Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Money in the Bank: Smackdown July 23, Year 2 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV (Final Third of show, First Third and Second Third are both posted above)
Match #8: Harley Race defeated Tully Blanchard (managed by JJ Dillon)
- This long anticipated matchup between two former World Champions was set up at Vegasmania 2 when Race rejected Blanchard's offer to rejoin the Horsemen and instead responded by giving Blanchard a PILEDRIVER on top of his (Race's) newly won World Championship.
- Race won via a PILEDRIVER.
Match #9: David Taylor defeated Buddy Rogers, Magnum TA, Stan Hansen, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Abdullah the Butcher in the Smackdown Money in the Bank ladder match
- Rogers at one point almost had the victory but Duggan managed to knock down the ladder right before he grabbed the briefcase. Instead, Taylor grabbed a ladder and managed to climb up it to grab the briefcase to win the match.
{Promoter's Note: For me in this match, the most surprising thing was not that Taylor won- although that was certainly surprising- but that his PIN was up to 11 when he did win.}
Match #10: World Champion Johnny Valentine (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated Bruiser Brody
- Duggan won via a sleeper to retain the World Championship.
End of Show. End of Pay Per View Weekend: Money in the Bank (I wanted to get this PPV series completed before I fly out to Indianapolis tomorrow morning.)

Woah! Another upset in the MitB ladder match! The Nature Boy cannot be happy with Duggan for costing him the victory... Excited for the potential fallout!

(Swooh) I caught up finally...man, you are a posting machine! If a person takes a few days off, it'll take forever to catch up! Congrats go out to Greg Valentine, Konnan, and Taylor for winning their perspective MITB contests! Something that most people missed I think is King Kong Bundy won the US title!!! That is awesome...he should have received some gold (at least tag gold) in his career in the WWE! Plus, he was the basis for one of my fav TV shows "Married with Children". Stay with the usual count Bundy...keep that belt rather than showing off! Great PPVs and series of shows sir.

What an amazing whirlwind of action packed shows. Unlike my fellow promoters I don't consider it an upset to see Greg Valentine grab a MITB win. He was an awesome wrestler in great physical condition in his prime years. There was so much to take in I wouldn't do it justice recapping but yeah the VWF continues to be a gold standard on the Legends board.

The first episode of RAW following Pay Per View Weekend: Money in the Bank!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #80 July 24th, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
In the Ring: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard
- Blanchard says he will start tonight's show by introducing the new United States Champion King Kong Bundy.
- Bundy who won the United States Championship- his first-ever championship in his time in the combined history of MLW-VWF- this past weekend at Money in the Bank: RAW appears with his manager Bobby Heenan. Heenan starts to brag about now managing both the VWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel and the United States Champion Bundy when Bundy gets confronted by his enemy Bobo Brazil. Brazil- a 2 time United States Champion- challenges Bundy to a United States Championship match at Summerslam. Heenan tells Brazil that they will consider it if he (Brazil) can defeat Blackjack Mulligan next week on RAW!
Match #1: Brutus Beefcake defeated "Cowboy" Scott Casey
- Beefcake won via a suplex.
- Afterward, Beefcake said it is hard for him to believe that his former tag team partner Greg Valentine is the current holder of the RAW Money in the Bank briefcase when Valentine was always the weakest member of the Dream Team.
The Summer Slam Scramble- a 9 man scramble match at Summerslam featuring 3 wrestlers from each VWF brand with the winner receiving a shot at their brand's top championship the week following Summerslam!
Match #2: Alexis Smirnoff defeated Val Venis
- a good match, Smirnoff won via his HEART PUNCH.
Backstage: Blanchard tells Lou Thesz that next week on RAW he will be in an elimination match against Randy Savage, Barry Windham, and Jimmy Snuka with the winner challenging VWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel at Summerslam!
Match #3: "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith defeated Diamond Dallas Page
- A good match, Smith won via a delayed vertical suplex.
Backstage: Blanchard tells Stars and Stripes- who defeated their enemies the Bolsheviks in a bootcamp match at Money in the Bank: RAW this past weekend- that if the Midnight Express fail to defeat the Road Warriors in tonight's main event then they (Stars and Stripes) instead will receive the VWF Tag Team Championship match against the Road Warriors at Summerslam.
Match #4: VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors defeated the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, managed by Melina and accompanied by Mr. Hughes) in a non-title match
- for this match, just like for the Road Warriors match at Summerslam, the same 2 men in large hats and overcoats were seen watching the match from ringside
- a great main event, the Midnight Express- who narrowly lost a 2-1 decision to the Road Warriors this past weekend at Money in the Bank: RAW- came very close multiple times to win this match but the end came when Road Warrior Animal pinned Eaton following the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
- as a result, the Road Warriors will defend the VWF Tag Team Championship against Stars and Stripes instead of the Midnight Express at Summerslam.
Summerslam August 20, Year 2 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. Stars and Stripes vs VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors 2. Vixens Champion Trish Stratus vs Fabulous Moolah 3. Summerlam Scramble; participants TBD 4. more matches TBA
End of Show.
