I don't know who the busted teddy bear is, but I'm backing him 100%. The busted teddy bear is Hector the Holy Brown Bear. He came into the GWF 2120 as the GateKeeper, then every year he would change his gimmick to Dead Ringer, Daimyo, and The Main Event... before finally staying Hector. He brought in others to take on the gimmicks of Star Warrior, Thantos, Bishop Hell and Splatter. Hector was a fun character to write dialog for in my fed. |

Commissioner Sly Drury: Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to episode one of the Kronos Showdown! Tonight, we start the first show of Round one... where we will see 10 wrestlers compete in one on one matches to a single fall. The five winners will advance to Round Two and the losers we will face judgement before the GWF Universe of 2132... They will pick one from the five losers to go on to Round Two. Many, among the GWF Universe are asking why did I allow Shayne to compete in the midcard to upper midcard tournament when he is clearly a main event player... Well, one he is the winner from The Reality Showdown from a couple years so he felt that he needed to defend his win... two, he is the current GWF Universal Champion of 2132! That said... Don't expect me to go easy on Shayne just because he is a member of Martial Law! He will face the stiff competition in this tournament! Mr. IronHand who is the odds on favorite to win the tournament? I bet its Paragon... no, it's Harbringer Black Death... maybe, it's Sur or Bex... or a dark horse like Dreadnaught? Mr. Ironhand: Well, sir... By, my calculations Shayne is the odds on favorite with a margin to win by 10.959%... but, the GWF Universe thanks to our poll has Wolf as the one to take it all! Commissioner Sly Drury: GWF Universe will always be die hard Wolf fans won't they... But, shall we get on with the first match? Kill Prey vs. EncubusEncubus defeated Kill Prey with a MAFFEI MASTERLOCK (0) at 8:26 Match Notes: Encubus advances to the next round after Kill Prey submitting to him in the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK. Encubus worked over Kill Prey's legs with his patented finisher. Kill Prey was locked in the hold for over three minutes before having no choice but to tap. Winner: Encubus advances to Round Two!Dreadnaught vs. BexBex defeated Dreadnaught with a MORTAL MUTILATION (0) at 8:45 Match Notes: Dreadnaught started off the match by ambushing Bex and hitting him with the GUIDED MISSILE... but it just wasn't enough to get the jump done. Bex makes a comeback and starts to work on Dreadnaught with submission holds, before he has no choice but to give up to Bex's MORTAL MUTILATION. Winner: Bex advances to the next round!Heracles vs. SpikeSpike defeated Heracles with a MEGADESTROYER (+3) at 17:56 Match Notes: This was a match for the ages.. These two huge men going one on one. After nine minutes of battle, Heracles hits Spike with one of the video cameras behind the refs back and then pins him for a three count... but then Ironhand comes down to the ring and announces due to cheating the pin doesn't count and the match will restart as there must be a winner. With a busted up Spike, Heracles goes after that open wound. But, no matter what Heracles does Spike just won't stay down. Spike makes a comeback and the two continue to battle it for the next 15 minutes. Spike pulls ahead and hits Heracles with MEGADESTROYER for the win. Winner: Spike advances to the next round!Nosfera vs. Star SlayerStar Slayer defeated Nosfera with a MAD MAT (+1) at 7:31 Match Notes: Star Slayer took an early advantage over Nosfera. Nosfera has a hard time coming up with any offense and falls prey to MAD MAT. Things just didn't go Nosfera's way in this match. Winner: Star Slayer advances to the next round!Blazing Skull vs. ParalyzeParalyze defeated Blazing Skull with THE PARALYZER (+3) at 3:18 Match Notes: This match was mark-keyed as the main event of the show, but in reality it was the shortest match as Paralyze makes short work of Blazing Skull with his devastating finisher THE PARALYZER. Paralyze hit Blazing Skull a second time with the finisher and caused serious damage to his opponent. Doctors say that Blazing Skull will be out of action with a broken neck for 8 months at least. Winner: Paralyze advances to the next round!Commissioner Sly Drury: It's time to bring the losers out for their judgement by the GWF Universe! Due to Blazing Skull's injury only four of the losers will be up for judgement. Bring them out now... Remember, to vote now GWF Universe on which one you think should be advancing to the next round! Kill Prey Votes: 18.18% Dreadnaught Votes: 36.36% Heracles Votes: 18.18% Nosfera Votes: 27.27% Commissioner Sly Drury: The GWF Universe has spoken... Dreadnaught, you will advance to Round Two of the Kronos Showdown... with Encubus, Bex, Spike, Star Slayer and Paralyze!

Would have preferred to see Kill Prey or Nosfera make it through on the vote... A strong opening show with some great talent moving into the next round - Especially hoping that Encubus goes far...
Was a little surprised that Iron Hand got involved in the manner in which he did - Restarting a match because of rulebreaking? Seems a little out of character...

As far as the Iron Hand inference... your just going to have to wait as this plays out. But, trust there is a reason behind it... You can thank the GWF promoters here on the boards for Dreadnaught winning the voting... which is funny cause I would think normal fans wouldn't have voted for him. But, I wanted board interaction more than me doing a fan reaction like last time. Thanks, my friend! |

Awesome start! I too, hope Nosfera finds his way back one day. Always good to see Star Slayer win though.
Paralyze injures Blazing Skull! Man, I loved Paralyze. What a great character.
Congrats to fan fav Dreadnaught getting the fans vote.
And congrats to another successful Kronos fed!

After Episode One Show Iron Hand is standing outside of Commissioner Drur's Office, when Aethran Overmaster comes storming up to Iron Hand Aethran Overmaster: Get out of my way, Iron Hand... I want to see Drury NOW! Iron Hand: Mr. Drury is currently in a meeting and can't be disturbed right now. But, if you would like to address your grieves with me... I can either see if I can help you or I can bring them up to Mr. Drury? Aethran Overmaster: I AM THE RULER OF AETHRA... I don't speak to underlings, like you! Iron Hand: Overmaster, I apologize but... Aethran Overmaster: MOVE OUT OF MY WAY OR I WILL MOVE YOU, MYSELF! Iron Head speaks into his comm-link, "We had a code yellow!" 10 large security guards show up. Iron Hand: Overmaster, you have three options so choose wisely... One, you can tell me and I can see if I can help... Two, you can make an appointment and see Mr. Drury doing business hours tomorrow... Or three, these gentle can walk you out... Aethran Overmaster: NO ONE TALKS TO ME LIKE THAT... IM THE AETHRAN OVERMASTER! THIS AINT OVER TIN MAN... With that Aethran Overmaster storms off even more furriest and angry, but not before punching a giant hole in the wall with his fist. Five minutes later Commissioner Drury comes out of his office looks at the hole in the wallCommissioner Drury: What in the world, Mr. Iron Hand was all the ruckus out here about? Iron Hand: The Overmaster wanted to pay you a little visit... Commissioner Drury: Oh... I take it he wasn't all to happy about Spike being in this Kronos Event or your interference either? Iron Hand: Probably not, Sir. Though, we didn't get that far as how did he put it... "I AM THE RULER OF AETHRA... I don't speak to underlings, like you!" Sir, are you sure you want to proceed with this course of action? Commissioner Drury: Your not getting cold feet on me, now are you? No... all the pieces are in place and we are going to see it through... just make sure that it gets executed to no errors. Iron Hand: Yes, Sir. Commissioner Drury: Oh and Iron Hand?... Make sure to send the bill for the wall to the Aethran Overmaster... SLy Drury walks back into his office and closes the door. |
