Always a pleasure to read the predictions and commentary, Crossbones, barflymike4ever and reviler13... The Gladiators are looking to build on their fourth reign as tag champs... But, they're coming off a tough time limit draw to TitanPower which was preceded by a loss to the AniMen in an Aethran Ultimate Escape match... Can Ram and Badger pull it together to become two-time champions? The Gamemaster continues to look somewhat unbreakable and I'm not really sure who will be his next challenger... I'm having a look at the first round Event Horizon bouts that just took place to get a few ideas... Truly appreciate the excellent feedback, my friends... Just finishing the writeup for the latest show and hope to have it posted soon... Many thanks for staying tuned!

GWF 57 2089.07 from Leo
Beast-Rider and Pulsar (w/ Trainer Jim) vs. Mutant and The Creeper (w/ Vanity and Sweet Thing) Pulsar defeated Mutant with a disqualification at 7:45 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Despite some solid back and forth action, neither team truly comes close to scoring a clean fall over the other. Rider and Pulsar receive plenty of support from Trainer Jim and the crowd, while Vanity continuously criticizes The Creeper. A wild brawl erupts outside the ring and the ref calls for the bell when Mutant uses The Creeper's lead chain to strangle Pulsar. (Fatigue: n/a)
- Titan Death Match - Ghengis Khan vs. Lord Nexus Lord Nexus defeated Ghengis Khan with a TITAN DROP at 0:59 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: A botched sneak attack by Khan allows Nexus to make short work of his devious opponent, slamming him to the canvas into a (snake eyes) pinning combination. (Fatigue: n/a)
Disgusted by Khan's failure, Krakan charges from the back. He is intercepted by Billy Jo Boxer and pandemonium erupts! Boxer punches his way through security to get his hands on Khan, who is injured as a result (out for 4 cards). The board suspends Boxer for 2 cards, starting at the conclusion of this show.
Alien Corps vs. Bomb Squad Comrade Terror defeated Commander Sam with a Terror Face Claw at 3:34 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Alien Corps effectively cut the ring in half, preventing Sam from making a single tag. Terror hits Sam with the ATOMIC WARHEAD and Blast rushes in to make the save. The ref nearly disqualifies both teams as he tries to regain control of the bout. A swift double team by Alien Corps leads to an abrupt finish. (Fatigue: Sam 3)
- Titan Death Match - Billy Jo Boxer vs. Invincible Krakan Billy Jo Boxer defeated Invincible Krakan with a TKO at 2:21 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Krakan starts strong, but his plans go awry when he takes the fight to the floor and tries to level Boxer with a metal chair. Boxer lets loose with a jab that drives the chair into Krakan's face. He tosses Krakan back into the ring and drops him for a (snake eyes) three count. (Fatigue: Krakan 1)
With Darkos directing traffic, Pit Viper and Splatter attack Boxer. This brings the Lord Nexus and the Greek Gods racing from the back to save the lone Titan. After security clears the area, Krakan issues a challenge to Nexus and the Greeks to face him and the Blood Brothers in six-man tag action. Solaris and Trainer Jim accept on behalf of the trio.
- Best of 3 Falls - Bishop Hell (w/ Royal Overlord) vs. Galactic Punisher Galactic Punisher defeated Bishop Hell with a disqualification at 3:27 Bishop Hell defeated Galactic Punisher with a HELLFIRE at 4:04 Bishop Hell defeated Galactic Punisher with a FLYING CROSS at 10:47 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The competitors swiftly split the first two falls. After hitting the VERDICT and LIFE SENTENCE, Punisher attempts a cover. Overlord blatantly interferes and Punisher is handed an early lead. While the ref is busy reprimanding the manager, Bishop cripples Punisher with his fiery finisher to easily tie the score. Punisher bounces back, but Bishop halts his momentum with a cheap shot outside the ring. When Omega arrives to object to what is taking place, Overlord smashes him across the back with his scepter! Punisher rushes to help Omega and Bishop capitalizes on the situation. (Fatigue: Bishop 3 - Punisher 5)
- Championship Match - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Animal Pack for the GWF Tag Team Championship Incredible Badger defeated Brute with a disqualification at 9:09 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Both teams survive multiple near falls in this intense affair. The fight repeatedly spills out to the floor, despite several warning from the ref to keep the action inside the ring. With blood running down his face, Badger kicks out after getting hit by a DECAPITATOR and a MASSACRE SLAM. Animal Pack is finally awarded the technical decision when Brute gets tired of the ref's involvement, tossing him over guardrail and into the crowd. (Fatigue: Ram 3, Badger 5 - Brute 2)
Gladiators of Aethra retained the GWF Tag Team Championship

the young guns of Pulsar and Beast Rider get a DQ over the wild team of Mutant and Creeper. Lord Nexus crushed Khan and add insult to injury Khan's injured in the aftermatch, ouch. Alien Corps with the win, Terror is in a mood and its not good to be human in his view Boxer with the win over Kraken which prompts the ring General to issue a challenge that probably is a trap. Hell got DQ'd but rallied and took the last two falls. he's looking ahead to a possible title shot (guess what, GLASS CEILING!) so close and yet so far. Animal Pack gets the win but the Gladiators leave still champions. good show Pariah.

Oh look another pairing of Mutant and Creeper!! Not surprised that Pulsar and Beast-Rider got the DQ win. Mutant just doesn't play by the rules, only his rules! Rough one for Ghengis Khan! Lord Nexus was just too much for the Mongolian Warrior. Looks like the rivalry between the Titans and the Society of Death is still strong. But bo on Billy Jo Boxer getting suspended! Comrade Terror gets the best of Commander Sam in the tag team match. That rivalry never gets old!! Billy Jo Boxer beats Krakan!?!?! Did not see that coming! Now the leader of the Society of Death can't even get his revenge, as Billy Jo Boxer is suspended!! Krakan must be irate!! What a match between Galactic Punisher and Bishop Hell. The Evil doer got the best of Punisher this time, no thanks to Royal Overlord tangling with Omega!! A technical decision for Animal Pack but the Gladiators keep the titles. This feud is long from being over!! Great job buddy, it was an entertaining show!!

I always love seeing The Gladiators retain the GWF tag titles even through nefarious means as they did at GWF 57. I imagine that Animal Pack will be looking for a rematch. I really enjoyed that two-out-of-three falls match with Bisop Hell beating Galactic Punisher. The Bishop is slowly becoming my overall favorite among the originals. The craziest moment of the night for me was seeing Billy Jo Boxer injure Ghengis Khan and then return to beat Kraken. I did not see that coming and now BJB gets suspended and Khan is out injured. These are some crazy times in 2089, I love it! Also congrats on approaching 100 pages!!!

Pleased that you're continuing to enjoy the escapades, barflymike4ever, reviler13 and cruefan68... Unfortunately, the unexpected COTG Online site maintenance has thrown me for a bit of a loop... If there had been some advance warning, I could have taken some notes and worked on show writeups... On the plus side, I was already in the process of formatting my next GWF show... So, I will have something to post in the near future... Truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, my friends... Site problems aside, I'll have the card for the next show up in a little bit... Many thanks for staying tuned!

yeah, Faller beat Aethran Overmaster twice in my original fed he's getting an IP title shot because of it and not an hour later the site goes down this is a reason I like the actual cards. charter gets weird here and I lose connections enough. show 58... Mesmer retains over Executioner. thus far the Assassins have had rather poor showings in the ring. Battering Ram will upset Bounty Hunter ah the six man highway to hell...I think Nexus and the Greek Gods will beat Kraken and the Blood Brothers.....by DQ Spike took the first of the series, I think Wolf will win this one Thantos is a marked man, but I don't think Sam is the one he needs to worry about. when you can dance those dice

Solid picks, barflymike4ever... Seems like the site being down might also be having some impact on forum traffic... Like you said, chances are that Sam won't be the one to dethrone the Gamemaster... But, you never know - Upsets happen... Just ask Faller. Truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, my friend... Show is going up in about an hour... And that will be my last update until the site chimes back online... Many thanks for staying tuned!
