Great to see Omega and Morpheus putting on such a great show for the fans... Especially considering the plague of technical decisions during the mid-card... Dorado Sundown have the tag belts and I'm eager to see how this victory impacts their working relationship with Mr Hood... Awesome stuff! Yeah, there was a run of disqualifications there. That's what happens when Jack Hood gets involved!

Now I see why Morpheus had to turn heel. Even when he steals the show Omega’s light still shines brighter. Dorado getting the belts back is a good thing. Theyre too entertaining to drop down the card.

GWF Ringside Report
The Omega vs. Morpheus match at Galaxi-Cade is already being hailed as a classic by observers, and a rematch is already in the works. Expect the rematch to be held at GWF 28, the final GWF event of 2076. In the meantime, Omega and Morpheus will once again team with Screw to take on the trio of Jack Hood and Dorado Sundown in a 6 Man Tag Team Match at GWF 26.
The last time Hood teamed with Blacklash and Bullwhip in the ring was at GWF 24, where a miscommunication in the ring between Hood and his partners resulted in the trio losing the match and reports of a near-brawl in the locker room between them. Publically, the three men have dismissed rumors of a rift between them. However, Dorado Sundown’s failure to get involved in Hood’s affairs at Galaxi-Cade, along with Hood’s failure to celebrate Dorado Sundown’s winning the GWF Tag Team Titles at Galaxi-Cade, has certainly done nothing to quell those rumors.
Screw, meanwhile, was asked in a recent interview about Hood’s involvement in his match against Mimic at Galaxi-Cade. Screw’s reply: “This is going to stop. The GWF simply isn’t big enough for both me and him.”
After their Galaxi-Cade match ended in a disqualification, Torin Caelum has challenged Santon to a rematch. The two will square off once again at GWF 26.
The matches scheduled for GWF 26 are:
Omega, Morpheus, and Screw vs. Jack Hood and Dorado Sundown – 6 Man Tag Team Match Torin Caelum vs. Santon Paladin Power vs. Defiance Commander Sam vs. Mimic CrossCurrents vs. The Wind Riders Cosmos vs. Torpor

GWF 26 (2076.10) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Cosmos vs. Torpor Cosmos defeated Torpor with a reverse piledriver at 24:19 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: A lengthy match featuring a lot of delay tactics by Torpor ended when Cosmos reversed a hammerlock and angrily threw Torpor out of the ring. After driving Torpor’s head into the ring table (narrowly averting a disqualification), Cosmos rolled the Cygnusian back in the ring to finish him off and garner the win.
CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) vs. The Wind Riders (Rama and Tano) Thetis defeated Rama with WATERY GRAVE at 6:56 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: CrossCurrents gained the advantage after Rama missed a splash attempt on Thetis from the ring apron to the floor. Thetis would make quick work of his opponent afterwards.
Commander Sam vs. Mimic Commander Sam defeated Mimic with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP at 6:56 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Sam won a battle on the arena floor and, upon returning to the ring, hit his finisher on Mimic for the win. While celebrating with fans ringside after the match, Sam was attacked from behind by Torpor, who drove him into the ring post before security intervened.
Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) vs. Defiance (Blood and Jammer) Moonstrike defeated Jammer with a missile dropkick at 13:43 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Moonstrike was able to isolate Jammer in the ring for the final few minutes of the match. Blood would attempt to save his partner, only to be intercepted by Solar Flare, and the two would brawl on the ring floor while Moonstrike finally put away Jammer in the ring.
Torin Caelum vs. Santon Santon defeated Torin Caelum with SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 3:12 Match Rating: 1.75 Match Notes: Santon stunned Caelum with an offensive assault, and Caelum was forced to play defense. After taking a bump outside the ring, Caelum fell immediately afterwards to Santon’s finisher.
The Guardians (GWF Galaxian champion Omega and Morpheus) and Screw vs. GWF Tag Team champions Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) and Jack Hood Omega defeated Jack Hood with TOMAHAWK THRUST at 2:15 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The exciting events occurred prior to the actual match starting. Hood and Dorado Sundown were announced first. As Screw was heading towards the ring, Hood jumped outside, grabbed a steel chair, and hit Screw with it. Omega and Morpheus would run out and protect Screw from further assault. As this was happening outside the ring, Blacklash and Bullwhip stayed in the ring. They looked at each other, glanced down at the tag title belts around their waists, looked at each other again, nodded, and left the ring for the locker room, to the bewilderment of the fans, their opponents, and Hood. The match ended up being a handicap match (Omega and Morpheus vs. Hood), during which Morpheus would throw Hood back into the ring every time he tried to escape for a breather. The final time this occurred, Omega hit his finisher on Hood for the victory.

Too bad the main event was so fast. Nice win by Paladin Power.

Great win for Santon... And what the main event failed to deliver in performance, it certainly made up for with its excellent storytelling... As I somewhat expected, Dorado Sundown realized their relationship with Jack Hood has run its course and now that they have the tag belts, they have nothing more to gain by remaining in that alliance...
Thoroughly enjoyed the show and it did a brilliant job of closing out the year... Bring on 2077!

I've got the final card of the year (GWF 28) pretty much booked, just need to book GWF 27 to finish the build up towards it.

GWF Ringside Report
The biggest news after GWF 26 is Dorado Sundown’s abandonment of Jack Hood before their match against Omega, Morpheus, and Screw. The GWF Tag Team champions issued a statement shortly afterwards: “We hold no ill will towards Jack, but it’s become obvious that his goals and ours are no longer compatible. We want to win titles and embarrass Omega and Morpheus, and Jack’s growing obsession with destroying Screw is an unnecessary distraction from our goals, one that we will no longer tolerate. Now that we’re the tag champs once again, we intend on holding these titles for a long time and are focused on destroying our competition. And Omega and Morpheus better watch their backs, as we haven’t forgotten them.”
When reached for comment regarding his former allies, Hood said, “Bah! I don’t need their help, they were only holding me back. They can shove their precious tag titles where the sun don’t shine! Violence and havoc are all that matter to me!” Hood was scheduled to meet Screw at GWF 27, but Screw will miss that match due to injuries suffered at GWF 26 as a result of Hood’s attack. Instead, K.O. Keller will take Screw’s place in that match, and Screw will be in Keller’s corner. Screw reiterated his previous comments, “The GWF isn’t big enough for both me and Hood.”
The GWF Tag Team champs, meanwhile, are scheduled to defend the titles against the former champs Paladin Power at the year-end show at GWF 28. In the meantime, the two teams will face off against each other in singles matches at GWF 27.
The anticipated rematch between GWF Galaxian champ Omega and Morpheus has been signed for GWF 28. Also, at GWF 28, a top contenders’ match will occur, with the winner being the next challenger to the GWF Galaxian Title.
Commander Sam is becoming frustrated with Torpor’s constant interference in his matches. Sam has clearly moved past Torpor in the ring, but has signed to face Torpor at GWF 28, realizing that he needs to finish off his Cygnusian rival once and for all.
The matches scheduled for GWF 27 are:
K.O. Keller (w/ Screw) vs. Jack Hood Blacklash vs. Solar Flare Bullwhip vs. Moonstrike Torin Caelum vs. Commander Sam The Mensans vs. CrossCurrents Ricken Prince vs. Cosmos
