It nice to see it finally be released in a few months, but because it will only be in printable PDF i will pass on purchasing this. I will just stick with the matches avaliable here for free, i would have paid for a book with the matches but understand why a PDF is being the only way this can be released, too bad though. I hear ya man and don't blame you if you don't. I'm one who doesn't mind a .pdf file, as long as it is "cheaper" than a printed version. I'm able to print things out myself, which I can understand if some can't. That would get frustration. But, and I"m in the minority, wouldn't mind for more things to be released via .pdf file if we get more stuff.

The other problem I have with PDF is why would I pay for the ringside companion, when I can just use the free ones on this board, it doesn't make sense to only have a PDF.

I don't understand why a printable version would be so hard to produce. It's already being formatted for a .pdf, so I would imagine that it's in "book form" anyway. A service like lulu.com could easily be implemented. They'll print an entire volume, even if it's just one copy and the prices are reasonable. Prices and profit could be based around the cost of production. They would be printed one at a time when ordered and take about 2 weeks to arrive. If somebody wanted it, they'd pay, if not, they won't and nothing would be lost. About all that would have to be done is design a cover.
Another thing, I don't quite understand the necessity for this on the surface. Is it just a comprehensive collection of matches in game booklets, ringside companions, and charts that were sold individually? Is there anything new? And if there is, where did it come from? I don't recall a "casting call" from game players to submit their matches for consideration, and I doubt Tom is taking the time out to create a plethora a new matches. So if the new stuff is just the ideas of the couple of guys who are formatting this, who sat in a room cranking out a bunch of matches for no other reason than filler, then I don't think I'll have very much interest in it myself.
