Anyone else here going to see Suicide Squad this weekend? Since I don't work tomorrow, I am going to see it tonight in just over an hour up the street at the Sun Coast Casino.

I'm going tomorrow and I'm amp'd for this one. I was a big fan of the first series and even purchased the Suicide Squad that was the prelude to the Villain version...

I really enjoyed this movie. How did this movie only get 27% on Rotten Tomatoes!

because people have been trained to love Marvel movies and hate DC movies.

I'm a bit obsessed with the gorgeous Margot Robbie but I think I'll stick to Neighbours reruns to catch a glimpse.

because people have been trained to love Marvel movies and hate DC movies. Which is nothing more than bulls*** posturing. Makes me hate Marvel for no good reason.

I really enjoyed this movie. How did this movie only get 27% on Rotten Tomatoes! I did too. Despite what the critics may say or think, I for one think the DCEU of films is off to a fine start. I also loved Batman vs. Superman.

Again, despite some critics claiming the film is "sexist", Harley Quinn is portrayed as so much more than eye candy. Those critics are the same losers who bitch when there's a lack of a woman lead in these films. Sometimes I guess you just can't win.

Interested to see what you guys thought of Jared Leto's Joker...I didn't hate him, but didn't love him either. Then again, I am extremely partial to Heath Ledger. The Dark Knight is my fave comic film of all-time, in no small part due to Ledger's phenomenal portrayal of comics' greatest villain. Found Leto wasn't "unstable" or maniacal enough for my taste, almost like he played it too cool. Definitely would not lose sleep if the role was recast for future films.

Ledger's Joker would be impossible to replicate so Leto had to do something different.
