks the leg for a cover. Grogan struggles but Big Superstar has got it locked in and holds on. Have to respect Big Superstar tonight for his showing. Maybe he is the real deal after all. Grogan is left alone in the ring whilst Big Superstar leaves on a cart clutching his title and crying out that the belt is now his property “My name is part of the hall of champions now. Nobody can change that. I did it for the fans dude!”
KO Keller wins an emotional match against Omega. Keller gets a guard of honour from some of the roster as he comes out. They pay tribute to and clap this brave veteran of the ring. He will go down in GWF folklore. His handpicked opponent for the final match is the legendary Omega. It’s KO Keller’s way of saying thank you to the fed founder. The match itself is a solid free flowing offering. Omega showing there is no room for sentiment by taking it to Keller. Seems about right given the occasion that Keller is able to turn it around and he wins after a second stab at THE TEN COUNT. The fans cheer him out. We hope to see him again some day
The Gamemasters defeat Lord Nexus and Dragonfighter in friendly non-title action. Lord Nexus fails to acknowledge the name but the newly formed GWI mag gives them the unofficial nickname of Titan Dawn. They look pretty good together but are no match for the experienced Gamemasters. Dragonfighter on the end of NOVA LAUNCH (which he kicked out of) and not too long after ENDGAME
Brute, Massacre and Wolf defeated Gang of Three by DQ. Hardcore taken to a new level. The match starts outside in a mass brawl and it ends in the same way. Sin is trying to protect an injury and decides to arm himself in the wake of a mauling from Brute and Massacre. No way ref can turn a blind eye to someone wielding a chain (where does Sin find these things). Things are heated enough but then the Code Enforcer shows up trying to attack both groups. It’s a chance to go after some of the most notorious rulebreakers in one hit but it’s a foolish move as he is quickly turned upon. Wolf flies at him with a clothesline and ends up on top of him. The others soon join in and all five men are pummelling him (Salvation stands back) and trying to tear his mask off but he managed to resist. Pulling a crowbar from a bag over his shoulder the Code Enforcer forces them back. He is limping but warns them all that he will strike again even if it means coming after them one by one
Krakan beats Hechilles with MILITARY MANUEVERS (third time lucky). Krakan trying to the bare minimum as he saves himself for GB10 but it’s a tougher test than he probably wanted. Shortly before the show he signed to face his huge rival Lord Nexus at the event in what will be their biggest meeting yet
Rama stuns Blood in just 2 moves. Blood is really off the boil these days. A kamikaze top rope attempt by Blood, as he tries to play the Dazzler at his own game, misses and hastens his demise. Rama quickly nails a backward elbow off the buckle and picks up a thrilling win.

GWF REPORT (2085 CARDS 131 - 134)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Big Superstar
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
Aethra finally invades the GWF! The Gladiator team consisting of Wolf, Brute and Massacre. Nobody has seen anything quite like this before. They have shocked fans with their violent brawling styles. They have seen brutal wrestling before from the likes of Ricken Prince, Screw, Santon & the Gang of Three but the Gladiators have taken things to a new level. Although now departed their arrival seems to be one of Morpheus’ last official acts. Wolf is a particularly interesting character as he is from Andromeda and served in the Animen Army before being discharged for frequent angry outbursts towards superior officers. He defected to Aethra which is significant due to their disdain for outsiders but on this occasion he was welcomed with open arms. Aethra see his recruitment as a symbol of a moral victory over the Animen. Along with Brute and Massacre he has trained for over a year preparing for the GWF. Everyone is shocked Omega has let them in now his co founder has left. Burdened with the weight of controlling an ever growing GWF (especially with Morpheus off the scene) he seems to be doing stuff against his better judgement.Cosmos reacts to the arrival of Brute and Massacre by saying “I’ve been a bit bored of being a tag champion”, some head scratching about how any could say such a thing but he continues “the level of competition has not been high enough so I welcome the arrival of Brute and Massacre. It will make our belts mean more to us if we can defeat them”.
On doctor’s advice Silvar has declined to return to the GWF. Many wrestlers want Vice out but he is continuing to squat and sign matches with anyone who will receive the challenge. Although there are signs that the arrival of the Code Enforcer is having an impact. His unpredictable movements are driving both Vice and Sin round the bend and making them hesitant about committing acts of atrocity. Having been attacked on #133 by the Code Enforcer and resulting injuries still impacting him Sin is worried for his safety.
Other exits from the GWF are KO Keller who says his body has taken more than enough punishment over his long career. In a touching moment many wrestlers (although not all of them) gave him a guard of honour at his farewell match. He is joined at the exit door by Caiman who wants to keep a low profile and is returning to his home planet Mangrove 25 to continue his wrestling career there. Both men have gone on record to say they are concerned about the new war-like GWF especially now that the Aethrans have joined the fed. With the retirement of KO Keller, Lord Nexus has recruited a fellow Titan, Dragonfighter, to be his ally and tag team partner. He describes Dragonfighter as a stalwart and great friend with whom he is proud to be in the GWF. Whilst both men are mainly singles wrestlers they have also registered themselves as a tag team. Lord Nexus says that they expect to be a very competitive team as they have practised extensively together and know how they each operate. They will be exciting to watch and hopefully be in the same mould as the hugely popular Deimos Dazzlers.
Omega responds to criticism for allowing the landscape of the fed to alter by resiliently saying things have got to change and evolve to ensure the success of the promotion and keep it’s status as the best wrestling show in the galaxy (they now have competitors - read further below). A deeper roster is badly needed to give challenges and match variety. He claims to still be very much in control and all wrestlers know and respect the rules. The attack from Vice is viewed as an isolated incident and just the result of a rivalry that got a little overheated. Not sure that Silvar will ever see it this that way.
Amazing drama surrounds the GWF belt. Big Superstar stunned the galaxy by winning it from Caiman and then holding off a challenge by Grogan. However he still seems to think wrestling should be staged as he complains Omega had promised him a long run with the belt but is now backtracking and trying to set him up to drop the belt by not allowing him to choose his own challengers and forcing him to step in the ring with Commander Sam (the new top contender). Big Superstar is determined not let his run become memorable for being so short and being remembered as nothing more than a transitional champ. He embarks on a big training plan which is all over GWF shows in readiness for the next opponent (which he hopes will not be Sam). However his worst fears are realised and it is confirmed that Commander Sam and Big Superstar will square off at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 10 main event in a no DQ match. Pretty clear the fans are backing Sam mainly. Sam wants to finally hold the big one to go along with his cherished Star Spangled strap. Big Superstar finally accepts that he is going to have to get in the ring with this guy and retorts “better get your skates on old man if you want that belt. Your not getting any younger. The GWF should get behind me. I am the future and can be their biggest star for many years to come”. Big Superstar is calling the match the Cosmic Challenge. Other GB10 battles ... The Gamemasters against Polarity with the tag belts on line; Code Enforcer goes against Vice in a Cosmic Cage match. No escaping for Vice in this brutal match; Lord Nexus and Krakan continue their heated rivalry one-on-one; Hechilles against Blood; plus Grogan, Wolf, Brute and Massacre will be in action.
The success of the GWF has spawned a few smaller wrestling territories. A few have been popping up throughout the known universe and although considerably smaller than Omega’s promotion they are turning a good profit. The popularity of wrestling is increasing all the time and allowing for this expansion. Some of the GWF stars are even turning out for these ‘indy’ feds to help them out. None of the GWF wrestlers are bound by contracts so at the moment are free to wrestle where and when they choose to do so. Fans of these local feds love it when GWF stars show up in the corner of the galaxy.
Newcomers - Dragon Fighter; Brute; Massacre; Wolf; Leaving - Silvar; KO Keller; Caiman

fun to see the new faces but a reminded that Classics is nearing an end at the same time. Nice win by Mimic over Wolf.

Yeah it’s funny how well Mimic does. I almost saw him as the kind that gets fed to the stars but he has picked up quite a few upset victories. Can’t remember his stats off top of my head but I think the fact he has A ratings for ropes and turnbuckle helps him. Wolf is looking revenge at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 10 and says he will tear him apart when they meet

Card 135 - GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 10 - Io Coliseum:
In the Cosmic Challenge, Commander Sam beats Big Superstar in a no DQ match to become the new Galaxian champ. Sam is mobbed on the way to the ring but then gets startled by flashing lights (a busload of followers arrived at the venue with Big Superstar on his ‘Big Battle Bus’ carrying cameras and some of them are seen trying to invade the front row at the start of the event) and is temporarily blinded. Big Superstar surely the culprit in getting some fans planted to pull this stunt. As a result Sam is disoriented at the match beginning taking lots of early punishment but it’s far from the smooth ride expected for Big Superstar after all the trouble he has gone to in trying to grab an advantage. Sam digs in and surges back. From there on in it’s dramatic all the way. Commander Sam goes for all his big moves including his finisher but Big Superstar keeps powering back from the brink. Then the referee takes a collision as Sam tries a deathjump. Not realising how hurt the ref is Sam goes for his finisher again but nobody is there to make the count. Sam desperately tries to revive the ref allowing Big Superstar a recovery and the chance to smash him from behind with Galactic belt (very heel like). The battle rages on but in a great finish Big Superstar is suddenly caught napping. He goes for a back drop after tossing Sam into the ropes. Quick as a flash Sam puts the brakes on, nails a Piledriver and then unleashes SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Big Superstar is stunned and doesn’t kick out. Sam has finally done it. He sinks to his knees as he is handed the belt and his name is announced as champion. Fireworks paint Commander Sam’s name in the sky. What a finish to a classic event. Big Superstar solemnly departs, for once he is lost for words
The Gamemasters overcome Polarity. The rivalry rumbles on but this has been downgraded to a non-title match. Polarity have fared so poorly in their title shots that the GWF just cannot justify recognising them as a top contending team. Maybe a win here could of changed that. Understandable disappointment from the fans that the belts are not being defended at an event of the magnitude of GB10. Even though their belts weren’t in any danger the Gamemasters still rise to the occasion. They withstood some heavy bombardment from Polarity and came through with the pin on Salvation after ENDGAME. Big celebrations expected but Cosmos refuses to share the stage with his partner and leaves. He is chased for comments, “what was the point? Star Warrior will get all the credit for our victory from his dad”. With the Gamemasters gearing for a confrontation with Brute and Massacre they need to be in better harmony
Cage match, Vice defeated the Code Enforcer. It’s a brutal meeting with the Code Enforcer battering Vice from the opening minute. Repeated cage smashes and CODE CROWBAR causing the blood to flow early. But Vice is agile and well suited to cage matches. He was helped the Code Enforcer’s preference for a stylish win of going over the top when he could probably of pinned Vice. It allowed Vice chances to pull him back. On one occasion Vice yanked him right from the top and it gave him a route into the bout. It then took WICKEDNESS on 3 occasions but it allowed him an escape chance which he took. Once safely over the top he saw the Code Enforcer exit the other side via the door and pick up his crowbar. Vice ran away like his life depended on it. He spent the rest of the show trying to keep away from the pursuing Code Enforcer. Vice may of beaten the Code Enforcer every time they have met but word is he is a gibbering wreck over the relentless attacks and wants out of the GWF
Mighty Grogan gets the better of Omega. Two GWF legends share the midcard. Great fan reaction and a very decent match. Everyone loves it when Omega pulls off TOMAHAWK THRUST and he managed to build up enough momentum here to get the move away but Grogan resisted the pin follow up. The failure seemed to take the steam out of Omega and gradually Grogan wore him down and pinned him with a Cobra Clutch Suplex
Lord Nexus posts his first singles win against Krakan. With no partner (his own doing) and the attempted raid on the tag belts going up in smoke Krakan now firmly has his sights on the GWF belt. His goal is to claim the belt before Lord Nexus does and show CTA-102 superiority over Titan scum. However his hopes will take a setback after this as Lord Nexus bounced back from a bad fall following a missed deathjump and MILITARY MANUEVERS to pin Krakan after a missile dropkick. The win is made even more impressive by the fact that Lord Nexus blew his knee out during his awkward fall and wrestled injured
Hechilles goes over Blood by DQ (glut of these outcomes in the opening matches perhaps showing how the GWF is beginning more violent). Blood is either beyond caring or just trying too hard but he continues his freefalling through the ranks. Never has an ex-champ slumped to such an extent. Hechilles will feel he’s dodged a bullet as he hadn’t come off too well in the out of ring brawl that led to Blood’s DQ
Mimic gets a win against Wolf by DQ but it’s meaningless. Wolf tears Mimic apart in response to his previous upset loss to him. Mimic is thrown from the ring, viciously assaulted with an array of weapons before passing out in pain whilst in the clutches of the Savage Face Claw. Wolf is happy to accept defeat just so he can make Mimic bleed. The Gladiators steadily making their presence felt
Brute and Massacre defeat the Deimos Dazzlers by DQ. Another mauling. Things were so bad for the Dazzlers that Rama pleaded with the ring announcer to sound the bell as his partner, Tano, was being battered by Brute. When the announcer refused Rama grabbed him by the collar pleading. This achieved what he wanted as the referee then brought an end to the match before either of the Dazzlers got injured. This programme between the two teams has run it’s course. The Dazzlers probably relieved. Brute and Massacre already making designs on the belts held by the Gamemasters as they aim to show Aethran supremacy.
***IN AND OUT OF THE RING***
Omega is getting geared up for his match with Wolf on #137. Journalists swarm all over the exercise gym as Omega works out on Cetus. He makes them wait til he has finished and grabs his towel before giving them a few words “ I know everyone is hoping I can stifle the Gladiator invasion and I will do my very best against Wolf but he is a very dangerous opponent. I will need all my wits about me and call upon all my experience. If I do that then I’ve got a chance. Must admit it’s exciting. Love the thrill of a new challenge and hopefully there is life in the old dog yet!” He then troops off for a swim leaving the reporters salivating for one of the biggest matches of the year.
Big Superstar strikes again as he hijacks a talk show and grabs the mic from the startled presenter. Not put off by recent GB10 and belt setbacks he claims he will continue his solo surge against all the rule breakers and in doing so work himself back into the title picture (having had a request for an immediate rematch refused). Thinking it will be a big hit with the studio fans he stands back to soak up the applause but is deeply offended when there is mostly silence. He then tries to win them over making a fanciful gesture by handing out ‘Superstar Rules’ bracelets to kids in the first few rows but many just got thrown back. The studio is soon littered with discarded bracelets as Big Superstar trudges away shaking his head “I don’t get these people”. It’s hard to feel sorry for him

Card 136 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Big Superstar overcomes Krakan with SUPERSTAR DROP. Krakan comes up in the firing line of the Big Superstar as part of a tirade against evil in the GWF. Big Superstar says he is doing this because the Code Enforcer is not doing his job properly. Even against the biggest rulebreakers Big Superstar struggles to get the balance right and get total support. The match itself is quite even with Big Superstar managing his unusual habit of coming back strong and not selling his opponent’s heavy offense. Indeed he kicks out of MILITARY MANUEVERS which is a good achievement as not many guys have done that. Things continue and with a lack of decent wrestling it becomes a bit drawn out and dull. The last couple of minutes are on the clock but Big Superstar cranks up the pace enabling him to put his big finish on Krakan
Wolf beat Code Enforcer with DECAPITATOR but still prefers the Savage Face Claw (which he tried to put over as a finisher during this match). Wolf restoring his reputation after the blip against Mimic. The Code Enforcer had put Wolf on his radar due to the actions at GB10 but unlike the Gang of Three it seems the Gladiators have the appetite to take everything he can throw at them
Salvation and Vice easily beat the Deimos Dazzlers. Attacks on Sin are taking their toll meaning Vice partners Salvation tonight. Word is Vice only arrived seconds before the curtain call as he does not want to be at the venue any longer than possible due to the proximity of the Code Enforcer. Luckily for him Salvation could probably of coped on his own such was his level of dominance over Tano. He just kept trying FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP until it worked
Lord Nexus and Dragon Fighter (aka Titan Dawn) dramatically beats Brute and Massacre. Even though Lord Nexus is nursing a knee injury the Titans match the Gladiators despite their big power disadvantage. However it looks like a predictable outcome as Massacre is about to pin Lord Nexus following DECAPITATOR. Suddenly the Code Enforcer shows up to spoil their party. Brute climbs into the ring to confront him but the ref escorts him back. Whilst this is going on the Code Enforcer jumps on the back of Massacre’s head with a hard knee and reverses the pin attempt to cause a shock win for the Titans
Star Warrior pinned Blood following NOVA LAUNCH. Just about sums up Blood’s fortunes at the moment. He’s the one making most of the running but it’s Star Warrior who these the victory
Omega defeated Mimic with TOMAHAWK THRUST. What a thriller. Lost count of the amount of missed deathjumps in the match. It made for a lot of exciting near pins. Word is that Omega had it in his mind to make Mimic top contender to the GWF belt in light of his many upset victories. Unwittingly Mimic failed his big audition.
Card 137 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, the Gamemasters, keep the belts out the clutches of Brute and Massacre. Big test for the Gamemasters but they come through with flying colours. With the tag division still a little thin on the ground Brute and Massacre have powered their way to a title shot already having destroyed the Deimos Dazzlers (three times) and mauled Titan Dawn (only to narrowly lose thanks to the Code Enforcer). The feeling is that this was the night that the Gamemasters would finally drop the belts but Cosmos is right at the top of his game. He totally outwrestles Brute and even attempts MASTERLOCK. Brute’s massive legs means the move is less effective and he gets away with it. Brute eventually gets the defensive tag but Massacre doesn’t fare too much better. The Gamemasters putting their differences behind them to link up in style. Although despite dominating it is a slightly fortuitous way to win as Cosmos gets put down and seems to roll out the way of a turnbuckle leap from Massacre. He didn’t know too much about it but is alert enough to make a cover. Brute then comes in to try and drop an elbow on Cosmos but is too slow. Cosmos moves and Brute just ends up landing it on Massacre instead. The Gamemasters get away quickly afterwards as they know the Aethran war machine has been riled by this in ring humiliation
Wolf overcomes Omega. Everyone expecting Omega to get absolutely creamed but the old master uses his experience to offer up a decent amount of resistance. The match moves towards 10 minutes before Wolf starts moving through the gears. A big elbow off the turnbuckle finally getting the pin fall. Omega gets to his feet and tries to offer Wolf a handshake (sensing Wolf is the more approachable of the Aethrans) but gets snubbed
Blood beats Sin in a walkover. Sin looking stiff as a board with injury still a problem. He gets crushed within just three moves and barely half a minute gone
Deimos Dazzlers defeated Titan Dawn as Rama upsets Dragon Fighter. Big boost in front of the home crowd for the Dazzlers. The Titan duo has enjoyed early successes and were waiting in the wings for a possible title shot at the winner of the Gamemasters-Brute and Massacre match. This surprise defeat may of changed those plans
Commander Sam and Hechilles beat Big Superstar and Mighty Grogan by DQ. Surprising link up of Grogan and Big Superstar and they get nicknamed as the Musclemen. Playing the role Big Superstar brings some weights into the ring and does a workout delaying the match starting. Grogan looks exasperated with him. Big Superstar’s over sized ego prevents this team working well. Although they face the potential tricky duo of Sam and Hechilles it’s clearly another team thrown together at the last minute. Neither team looks good. The saying of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing seems particularly apt. So a messy match plays out with lots of blunders, missed tags and double team mishaps. Then Big Superstar goes and gets his team disqualified for grabbing a weight and striking Sam with it. Sam is concussed and Grogan stays with him in the ring with him to check he will be ok. Big Superstar walks off waving at the fans and later proclaims “yeah dude. The Musclemen are going after the tag belts” but Grogan retorts “no way. If he thinks I’m teaming with him again then he is deluded”
Salvation goes over Marcel de Sade thanks to FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP which continues to be a very effective move. Salvation just far too technically gifted for de Sade to cope with.

***IN THE NEWS***
A huge beast known as Dark Star Creature has been trialling in dark matches at various venues. Omega has told it’s manager, Beast-Rider, that he is ready to put it on the main shows. Big Superstar has demanded that he be the first opponent. As an ex-champion he believes that all the privileges associated still belong to him, “I will take on this monster and then regain the belt that Sam stole from me. They can’t deny me a title shot. The BIG in my name always stood for ‘Bringing in Greatness’ but now I’ve conquered the GWF it means ‘Best in Galaxy’. Nothing can stop me on my road to domination. Not even something as huge as the Dark Star Creature”. Other wrestlers scoff at his comments and hope he fails miserably (even the Gladiators are looking at him closely)!
Speaking of the Gladiators. They are currently the latest object of the Code Enforcer’s attentions. He gave them plenty to think about when he attacked Brute and Massacre on #136 and was instrumental in their first loss whilst up against Titan Dawn. He then fought an incredible match straight after against Wolf but ultimately lost. It’s a brave man to stand up to them. Maybe this time he has bitten off more than he can chew.
Card 138 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Big Superstar defeated Dark Star Creature. Sensing the mood of the fans Big Superstar starts one of his over the top charismatic ring entrances. The fans really turn on him. He has got on their nerves so much that they suddenly pelt him with bottles as he tries yet another charismatic ring entrance. One smashes against his forehead causing him to bleed turning his bleached blond hair red. Big Superstar seems very bothered but tries to get on with the bout. It’s a frustrating battle to watch. Dark Star Creature constantly throwing Big Superstar outside and then at one point following him out and getting confused to the point it was almost counted out. Big Superstar used this confusion to steal an advantage. As Dark Star Creature re-enters the ring it gets ambushed and Big Superstar manages to hurt it. Big Superstar then makes a huge deal of the fact he is about to try and bodyslam the Creature, gesturing the crowd and then going nuts when he actually does it. Seems to forget that Grogan has already wrestled this Creature in dark matches and done this a few times. He goes for the cover and Dark Star Creature just lays there staring at the arena lights. Big Superstar celebrates wildly but hears nothing but silence when the ring announcer proclaims him the winner. He looks shocked and then his cut starts to bleed again and he remembers how it happened. Just might be the final straw for Big Superstar who runs out of the ring and is seen leaving Deimos just minutes later. Bit of drama with the Dark Star Creature after the match as there is a bit of media curiousity about it. It freaks out as too many reporters crowd round and picks two of them up throwing them against the wall before Beast-Rider manages to calm it down. Beast-Rider avoids repercussions by offering the two injured guys lifetime free passes to his galactic zoo
Star Warrior overcame Wolf via NOVA LAUNCH. Wolf showed up to the match looking like he’d already been in an altercation (did the Code Enforcer get to him earlier?) with some cuts and dripping with sweat. Star Warrior makes the most of this by showing a surprising level of domination. Some unhappiness reported in the moments before the match up with Cosmos and Omega appearing to be arguing as Star Warrior has to leave to face Wolf. Sounds like Cosmos wanted this gig as he tries to build up his singles rankings and feels Omega is heavily favouring his own son over him
Cosmos wins a classic over Brute. Cosmos has 5 fatigue tokens and Brute has 6 at the climax. Absolutely rocking match up that leaves the crowd applauding for several minutes at the end. Massacre is at ringside and Cosmos does amazing to cope. He was hit with DECAPITATOR three times and at one point was pushed right off the turnbuckle by Massacre whilst he was mounted. He came through all this and hit the powerful Brute with everything he had. Showing all his skills, wrestling ability, good brawling and decent power to deal with his larger opponent. He smashed Brute with an awesome shoulder breaker and the big Gladiator went down like a stack of cards. Massacre looked on shocked as Cosmos covered his partner to win
Massacre finished off Mighty Grogan with DECAPITATOR. Poor Grogan started well enough but Massacre ramped up the violence and the tide soon changed. The fans were urging Grogan to play Massacre at his own game but he refused. Ultimately it costs him but even under extreme provocation Grogan will never bend the rules. “I don’t mean to go against the wishes of my fans but I take my beatings like a man and get revenge by winning against any ring rival fair and square”
Polarity defeats Titan Dawn. With Lord Nexus still injured Dragonfighter tries to take most of the bumps for his partner. Unfortunately he gets caught out by Salvation’s expertise. “No problem” says Lord Nexus, “its all part of the learning curve”
Omega shows he can still turn it on as he handles newcomer Marcel de Sade. Didn’t take too long before he set off on his thrilling Cosmic War Dance to overwhelm de Sade. Great reaction in the arena to the old favourite winning. Shame it doesn’t happen so often these days.

GWF REPORT (2085 CARDS 135 - 138)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Commander Sam
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
Omega has announced that the GWF will be stepping up it’s televised schedule from next month with two shows every month increasing the current number of shows from 12 to 24. Of course the GWF promotes plenty of shows around the galaxy (dark matches) but the increased TV exposure will help bring wresting to a wider audience. It will also mean the belts are defended far more frequently. A popular move with fans around the galaxy. From it’s humble beginnings it has now grown into one of the premier sports. A proud achievement. He also made a huge announcement to try and prevent the GWF becoming a feud-ridden battleground. In a news conference on Deimos flanked by the Code Enforcer he presented the GALAXIAN CODE. The consequences of this is that virtually every wrestler is refusing to sign matches against the sadistic Vice except the Code Enforcer. Vice has been trying to duck the Code Enforcer ever since he joined and faced with this ongoing situation has done a runner back to Pleiades. The cage beating (even though he won) he took at GB10 seems to be catalyst for his departure. This is a good thing for the GWF because it is widely speculated that Vice is a pupil of Jack Hood and had been sent to the GWF to cause trouble in the fed that essentially destroyed his teacher’s POW. Despite Vice’s departure Polarity are remaining in the fed as wrestlers have stated the boycott does not apply to them. Whilst Sin is a nasty cheapshooting type Salvation’s good tendencies cancel him out and they are thought of as a neutral team. Another impact stemming from the code is the Code Enforcer has announced he will be a freelance policeman in the GWF. He will wrestle here and there but he has vowed that any time a wrestler acts in opposition to the code he will be on the scene to punish them. He has already incurred the rage of Brute and Massacre for costing them a match. Almost everyone (apart from the Gladiators) fears the Code Enforcer and the creation of the code has shown a shadowy side to Omega. It is now pretty obvious Omega was behind the Code Enforcer’s arrival to the GWF long before the code was even created (could it be Morpheus under that mask?).
Big Superstar has left the GWF claiming he wasn’t appreciated in his time. Most observers just think he is embarrassed he can’t back up his big talk. Even when the belt was more or less handed to him on a plate he lost it almost immediately. Maybe where he came from he is a hugely successful star and has the charisma to pull the crowds but in the GWF such prima donna behaviour doesn’t wash. The fans are smarter than that. Whatever the reasons Big Superstar certainly isn’t out of pocket from his time in the GWF having been paid huge sums for performing. Word is he was the only guy who had a contract written up. He couldn’t even get any support on his exit as he claims he was just passing through as the GWF saviour and with his work done stages a promo with expensive CGI. It was supposed to show him walking off into the sunset ready to dominate another system but just as reaches the end there is blue screen error with ‘something went wrong’ written in text. The scene sure to appear on GWF’s funniest moments if a montage of them ever gets made. Commander Sam fresh from winning this feud (and the belt) says good riddance calling Big Superstar a flash in the pan with no real wrestling talent. Sam is now ready to begin a new rivalry and thinks Wolf will be a good candidate for some heated battles.
The brutal style of the Gladiators is turning heads as they mow down the opposition. So far (apart from an early battle against the Gang of Three) they are not showing signs of banding together with Wolf very much focused on singles action and Brute and Massacre on tag teaming. You wouldn’t even think they were part of a possible team as they also conduct all interviews separately. The early battles pitting Brute and Massacre against the Gamemasters have been captivating with the experienced Gamemasters just holding the edge. Wolf has been slightly problematic for the Gladiators as he does not like using DECAPITATOR (which they want to be a trademark) and prefers to fight in his own style. He thinks SAVAGE FACE CLAW is a better finisher and does not enjoy wearing face paint and Gladiator uniform. Trouble ahead? In fact Wolf has something of a cult following and Omega has noticed this. He promises fans he will booked heavily over the next few cards starting with a program against Commander Sam.
In final news, Omega is being driven dippy by Cosmos with whom he has a public spat over his role in the team. Cosmos audibly shouts at Omega “don’t lie to me” before Omega manages to hush him. Although Omega eventually smooths things over and the two men actually share a hug by the end it seems Cosmos has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He sees Omega as a father and perhaps like any child might is frustrated that his partner/sibling is more favoured. Whatever the reason for this it seems both Omega and Cosmos are under a heap of pressure.
Top performers of the year summary. Commander Sam goes over the retired Caiman. Thankfully Big Superstar’s belt win didn’t push him close to the prize. Most in the industry recognised that he didn’t really deserve both his title shots and once he won it from a demotivated Caiman he quickly lost it again. Nobody can deny the Gamemasters being top tag team again. They may be struggling a little to get along but they notch up another year as the champs on what is an incredible title reign. Since getting hold of the belts they just haven’t looked like dropping them. Rifling through my notes reveals the reign stands at 41 cards (surpassing the 3 year mark several cards ago). Brute and Massacre storm to the runners up spot despite only being around for half the year. They look about the only viable contenders to dethroning the Gamemasters at the moment. In the popularity stakes the crowds mark out for Lord Nexus. His noble values are appreciated every time he wrestles and he showed an inspirational effort to beat Krakan at GB10. He also has suffered numerous injuries since being in the GWF but never complains and always wrestles on. The Code Enforcer has picked up a decent following too. The way he has hounded some of the biggest rule breakers has been both controversial and exciting. Most hated had a long list of contenders but the biggest disdain is reserved for Big Superstar. Krakan perhaps a surprise to be more disliked than Vice but this could be because the Pleiades hooligan is now out of the GWF.
INJURED - Lord Nexus (1)
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Commander Sam (runner up: Caiman) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – The Gamemasters (runners up: Brute and Massacre) MOST POPULAR – Lord Nexus (runner up: The Code Enforcer) MOST HATED – Big Superstar (runner up: Krakan)
