The V in the logo stands for Vegas! I got my shirt last night after flying back from Seattle for Thanksgiving.

Vegas GOLDEN Knights.
Apparently the London Knights of the OHL had issues with them just using the "Knights" name.
Also, I must admit -- I love the logo, and I love the new name.

Yeah, the official name due to copyright reasons is the Vegas Golden Knights, but they are expected to be commonly referred to as the Vegas Knights (lust like the Golden Knights of Central Florida University are commonly known as the Knights.) I also really like the new logo alot, I think I might make it the profile picture on my Facebook account.

Have they released the jersey's yet? no, they said the jerseys won't be available until the Spring as Adidas is currently in the process of replacing Reebok as the official supplier of NHL uniforms and Adidas is not ready yet to manufacture uniforms.

As a die hard NHL fan I wasn't aware they were moving away from Reebok lol. If I had to guess now I'm willing to bet the Jersey will make its official debut at the Entry Draft. I'm looking forward to seeing them as they have a really wicked colour scheme with their logo.

I was telling my wife yesterday they should offer Ben Bishop some ridiculous contract to try and make a splash their first year.

I think Vegas will have a pretty decent goaltending staff. I'm willing to bet they'll end up with Marc-Andre Fleury of Pittsburgh and Jonathan Bernier of the Ducks.
Pittsburgh will probably leave Fleury unprotected in favor of making Matt Murray their new number one. John Gibson is the man in Anaheim and I honestly think they brought in Bernier as a stop gap back up after they traded Frederik Anderson to the Leafs a few days before they acquired Bernier from the Leafs (who more than likely would have left Bernier unprotected themselves)
The biggest issue I think Vegas will face in the first couple of years will be if they can find sustainable scoring and solid defense to put in front of that tandem.
