Sly Drury: Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the second show of the second season of GWF Legends Show! Tonight, we continue with the next three groupings of round one. We will see round one matches from Groups D, E and F. One team from each group will be sitting it out this week and will be back next week. So let's get tonight's matches underway! Group D Immortals vs. The EnforcersBex defeated Wildcat with a GROUND ZERO (0) at 7:08 Match Notes: Enforcers didn't have much of an answer for the technical skills of The Immortals. Bex and Sur were able to cut the ring in half on Wildcat and keep him close to their corner. Bex was able to make Wildcat submit with GROUND ZERO. Winners: ImmortalsRebel Empire vs. Divided We FallNefarus defeated Bloodline with a SCISSORDRIVER (+2) at 15:29 Match Notes: The Rebel Empire were up to their own dirty tricks and cheated their way to a win over Divided We Fall. Nefarus gave Bloodline a low blow when the ref was distracted with Vendetta, then Nefarus has the perfect shot for SCISSORDRIVER and the win. Winners: Rebel EmpireGroup E Titan Power vs. PredatorsLord Nexus defeated Wolf with a TITAN DROP (0) at 18:30 Match Notes: With what many are calling a surprise victory Titan Power takes out The Predators in a round one match up. Wolf put up a pretty good fight, but Lord Nexus hit Wolf with five TITAN DROPS before he was able to get the pin on his opponent. Winners: Titan PowerStormTroopers vs. Greek GodsProteus defeated Powerhouse with an OVERHEAD TOSS (+1) at 22:34 Match Notes: Stormtroopers made an oppressive showing in the match, but just couldn't close out the match to the Greek Gods. Powerhouse and Hammer even hit Actagon with STORMTROOPER BLITZ but Proteus was there with the save. Proteus was able to make a comeback and hit Powerhouse with his finisher for the win. Winners: Greek GodsGroup F Twin Blood vs. Gladiators (Fist & Probation)Fist defeated Dreggs with an Air Raid at 8:25 Match Notes: The Gladiators came out and rocked Twin Blood to their core being. Fist opened a can of whoop ass on both members of Twin Blood. Dreggs and Sleeze just couldn't beat the quickness of Fist nor the power of Probation. Winners: Gladiators (Fist & Probation)Demons of Hydra vs. Ultimate FightersShoot defeated Demon with a Guillotine Choke at 15:30 Match Notes: The Ultimate Fighters and Demons of Hydra put up one hell of a match against each other. Demon and Hydra tried to do their switch but it failed when Shoot hit Hydra with his finisher for the win. Winners: Ultimate Fighters |

It's never safe to bet against Aethrans, but I'm quite surprised that Fist & Probation put down Twin Blood... Disappointed that DWF lost their opening bout... Rebel Empire has to be considered a dark horse to win this thing... Brilliant concept, my friend... And fun show!

Rebel Empire has to be considered a dark horse to win this thing... Brilliant concept, my friend... And fun show! I would have to say the biggest upset of the night is Titan Power pulling a win out on Predators. Lord Nexus was the star for his team... but that was a big win for them none the less. We will see the other two Aethrans teams in the second round... Some really good matches are coming up in the second round so stay tuned. What I find is funny is when I read your feds, like 2089... it makes me want to start one up. When you read this concept it makes you want to try a Kronos fed up. Funny how that is lol |

Want to see the Mercenaries and Vampire Legends improve to 2-0... But, both teams are facing tougher opposition than in round one...
Malice and Overkill are gonna crush The Cloak... Could be a squash...

Cosmic Force is in a group with stiff competition and I'm not sure if they will be able to survive teams like Game Masters 2096, Rush & Turmoil, Mercenaries and Master Race. The reason I put teams like Cosmic Force in the tournament as you never know who the dice will favor and you can always see an upset. Plus, Cosmic Force was a great team despite not getting many championship belts. Thanks throwingtoasters for your support! |
