Some well thought out picks, Crossbones... All things being equal, I would probably have picked all the same outcomes... And it would make for a decent face/heel ratio going into the next round as well... The matches have all been rolled and I'm getting ready to post the results... Thank you for helping me reach this milestone of 1000 posts, my friend... Much appreciated!

GWF 59: Event Horizon (Part 2) 2089.09 from Virgo
Adam Blast vs. Vanity (w/ Sweet Thing) Vanity defeated Adam Blast with a flying fist at 7:22 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Sweet Thing watches nervously from ringside as the advantage continuously changes hands. Vanity plays a skilled game of cat and mouse to prevent Blast from putting together an effective chain of maneuvers. A slick reversal and clever use of his surroundings enables Vanity to escape with the win. (Fatigue: Blast 1)
Mad Jester (w/ Royal Overlord) vs. Reptillo Mad Jester defeated Reptillo with a Joker Flip at 8:56 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Both competitors reveal their vicious streaks in this hostile exchange. Reptillo bites and claws at his opponent, but Jester is more than willing to retaliate with eye gouges and strikes with a foreign object. With Overlord providing steady instructions, Jester switches to a more traditional style to put Reptillo away. (Fatigue: Reptillo 2)
Lightening (w/ Solaris) vs. The Creeper (w/ Vanity and Sweet Thing) The Creeper defeated Lightening with a disqualification at 2:05 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: Without making a single offensive move, Creeper is handed a technical decision when Lightening accidentally bumps the ref. With a broad smile, Vanity leads Creeper to the back. Lightening is furious and argues with the ref, but Solaris calms him down. (Fatigue: n/a)
Brute vs. Man-Mountain (w/ Solaris) Brute defeated Man-Mountain with a full powerslam at 10:07 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Brute becomes frustrated in this unbelievably slow paced matchup as he tries to figure out how to handle the girth of his opponent. Man-Mountain lands some heavy blows, but cannot keep the Aethran down. In a single display of raw power, Brute lifts Man-Mountain off his feet and slams him to the mat for a three count. (Fatigue: Brute 2)
Mutant vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Mutant with a SPINECRACKER at 1:22 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: This contest turns into a wild brawl almost immediately. Renegade tosses Mutant to the floor and nails him with a vicious running kick from the apron. Before the ref even has time to issue a warning, Renegade brings the match to an end. (Fatigue: Mutant 2)
Earthquake vs. Killer Queen (w/ Royal Overlord) Killer Queen defeated Earthquake with a CHECKMATE at 3:47 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Using his size, Earthquake dominates the majority of this contest. A devious move by Queen makes the difference when he ducks behind the ref and uses him as a human shield. Earthquake puts on the brakes to avoid colliding with the ref, but Queen is able to make it count. He trips his opponent and forces the big man to tap out. (Fatigue: Queen 1 - Earthquake 1)
Invincible Krakan vs. Mesmer Invincible Krakan defeated Mesmer with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 2:51 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The last time these two faced off it was to determine the first GWF Interplanetary Champion. The result is different this time around as Krakan makes short work of his opponent. After missing a running corner tackle, Mesmer tumbles over the top rope. Krakan rams him into a corner post and does not look back. (Fatigue: Krakan 1 - Mesmer 1)
Death Knight vs. Galactic Punisher Galactic Punisher defeated Death Knight with a LIFE SENTENCE at 8:16 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: A chairshot outside the ring almost leads to an upset victory for Knight. He nails Punisher with the COSMIC LANCE twice, but cannot gain the pinfall. Punisher makes a miraculous comeback and puts Knight away. (Fatigue: Punisher 3)
Comrade Terror vs. Wolf Wolf defeated Comrade Terror with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 3:34 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: In a display of absolute aggression, Wolf attacks Terror like a man possessed. Terror does his best to fight back, but cannot find a way to prevent the onslaught. Wolf does not relent for an instant and Terror is left with no choice, but to tap out. (Fatigue: n/a)
Battering Ram vs. Thantos Thantos defeated Battering Ram with a MASTERLOCK at 0:37 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: This is an interesting rematch from last year's Event Horizon finals. where Ram scored an impressive victory over the Gamemaster. Perhaps sending a message to all the competitors in the back, Thantos gets the drop on Ram and forces him to tap out in record time. (Fatigue: n/a)

Vanity makes it look easy at times as he beats Blast. Jester with the win but Reptillo was no push over. THE CREEPER!!!! shocking as the referee is overly sensitive on an accidental bump Brute manages to bring down the Mountain. Renegade with the win. really expected a DQ here with both styles Killer Queen put away the big man Kraken finds the right combination as he puts away the Master of the Occult. this has got to put Kraken in contention for the IP title Galactic Punisher brought the law to Death Knight and got the win. Wolf ran hot from two loses to Spike took it out on Comrade Terror who couldn't stop the wild Animan. hopefully he can use this win next time he faces Spike otherwise he is just showing up and letting the young Gladiator have it. and Thantos crushes Battering Ram the next set is going to be something else. to the losers wil it fire them up more? Awesome Pariah.

Congrats on passing 100 pages my friend and in only two and a half game years. I must say that Thantos made a huge statement in winning Event Horizon in just past thirty seconds and beating the man, Battering Ram, that beat him last year. Thantos is having a banner year thus far. Who will be next to step up and challenge Thantos? I'm actually hoping to see Spike vs. Thantos for the title. Good stuff my friend.

It's been great fun running this fed and I'm looking forward to the next 100 pages... barflymike4ever , cruefan68 and Crossbones - The continued support has been invaluable... The enthusiasm shown by you and so many other promoters adds so much to the overall experience... We've got some really big names going into the EH quarterfinals (which will be held at GWF 63)... Including Thantos, Wolf and all three Gladiators... In the meantime, Thantos will probably have another title defense against Star Warrior and Mesmer is going to have to rebound from a tough loss if he wants to remain IP champion... Brute and Massacre have not been all that impressive during this (their fourth) reign as tag champs... Even thought the AniMen scored a technical win over the Aethrans in their last encounter, I'm thinking TitanPower deserve another shot for pushing them to a time limit draw... Truly appreciate the awesome feedback, my friends... Many thanks!

Vanity beats Blast, but it took a bit to gain that victory. A viscous match with Mad Jester taking the win. Who knew a match could get so viscous. Wow! A fluke win by Creeper for sure. I can't believe he is moving on! It took a bit, but Brute beats Man-Mountain. Brute was determined to beat him and found a way! Renegade crushes Mutant in short order, no surprise there. I did not expect Killer Queen to win, but the bizarre one moves on! Impressive! Krakan just dominates Mesmer. That should build his case for an IP title shot. Death Knight and his underhanded tactics almost put away Galactic Punisher. His resilience held out to turn the tide for a win. Nice! Man!! Wolf on a mission, and Comrade Terror is the victim!! The Savage One looks on his game!! The Gamemaster shows his dominance by beating Battering Ram in the quickest amount of time in the entire show!! Thantos still looks unstoppable!! Great job buddy!!

Enjoyed reading your recap, reviler13... Some cool points made - Especially re. Krakan's victory building a case for a future shot at the IP belt and the fact that Wolf looked like a juggernaut against Terror... Can he carry that momentum into his ongoing cage series against Spike? He really needs a win there... Always appreciate you taking the time to read and share your thoughts, my friend... Many thanks!
