A sorta re-start of my long dormant GWFZ fed. It will start with a very small roster that will probably change often but it will be a place to roll the dice and see what happens.'GWFZ' presents 'A New Zeginning' --The opener saw Blue Tornado score a win over Varsity w/ Justin Case w/ the TORNADO DISCUSS. Justin missed Varsity cry for help as he was talking on his cosmic cell phone and was a fraction too late for the save. Varsity was visibly upset afterwards. -- Rolex def. Sledgend w/ MOMENTO MORI. Sledgend dominated early but Rolex rolled out of the the way of SHATTERING DEVASTATION. Rolex hit TICKING CLOCK a few moves later but it didn't seem to hurt Sledgend. However, five moves later, Rolex explodes out of nowhere w/ MOMENTO MORI for the finish. Justin Case was apparently scouting the match. --In what turned out to be a 4-star tag team encounter, Morbid/La Vuelta beat Harm/Cardiak after La Vuelta choked Harm out w/ CHOKE TRASERO de DESNUDO. Cardiak is a new recruit for Master Assassin and turned in a good showing in his first match teaming with Harm. Harm/Cardiak trapped La Vuelta in the ring for a long time and La Vuelta survived Harm's triple finishers. La Vuelta rolled through a deathjump by Harm and knocked Harm silly with Ground & Pound before locking in his finisher to get the win. Morbid was not happy that he was not in the ring for the last 10-minutes of the match and had words with La Vuelta afterwards. --In what could be deemed an upset, Death Knight III def. Crow w/ Run The Gauntlet. Master Assassin has promised to run Crow out of the Z and used every trick in his arsenal to get the win for his guy in this match. Harm was the deciding factor as he teamed up w/ DKIII to hit PLANNED ASSASSINATION as the referee's back was turned. DKIII followed with Run The Gauntlet for the finish. --In the Main Event, Silverback continues his feud w/ Pandamonium w/ a win over the big panda following UNTAMED GORILLA. The two squared off before the match like two Grand Champion sumo wrestlers as they growled at each other and went through their pre-match rituals. Neither animal gained the upperhand for the first few minutes but Panadamonium drew first blood w/ a Japanda Splash. The two ent toe-to-toe before Silverback was able to violently throw Panadamonium into the turnbuckle w/ a Merry-Go-Round. Pandamonium charged out of the corner but got dropped w/ a King Kong Lariat. Silverback followed w/ UNTAMED GORILLA for the finish.

GWFZ: ANZ #2 ....The 'Powers That Be' released a statement confirming the singles & tag team titles would be determined in a 7-man & 4-team 'Championship Scramble Match' on Card #6....Entrants will be determined by qualifying matches on Cards #2 - #4 & the 7th spot will be determined in a 15-person Battle Royal on Card #5....--In the opener, Titan Bulldogs and The Legion (Jupiter/Mars) battled to a TIME LIMIT DRAW in a great matchup. Both teams had several chances to win the match but couldn't get the job done. Afterwards, the team of Lt Yusef/Grash destroyed the Bulldogs as The Legion just stood by and watched. --In a match that saw a lucha clinic in aerial moves & suicide planchas, Death Knight III def. Blue Tornado w/ the COSMIC LANCE to advance to the Singles Championship Scramble Match. DKIII used a momentary distraction by Harm to hit the move behind the referee's back. --For the second straight match, Harm/Cardiak worked very well as a tag team. They def. Arial Foundation after Cardiak hits CARDIAK KILLER followed by PLANNED ASSASSINATION on Flash for the finish. Harm/Cardiak advance to the Tag Team Championship Scramble Match. --In the Main Event, Strong faced Pride in a highly anticipated matchup. The referee went down in the match and Strong hit STRONG! shortly after. However, the referee wasn't there to make the count. A frustrated Strong went to the top but leaped right into the PATRIOT MISSILE. A rejuvenated Pride followed w/ the PUMP HANDLE SLAM to score the win and a spot in the Singles Championship Scramble. Afterwards, Pride offered a handshake but Strong was having none of that. Strong could be overheard telling Pride that he hasn't seen the last of Strong. ....During the traditional press conference that follows the shows, the 'PTB' sent out a message detailing that they will come to a consensus concerning the TLD that happened in tonight's first match & let everyone know their plan of action....

GWFZ: ANZ #3 --Our opener saw Lone Star def. Irish Bratz w/ the STAY STRONG SUPERKICK. Afterwards, Irish Heat charged the ring but was cut off by Ares. The two brawled around ringside as Lone Star & Irish Bratz brawled in the ring. The two brawls were separated but not before challenges were thrown out from both sides. --For a spot in the Singles Championship Scramble Match, Rolex def. Varsity w/ MOMENTO MORI. Once again, Justin Case seemed to be distracted during the match, this time w/ a lovely lady sitting at ringside. Varsity tried to get Justin's attention to break up the pin attempt but once again, Justin was a fraction to late. Rolex moves on to the SCSM. Varsity was irate at his manager afterwards. Justin tried to get him calmed down by promising to get him a spot in the Battle Royal on Card #5. However, Varsity didn't seem to pleased and stomped to the back. Once Varsity was gone, Justin handed Rolex his card and mimed 'call me.' -- Venusian Guard def. Sons of Capricorn after they drop Ibex w/ the JEWEL OF THE SKY. VG dominated throughout the match and never looked in danger of losing the match. VG advance to the Tag Team Championship Scramble Match. --In the Main Event, Morbid squared off against La Vuelta for a spot in the SCSM. A great match that saw La Vuelta turn MORBID CRUEL into CHOKE TRASERO de DESNUDO for the finish. La Vuelta will now advance to the SCSM. Afterwards, La Vuelta offered his hand in a show of sportsmanship but was met with a huge windup Roaring Elbow. Morbid hauled La Vuelta up for the GTS before walking to the back to a loud jeer from the crowd.

GWFZ: ANZ #4 --In the opener, Assassin's Creed def. Lt Yousef/Grash when Kanazawa hit Yousef w/ HELL'S RUN. The finish came after Grash got away w/ STEEL BELTING on Akuma but Yousef wanted to make the cover and tagged himself in. This allowed Akuma to spray Yousef w/ Ninja Mist. A quick tag to Kanazawa sets up the finish. Afterwards, an irate Yousef blasted Grash w/ the butt of his rifle & dropped Grash w/ the CTA CRUSHER. Master Assassin is absolutely ecstatic that he has two Assassin teams in the TTCSM. --In a wild, donny-brook, Ares/Lone Star def. Irish Heat/Irish Bratz by DQ after Irish Heat blasted both Ares & Lone Star w/ vicious chair shots. Security had to race to the ring to prevent further damage to Ares/Lone Star. --For a spot in the SCSM, Exzutioner def. Pandamonium w/ repeated THUMBSCREWS. The finish came as Silverback's theme music blared over the PA, however, when Pandamonium turned around nobody came out. This gave Exzuctioner the advantage that he never gave up. --In the Main Event for the 6th spot in the SCSM, Dr Payne def. Silverback w/ PAYNE GAME. This one ended in controversy as well as Pandamonium's theme music blared out but a single message scrolled across the Z-tron.... ....The Message Will Be Delivered.... This gave Dr Payne a chance to drill Silverback w/ a pair of brass knux and finish w/ PAYNE GAME. Afterwards, Pandamonium hit the ring and crushed the downed Silverback w/ the ANDROMEDA DESTROYER to end the show.

....Thanks for the comment Mike. I'm glad you're enjoying my version of the Z.... GWFZ: ANZ #5 ....Tonight's lineup features the Titan Bulldogs vs The Legion (Jupiter/Mars) for the 4th and final spot in the TTCSM and a 15-person Battle Royal to determine the 7th and final entrant into the SCSM.... --In the opener, The Legion def. the Titan Bulldogs w/ RISE AND FALL on Son of Saturn. The Titans was a great display of tag team wrestling with quick tags and double team moves that kept their opponents off balance. However, Tiberius Cota made an appearance on behalf of The Legion to swing the tide. Cota tripped up SoS and Jupiter/Mars followed w/ RISE & FALL for the finish. The Legion advance as the 4th team in the TTCSM. -- 15-person Battle RoyalParticipants: Crow, Blue Tornado, Varsity, Strong, Lt Yusef, Grash, Ares, Irish Heat, Irish Bratz, Lone Star, Morbid, Pandamonium, Silverback, Sledgend, and Scar. Order of Elimination: Irish Heat (eliminated by Ares/Lone Star)Irish Bratz (eliminated by Lone Star)Ares (eliminated by Silverback)Sledgend (eliminated by Silverback)Lt Yusef/Grash (eliminated by Scar)Morbid (eliminated by Blue Tornado)Silverback/Pandamonium (double elimination)Lone Star (eliminated by Scar)Blue Tornado (eliminated by Varsity)Varsity (eliminated by Crow)Scar (eliminated by Strong)Strong (eliminated by Crow)Winner: CrowNotes: The feud of Irish Heat/Irish Bratz vs Ares/Lone Star took center stage early on but it was Ares/Lone Star who would come out on top. Lt Yusef/Grash pounded on each other until Scar dumped both to the outside. That didn't stop the duo from brawling to the back though. Morbid was a big disappointment as he was eliminated before half-way through the match. La Vuelta came out but was shoved away by Morbid as he sulked to the back. Once again, 'The Message Will Be Delivered' scrolled across the Ztron, catching Silverback's attention. Pandamonium caught Silverback with a spear and both wrestlers tumbled over the top to the floor. Pandamonium didn't let up as he beat up Silverback before security could stop it. The final came down to Scar, Strong, and Crow as Strong plowed Scar w/ STRONG! and tossed him to the floor. On his way to the back, Scar seemed to notice two fans sitting at ringside and started jawing w/ them. The duo resembled two up & coming Aethrans out of the Aethran Fight League. The final came down to Crow and Strong. The two battled back and forth as there is no love lost between these two. Strong looked like he had won the BR but Crow was able to hang on and pull himself back into the ring. From there, Strong missed a running turnbuckle charge, Crow hit the DEATHSAULT, and tossed Strong to the floor to earn the BR win. Crow will be the 7th and final entrant into the SCSM on Card #6.

GWFZ: ANZ #6 ....We start the show w/ Scar coming down to ringside....The Aethran duo from Show #5 are ringside again....Scar doesn't say anything but simply points at them....This seems to set the duo off as they hop the railing, sliding into the ring....A shoving match ensues between the three until GWF veteran, Havoc slides into the ring....Havoc stands by Scar's side as the duo fist bump....Scar steps up & goes nose-to-nose w/ the taller of the new Aethran duo....
....But gets blindsided by Havoc....Havoc picks Scar up and the three deliver a crushing triple spike Gladiator Piledriver before the new Aethran duo pick Scar up & deliver a soul-crushing Drop Toe-Hold/Top Rope Spear combo that bends Scar in half....Havoc introduces the new duo as Torment & Category Five, collectively known as Aethran Soldiers....Havoc finishes by saying they are the new force of tag team wrestling in ANZ....--Our first match of the show sees Irish Heat/Irish Bratz battle Ares/Lone Star as Lone Star misses DYING STAR that leads to the CELTIC EYE BOMB from Bratz for the finish. This one is far from over as Heat holds Ares, Bratz repeatedly slaps Ares in the face before security can intervene. -- Silverback faced Pandamonium in another installment of the feud that has the most bad blood this side of the galaxy. However, the ending was inconclusive as we finally find out who is behind the mysterious 'The Message Will Be Delivered' message. The duo were beating each other up when the message scrolled across the Ztron. The lights went out & when they came back up, Marcus Colby was flanked by The Saint & this behemoth of a humanoid introduced as Fortress. Colby absolutely hates all Andromedians & plans to rid ANZ of Silverback/Pandamonium in short order. As Colby was talking, Fortress drops both Andromedians w/ DRAWBRIDGE to close the segment. --We fill the vacant ANZ tag titles in a 4-team Tag Team Championship Scramble Match featuring Harm/Cardiak vs The Legion vs Assassin's Creed vs Venusian Guard. Venusian Guard eliminate Assassin's Creed w/ QUICK & PAINFUL on Akuma The Legion eliminate Harm/Cardiak after hitting RISE & FALL on Cardiak as the Assassin duo can't hit PLANNED ASSASSINATION. Venusian Guard win the titles after hitting Mars w/ VENUSIAN BURIAL to eliminate The Legion Notes: Trickery from Venusian Guard & The Legion saw Harm/Cardiak start the match against Assassin's Creed as Master Assassin was beside himself as being fooled. The two teams went after each other until Venusian Guard tagged themselves into the match. VG dominated their smaller opponents before eliminating the 1st Assassin team w/ QUICK & PAINFUL. Harm/Cardiak go toe-to-toe against The Legion until the Assassin's can't hit PLANNED ASSASSINATION. This leads to bickering between the two Assassins, giving The Legion time to hit RISE & FALL on Cardiak. The final two teams go at each other w/ reckless abandon before Apollo counters a Mars' running powerbomb into a corkscrew facebuster. It was academic after that as Venusian Guard pull out a stunning VENUSIAN BURIAL to win the match & the titles. --Our Main Event sees the vacant ANZ championship filled in a 7-man Championship Scramble Match featuring Crow vs Pride vs Dr Payne vs Exzcutioner vs Death Knight III vs La Vuelta vs Rolex. Exzcutioner eliminates La Vuelta w/ THUMBSCREW. Crow eliminates Death Knight III w/ the ARABIAN FACEBUSTER. Pride eliminates Rolex w/ PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAM. Exzcutioner eliminates Pride w/ KILLSTROKE. Crow eliminates Exzcutioner w/ a jaw-dropping DEATHSAULT. Dr Payne eliminates Crow w/ PAYNE GAME to win the match & the title. Notes: La Vuelta emerged from the curtain arguing w/ Morbid. Morbid crushed La Vuelta w/ a huge chair shot, throwing La Vuelta into the ring where Exzcutioner hits him w/ THUMBSCREW. Crow gets a measure of revenge against DKIII as DKIII missed COSMIC LANCE giving Crow the opening he needed to eliminate DKIII. Rolex targets Pride but gets cocky w/ MEMENTO MORI as Pride hits PRIDE PUMP HANDLE SLAM three moves after Rolex went for TICKING CLOCK. Immediately after Pride eliminated Rolex, Exzcutioner went right after Pride. Pride couldn't meet the sheer brutality of his opponent & gets eliminated w/ KILLSTROKE. Crow & Exzcutioner just went after each other as these two were the most active in the match. The tokens added up but eventually Crow pulls out an awesome DEATHSAULT to eliminate the last Assassin. Up until now, Dr Payne had only been in the ring for a total of 10 moves as he avoided everybody. However, he went after Crow, who by now was bleeding heavily from a forehead cut. However, Crow turns the tables & proves to be the legend he is. Crow climbs the turnbuckles all set for the DEATHSAULT but blue smoke comes out from underneath the ring before the lights go off & a familiar gong sounds. The lights come back up with.... Tombstone ....hoisting Crow up for the TOMBSTONE. As quickly as he appeared, Tombstone is gone as Nurse Elizabeth revives Dr Payne & the referee. Dr Payne hits PAYNE GAME to win the match & the title.
