It is now time for the start of Backlash!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Backlash April 30, Year 1 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of the show)
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko

- Firpo eliminated Stratus after a backbreaker
- Firpo eliminated Lane via EL GARFIO
- Firpo eliminated The Destroyer via a backbreaker
- as a result, Firpo wins his second consecutive Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match as he also won the one at Vegasmania
Match #2: Gorgeous George defeated Scott Taylor (accompanied by Redd Dogg)
- Taylor challenged George to this match hoping to make a name for himself in the VWF and nearly won this match as he made George survive 4 near pinfall attempts before George finally prevailed via his Gorgeous Grip
Match #3 Curt Hennig defeated King Kong Bundy by DQ
- this match, Bundy's debut VWF match, was set up after Bundy (a member of VWF Chairman of the Board and VWF Champion The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase's Cabinet) attacked Hennig- an old enemy of DiBiase who upset DiBiase by supporting DiBiase's challenger for tonight Lou Thesz- at the end of a recent RAW.
-this match ended in a DQ when Bundy set up Hennig on a table outside of the ring and then delivered a big splash from the apron to send Hennig crashing through the table as DiBiase appeared delighted and laughed as it appeared Bundy's orders tonight were about taking out Hennig rather than winning this match
Match #4: Hacksaw Jim Duggan and "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson defeated Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, and Shawn Daivari in a handicap tornado match
- this was a good grudge match ultimately won by Duggan and Danielson when Duggan pinned the Iron Sheik via a piledriver.
End of First Third. Second Third posted next.

- Third/Final Fall: Savage pinned Brody via his FLYING ELBOW SMASH. As a result, Savage and DDP win this match 2-1 and retain the VWF Tag Team Championship.
- as Savage shoves one of the VWF Tag Team Championship belts into DDP's chest, the two tag team champions exchange words with each other as they head to the back. - Rogers had Koloff in trouble early but Koloff prevailed via his RUSSIAN SICKLE after a low blow.

- afterward, DiBiase was seen laughing hard in the ring and celebrating with his Cabinet as Backlash came to an end.

DiBiase manages to retain the VWF title, but his efforts appeared less than noble... Thesz needs to appeal this decision... How can he obtain a fair shake against the Chairman of the Board?
Excellent show!

The first RAW following Backlash!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #19 May 1, Year 1
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: King Kong Bundy (accompanied by VWF Champion and VWF Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase) defeated Ron Hutchinson
- Bundy, who made his VWF in ring debut this past weekend at Backlash, at times played with Hutchinson by lifting up his head before the referee could complete the 3 count in order to inflict more punishment- although this almost hurt Bundy later as Hutchinson briefly managed to go on a brief but impressive series of offense. The end occurred when DiBiase distracted Hutchinson who was then hit by an ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE which gave Bundy the victory.
- afterward, DiBiase announced Bundy would be his tag team partner in the MLW Memorial Cup Tournament!
Backstage: United States Champion Bobo Brazil is approached by Trish Stratus. Stratus says she knows Brazil back in Major League Wrestling once won a major tag team tournament called the Sammartino Invitational with Mil Mascaras as the Brothers of Other Mothers and she wants to offer to be his tag team partner in the MLW Memorial Cup so she can continue to prove she is just as good as any of the male wrestlers here in the VWF. Brazil says he will think about it.
Match #2: Hacksaw Jim Duggan and "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari)
- this grudge tag team match between two tag teams recently added to the list of MLW Memorial Cup participants was won by Duggan and Danielson when Duggan pinned Volkoff via a deathjump.
June PPV: Judgment Day
July PPV: Great American Bash (during July 4th weekend)
DiBiase's Office: DiBiase is with VWF Tag Team Champions Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page
- DiBiase tells Savage and DDP it is obvious the two of them are not on the same page but they need to find some better chemistry soon because they will be in the MLW Memorial Cup and if they are not among the remaining teams going into the 4th and final night then the will be defending the MLW Tag Team Championship on Night 4 which is the night any champion eliminated in the first 3 days will also be defending their championship.
- as Savage and DDP leave, Buddy Rogers enters. Rogers tells DiBiase that back in Major League Wrestling he would lead his group the Four Horsemen into battle in War Games matches at the Great American Bash and with a Great American Bash PPV being announced tonight he wants to challenge the Cabinet to a War Games match. Rogers says he is certain he can get Lou Thesz, who DiBiase defeated this past weekend at Backlash to retain the VWF Championship thanks to cheating from the Cabinet, for his team. DiBiase smirks and says, speaking of Rogers and Thesz, next week on RAW they will be taking on the Road Warriors in a MLW Memorial Cup preview match!
Match #3: Pampero Firpo defeated Nikita Koloff in a United States Championship #1 contender's match
- Firpo won via EL GARFIO thanks to Koloff (a member of DiBiase's Cabinet) getting distracted by Buddy Rogers who fought Koloff this past weekend at Backlash.
- as a result, Firpo gets a United States Championship match
Backstage: Rob Van Dam approaches King Kong Bundy upset about how Bundy took out his tag team partner Curt Hennig this past weekend at Backlash. RVD says he and Hennig have entered the MLW Memorial Cup so Hennig is expected back soon but he (RVD) nevertheless challenges Bundy to a match next week on RAW so he can teach Bundy a lesson.
Match #4: Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan) and Larry "The Axe" Hennig defeated Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka in a MLW Memorial Cup preview match
- a good match won by Race and Hennig when Race hit Brody with a DIVING HEADBUTT and Heenan got away with holding down Brody's legs as the referee made the 3 count.
End of Show.
