The final episode of RAW before Vegasmania!
Vegas Wrestling Entertainment (VWE) RAW #14 March 27, Year 1
- tonight's commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Trish Stratus defeated Gorgeous George and Pampero Firpo
- this tag match involved all 4 competitors of the Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match at Vegasmania with the winner getting a United States Championship #1 contender's match
- this match ended when Stratus put away George via STRATUSFACTION, as the referee raises Stratus's hand in victory, Striker comments that Stratus is looking to win the 4 way opening match at Vegasmania to get that future #1 contender's match for the United States Championship and thus break the glass ceiling for all women by holding a major championship formerly only held by male wrestlers.
DiBiase's office VWE Chairman of the Board the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase tells The Destroyer, The Taylors, Rock Riddle, "Cowboy" Scott Casey, Frank Dalton, Bruiser Costa, Ron Hutchinson, and Wild Bill White that they have all been added to the preshow battle royal this weekend at Vegasmania
Match #2: Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) defeated Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig by DQ
- as this match begins Striker and Zbyszko comment how, at this upcoming weekend at Vegasmania, Sheik and Volkoff challenge Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page for the VWE Tag Team Championship while RVD and Hennig have been placed in a match against each other by their fellow former enemy DiBiase..
- this match ended in a DQ when Volkoff tried to choke out Hennig with the Soviet flag but RVD got the flag away from Volkoff and instead choked Volkoff out with it in retaliation. But the RVD caught RVD and called for the bell and thus the DQ.
Backstage: Savage is mad at DDP for not coming to his aid last week on RAW when the Iron Sheik put him in the CAMEL CLUTCH during a post match attack and instead making the save for him was RVD and Curt Hennig- who despite having to wrestle each other at Vegasmania are clearly tag team partners who have each others' backs as RVD just showed in the match that just ended. DDP says he was hurt but will be ready to go this weekend when they defend the VWE Tag Team Championship at Vegasmania against Sheik and Volkoff. Savage walks off as it looks like the chemistry problems between the VWE Tag Team Champions is continuing.
Match #3: Road Warriors defeated Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody by DQ
- this match, less than a week before these two tag teams meet in a Las Vegas street fight at Vegasmania, did not last long as Brody quickly got DQd for hitting Road Warrior Animal with his steel chain
- afterward, both tag teams proceeded to brawl with each other toward the back building anticipation for this Las Vegas street fight match this weekend at Vegasmania.
Vegasmania 1. VWE Champion Lou Thesz vs Buddy Rogers vs VWE Chairman of the Board the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase 2. Special Attraction match: Dusty Rhodes vs Ric Flair 3. Special Attraction match: Sting vs Great Muta 4. Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka vs Road Warriors (Las Vegas Street Fight) 5. Bobo Brazil vs United States Champion Harley Race 6. VWE Tag Team Champions Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page vs Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff 7. Rob Van Dam vs Curt Hennig 8. Rock N' Roll Express vs Dream Team 9. former MLW wrestler making VWE debut against Roadd Dogg and Scott Taylor (handicap match) 10. Trish Stratus vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Gorgeous George vs Pampero Firpo (Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match) 11. Preshow battle royal: "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty, Sinn Bodhi, Lenny Lane, Blue Meanie, The Destroyer, The Taylors, Rock Riddle, "Cowboy" Scott Casey, Frank Dalton, Bruiser Costa, Ron Hutchinson, and Wild Bill White
Match #4: VWE Champion Lou Thesz defeated Buddy Rogers in a non-title match
- this match involved 2 of the 3 competitors (along with DiBiase) in this weekend's VWE Championship triple threat main event at Vegasmania.
- Thesz won this match via his GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP
- afterward, as Thesz got his hand raised in victory, someone suddenly rushed into the ring to take out both Rogers and Thesz from behind with two RUSSIAN SICKLES! DiBiase then entered the ring to introduce his new associate- Nikita Koloff! {Promoter's note: I am using the color Nikita Koloff card recently released with the other cards in the NWA Classics bootleg set written by the Olsons of LOW.}
- as DiBiase laughs out loud at both of his downed Vegasmania opponents Thesz and Rogers, tonight's show comes to an end.
End of Show. See you this weekend for Vegasmania!

Randy Savage & DDP need to get their act together or Volkoff & Sheik could take the gold, I absolutely loved the surprise debut of Nikita Koloff as a new associate of Ted Dibiase. I don't think too many guys will be lining up to face Nikita. We are so close to Vegasmania and I can't wait!

It is now time for the start of Vegasmania!
Vegas Wrestling Entertainment (VWE) Vegasmania T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV April 2, Year 1 (First Third of the show)
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Preshow: Blue Meanie won a 13 man battle royal
order of elimination
1. Sinn Bodhi (immediately by the Blue Meanie, Bodhi looked shocked but impressed at the Blue Meanie) 2. Lenny Layne (making his VWE debut) 3. Bruiser Costa 4. Rock Riddle 5. Cowboy Scott Casey 6. Wild Bill White 7. Frank Dalton 8. "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty 9. Ron Hutchinson 10. The Destroyer 11. Tugboat Taylor 12. Chaz Taylor Winner: Blue Meanie (VWE debut match)
note: in his VWE debut match, Blue Meanie scored the most eliminations which included eliminating both Taylors who were the last two wrestlers left in the ring with him at the end of the match
Match #1: Pampero Firpo defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Trish Stratus, and Gorgeous George in a Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match
- Firpo eliminated Duggan via EL GARFIO
- Firpo eliminated George via EL GARFIO
- Firpo eliminated Stratus via EL GARFIO
- afterward, Firpo was announced as the winner but the crowd loudly cheered in appreciation for Stratus who came up short but showed a remarkable effort in lasting until the very end of this opening match in the very first Vegasmania.
{Promoter's Note: Trish Stratus very nearly won this match as she hit STRATUSFACTION (+3) when Firpo's PIN was up to 5, but the dice roll was a 9.}
In the Ring: Redd Dogg and Scott Taylor. Their mystery opponent, billed as a former MLW wrestler making his VWE debut, is revealed as "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson!
Match #2: "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson defeated Redd Dogg and Scott Taylor in a handicap match
- Danielson put away Dogg via CATTLE MUTILATION
- afterward, Danielson offered/challenged Taylor to continue the match one on one. Taylor accepted but Danielson won via a Yakuza Kick.
- as Danielson gets his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud how far will Danielson go now that he has joined the VWE?
Match #3: Rob Van Dam defeated Curt Hennig
- tag team partners who were forced to wrestle each other tonight at Vegasmania by VWE Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, RVD and Hennig shook hands before this match started.
- RVD won via his FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH
- afterward, RVD started to help up Hennig when both of them were suddenly hit by RUSSIAN SICKLES from Nikita Koloff who on the last RAW was revealed as DiBiase's soldier. Laughing, DiBiase then entered the ring and said he had some major announcements.
In the Ring: DiBiase (accompanied by Nikita Koloff and Larry "The Axe" Hennig)
- DiBiase's major announcemnts:
- this month's PPV (later in April) will be Backlash and next month's PPV will be Judgment Day.
- at the end of next month, during Memorial Day Weekend, there will be a multiple day tag team tournament called the Major League Wrestling Memorial Cup with the winners receiving $1 million! DiBiase says the first tag team entrant in the tournament will be himself and Nikita Koloff!
- Vegas Wrestling Entertainment (VWE) is being renamed Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) and this name change is effective as of now!
End of First Third. Second Third posted next.

Vegasmania continues!
Vegas Wrestling Entertainment (VWE) Vegasmania T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV April 2, Year 1 (Second Third of the show, First Third is posted above)
Match #4: The Dream Team defeated the Rock N' Roll Express in a special attraction match
- despite the Rock N' Roll Express being heavily favored as the guest wrestlers in this matchup, VWF regulars the Dream Team prevailed when Greg Valentine forced Robert Gibson to tap out to his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK after Beefcake got away with nailing Gibson with a foreign object.
Match #5: Bobo Brazil defeated United States Champion Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan)
- a good match, Brazil won via a COCO BUTT to become the new United States Champion.
- as Brazil gets his hand raised in victory and receives the United States Championship, Striker and Zbyszko comment that back in Major League Wrestling Brazil was a 2 time former World Champion but this is his first-ever United States Championship reign.
Match #6A: VWF Tag Team Champions Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page defeated Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) by DQ
- the first fall for this VWF Tag Team Championship match ended in a DQ as Daivari got his team DQd by smashing Randy Savage with a steel chair and then tossing the chair to DDP who instinctively caught it. The referee saw Daivari's interference and called for the bell, but when Savage turned around he saw DDP holding the steel chair and thought DDP hit him with the chair as the two of them have had some major chemistry issues lately. DDP told Savage it was Daivari who hit him with the chair and that is why the referee awarded them the fall but Savage is not sure whether to believe him as Striker and Zbyszko speculate aloud that they think Daivari sacrificed this fall in order to crate more disunity between Savage and DDP and thus increase the chances of the Iron Sheik and Volkoff winning the overall match and thus the VWF Tag Team Championship.
Match #6B: VWF Tag Team Champions Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page defeated Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) - Iron Sheik and Volkoff took advantage of the confusion about the ending of the first fall and nearly defeated Savage 3 times but DDP blind tagged himself into the match and pinned Volkoff after two consecutive DIAMOND CUTTERS.
- Striker and Zbyszko comment that Savage and DDP retain the VWF Tag Team Championship even though they are obviously still dealing with internal issues between them.
Match #7: Sting defeated Great Muta in a special attraction match
- in what so far has been the match of Vegasmania, Sting prevailed when he pinned Muta after a missed deathjump.
- afterward, the crowd gave both Sting and Great Muta a standing ovation in appreciation and chanted "please come back" until DiBiase appeared and said both Sting and Muta will be back next month as he is making them a tag team entrant in the 3 day Major League Wrestling Memorial Cup .!
End of Second Third. Final Third posted next.

Vegasmania concludes!
Vegas Wrestling Entertainment (VWE) Vegasmania T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV April 2, Year 1 (Final Third of the show, First Third and Second Third are both posted above)
Match #8: Ric Flair defeated Dusty Rhodes in a special attraction match
- a good competitive match, Flair won via PIN USING ROPES
Match #9: Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka defeated the Road Warriors in a Las Vegas street fight
- Brody and Snuka picked up the victory over their enemies the Road Warriors when Brody pinned Road Warrior Animal via his JUMPING KNEE DROP
- afterward, Snuka announced he and Brody would be entering next month's Major League Wrestling Memorial Cup as Striker and Zbyszko comment that if Snuka and Brody can defeat the Road Warriors like they did tonight then there is probably nobody they can not defeat in the Major League Wrestling Memorial Cup.
Backstage: Buddy Rogers is getting ready for his main event match when he is approached by Ric Flair. Flair says he knows Rogers is considered the original Nature Boy but says he has signed a contract to return next year at Vegasmania 2 and he wants Rogers as his opponent so they can determine who is the better Nature Boy. Rogers agrees to wrestle Flair next year at Vegasmania 2!
Match #10, the main event: VWF Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (accompanied by Nikita Koloff and Larry "The Axe" Hennig) defeated VWF Champion Lou Thesz and Buddy Rogers
- a really good match, the ending came when Koloff hit Rogers with a RUSSIAN SICKLE and DiBiase proceeded to pin Rogers via a gut wrench suplex.
- as a result, DiBiase is the new VWF Champion.
- as DiBiase laughs out loud toward the sky while holding the VWF Championship, Vegasmania comes to an end.
End of show.
