Bye or no bye I'm taking the ROAD WARRIORS to take the cup, beating and getting revenge on MVC, bracket permitting, in finals.
I had to call in a few favors but managed to get tickets for both nights, gonna be spectacular!

it is now time to start the MLW Memorial Cup!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) MLW Memorial Cup Night 1 May 25, Year 1 (First Half of show)
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Dark Match: Ron Hutchinson defeated Wild Bill White
- Hutchinson won via a Kiwi Roll
Match #1: Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan and "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in a First Round match
- the 1st first round match also was a grudge match as Duggan and Danielson took on their enemies the Iron Sheik and Volkoff
- a good match nearly won by Duggan and Danielson, but the end came when the Iron Sheik made Duggan tap out to a Boston Crab after Daivari got away with spraying Duggan in the face with some type of foreign substance
Match #2: Fantastics defeated Road Dogg and Scott Taylor in a First Round match
- Fantastics advanced to the next round when Tommy Rogers pinned Taylor after a FANTASTIC FLIP
Match #3: The Destroyer and Gorgeous George defeated United States Champion Bobo Brazil and Trish Stratus in a First Round match
- Trish Stratus, always eager to prove she can mix it up with the male VWF competitors, looked great in the ring against both The Destroyer and George.
- the end came when The Destroyer (who has been seen backstage stalking Brazil for awhile) forced Brazil to tap out to his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK as he and George, despite Stratus fervently trying to point out their cheating to the referee, got away with George grabbing The Destroyer's hands for extra leverage as The Destroyer applied his finishing hold on the United States Champion who was forced to tap out
- Striker and Zbyszko comment that Brazil's elimination, per stipulation announced on RAW weeks ago by VWF Champion and Chairman "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase about champions who get eliminated in the first three nights of the tournament, means Brazil will be defending the United States Championship later this weekend on Night 4.
Match #4: Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan) and Larry "The Axe" Hennig defeated Country Rock ("Cowboy" Scott Casey and "The Rocker' Marty Jannetty) in a First Round match
- Race made Casey tap out to an Indian Deathlock
Match #5: Big Van Vader defeated Sting in a special attraction match
- Vader defeated Sting (competing in this tournament with Great Muta starting next round as they were awarded a first round bye) via a POWER BOMB
End of First Half. Second Half of Night 1 posted next.
