Laredo Kid is making his Evolve debut Royal Rumble weekend! He's from the area but I hope he becomes a regular in Evolve, because Laredo is in my top 5 most wanted cards I'd like to see released. Although any time you book him for an AIW event, you can't find his card until right before his match. (The Card is Going to Change Podcast joke)

I'd like to see cards for Ethan Page, Jeff Cobb, and upgrades for Ricochet and Timothy Thatcher. If they keep pushing Matt Riddle like they have been, he'll need an upgrade before too long. On a side note, I love the way EVOLVE cards we already have are geared toward having longer matches. I don't know how the EVOLVE cards are doing for you but the matches I have are some of the shortest, most one-sided I have out of all of the FG sets. They are really powerful on offense and not as much so on defense and, for me at least, they get on unstoppable rolls. This leads to a lot of unpredictable results which can be a challenge to book. Then again, it matches some of the wonky, out of left field things that happen in EVOLVE at times. I have many of the same challenges described by aceldamas. It makes EVOLVE a challenge to book. Along the same lines, my dice think very little of Matt Riddle--he rarely get a win even against lower level competition.

Evolve 4, eight card set officially announced on Twitter with the first name coming tonight!
Time for guesses:
1) Jeff Cobb 2) Ethan Page 3) Chris Dickinson 4) Jaka 5) Darby Allin 6) ACH 7) Peter Kaasa 8) Ricochet
I am torn on the Ricochet choice, as that could also be an updated Thatcher, Matt Riddle, or Dustin (Chuck Taylor)
Keith Lee is also a possibility, but he just got a card with RoH.
I'd love to see a card for Dick Togo or Laredo Kid, but don't see that happening.
I think that the Gatekeepers, Jason Kincaid, Anthony Henry, and Austin Theory are probably too knew to the promotion.

Solid list but we're starting to get into repeat territory with some of the sets for these indy promotions. Page, Dickinson, and ACH already have cards that are suitable. Whereas Thatcher and Ricochet definitely need updates. Hoping we can fill out the 8 cards without too many updates though.

That's going to be an issue with wrestlers jumping from fed to fed without really changing much. I don't know if Lee will get one now, but it should happen soon since it looks like Evolve has plans for him.

Jeff Cobb.
That's all I need in this set.

I can see where multiple cards for the same guy could become an issue, but I suppose it is going to depend on how much say the promotion has in the line up.
Sure Ethan Page already has 2 cards, but he doesn't have an Evolve card and he is one of the top heels in the promotion, so I could see why Evolve would want him to have a card. Furthermore, I don't think either of those two cards are at a power level to represent Ethan's position in Evolve, so I can see why Filsinger would include him in the set.
Of the folks I mentioned, I think we can ALL agree that Ricochet is in desperate need of an update.
In the world of Evolve, Timothy Thatcher's current card is probably underpowered and outdated to represent him.
I would put Matt Riddle's card in the same boat as Thatcher's.
I assume the Dickinson and Jaka updates are pretty much a lock since it was revealed that Dickinson was originally planned for the Beyond set, and then held off for "something else." Not to mention that Jaka's Chikara card is probably outdated for Evolve.
ACH probably doesn't need an update, but I could see him getting one, since his current card is several years old, he is a relatively big name on the indies, and he is getting a big push in Evolve.
Dustin is probably least likely, since the Chuck Taylor Evolve card works just fine, but I wasn't ruling it out as a possibility.
The fact is, so long as we get Jeff Cobb, the other 7 cards can be Larry Dallas, and I'll still buy the set!!

The promotion basically has the complete say as Gabe chose the names for this set based on the names who have signed release forms with Filsinger Games. There are some updates in this set, but also some great wrestlers getting their first card ever.
