Congrats to Randy Savage & Roddy Piper (who I thought about picking as I'm a huge fan of both!) on winning the MLW Memorial Cup. It was crazy to see two teams that aren't traditional teams get to the finals. My pick of Bockwinkel & Stevens made it to the final four but couldn't get to the finals unfortunately.
Nevertheless, that was a completely awesome tournament. A standing ovation from me.

- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Nacho Barrera defeated Mikey Whipwreck
- Whipwreck, who was distracted by the sudden ringside appearance of Dan Severn, lost this match to Barrera via a suplex.
- As a result, Barrera gets his first victory in the VWF.
- Afterward, Severn entered the ring and attacked Whipwreck!
- Severn, who at the MLW Memorial Cup expressed frustration at his loss to Cactus Jack, says he is disgusted being here on the VWF's hardcore brand EAWA and he is declaring war against Whipwreck and all hardcore wrestlers! Severn says he will prove the superiority of his technical style by winning this year's Bunkhouse Stampede which he says he will qualify for tonight by winning the battle royal qualifier main event!
In the Ring: EWA General Manager Angelo Poffo. Poffo says it is now time to introduce new Cruiserweight Champion Hardcore Hodge!
- Hodge, who won the Cruiserweight Championship from Eddie Gilbert this past weekend at the MLW Memorial Cup, appears. Hodge, who is now tied with Tiger Mask with a record 3 Cruiserweight Championships, says this will be his longest reign as Cruiserweight Champion when he is suddenly attacked from behind by Disco Inferno!

Match #3: Brian Christoper defeated Diamond Dallas Page (accompanied by Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas and Francine)
- This match ended when Douglas tried to help out DDP by jumping onto the apron and attempting to smash Christopher who was being held from behind by DDP. Christopher, however, ducked out of the way and Douglas instead accidentally smashed DDP with the Brass Knuckles Championship! Christopher then pinned a stunned DDP via his HIP HOP DROP.

Fargo is a tremendous brawler... Consistently successful in my Legends fed and I'm not surprised that he emerged victorious in that brutal main event... Very entertaining, my friend... As always!
