GWF Forecast
- A stellar victory over Invincible Krakan at GWF Eight has launched Lord Nexus into the number one contender spot for the GWF Universal Championship. He will face Thantos for the title at GWF Ten. After hearing the news, the popular Titan immediately spoke to his fans. Lord Nexus: "This is truly an incredible opportunity, but not what I want to talk about at the moment. Something happened on that last show... What Krakan and his Society of Death have done... And what they continue to do... It triggered something in me that I'm not proud of and I'm going to hold myself accountable. Attacking Krakan before the match had begun was not noble. I make no excuses and all I can say is that I'll never stoop to his level again."
-When he discovered that Lord Nexus is the number one contender, Krakan remained calm. His wrath was evident in his tone and his words. Krakan: As long as Krakan is alive, no Titan will EVER become the GWF Universal Champion."
- To make things interesting, a special tag team main event has been signed for GWF 11 from Orion. Lord Nexus and Omega will team up to face Invincible Krakan and the current GWF Universal Champion, Thantos. Keep in mind that Nexus meets Thantos for the title on the previous show, so he could walk into this match wearing the belt. And Omega will get his title match on the following show, regardless of who is champion - Nexus or Thantos.
- Even though they managed to pick up a win together in tag team competition, friction remains between Duke of Destruction and Exo-King. The latest incident occurred moments before their match against Commander Sam and Omega. The Duke was informed that he would not be taking part in the upcoming tournament, EVENT HORIZON. This pleased Exo-King greatly and many speculate it is why the Duke left the ring so quickly following the match.
- The opening round of EVENT HORIZON is set to take place at GWF Nine from Victory Gardens on Earth. The second half will take place at GWF Thirteen from Pegasus. Those ten winners will meet in the semifinal round which will take place at GWF Seventeen. Although the venue has not been confirmed, there are rumors that show will be held inside the War Dome on Aethra!
