- Long says that the winning tag team of this next 4 way elimination tag match will get a World Tag Team Championship match against the Rock N' Roll Express at Summerslam Dark Smackdown, the two final tag teams to get eliminated will instead participate in the multi-brand four-way tag elimination at Summerslam for another shot at their brand's main tag team championship the following week on their brand's TV show, and the first tag team to get eliminated will compete only for Smackdown's secondary tag team championship in a match against the United States Tag Team Champions Fantastics on Summerslam Dark Smackdown!

Match #2: The Quebecers defeated the James Gang, the Sheepherders, and the Armstrongs in a 4 way tag elimination match

- Sheepherders eliminated the Armstrongs when Luke Williams pinned "Bullet" Bob Armstrong via BATTERING RAM.

- James Gang eliminated Sheepherders when Kip James put away Williams via the JAMES GANG AMBUSH.

- The Quebecers eliminated the James Gang when Jacques Rougeau pinned Kip James via a second rope body block.

- As a result, the Quebecers will challenge the Rock N' Roll Express for the World Tag Team Championship on Summerslam Dark Smackdown, both the James Gang and the Sheepherders will be in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way multibrand tag elimination at Summerslam for a possible World Tag Team Championship match in 3 weeks, and the Armstrongs will challenge the Fantastics for the United States Tag Team Championship on Summerslam Dark Smackdown.

Backstage: Long tells Ladies Champion Sherri Martel that her match against Green will take place at Summerslam Dark Smackdown.

Match #3: Summerslam Scramble Qualifying Battle Royal


- This battle royal was to determine the final Smackdown spot in the multibrand Summerslam Scramble at Summerslam.

Match #4: Harley Race defeated Tully Blanchard (managed by JJ Dillon)

- Race, who defeated his enemy Blanchard here on Smackdown just 2 weeks ago, again got the victory in this grudge matchup as he won this match via his DIVING HEADBUTT.

- Afterward, Race demanded that with his 2 recent victories over Blanchard, a former World Champion, he receive the World Championship match against Johnny Valentine- one of Blanchard's fellow Horsemen- at Summerslam!

- Valentine, along with fellow Horsemen Buddy Rogers, arrived and confronted Race who was then hit with a low blow from behind by Blanchard. Blanchard, Valentine, and Rogers proceeded with a 3 on 1 attack upon Race until Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen arrived to make the save.

- Long then appeared and said at Summerslam he wants to find out just how loyal the Horsemen are to each other because he is declaring the Summerslam main event to be Race/Brody/Hansen/ vs Valentine/Rogers/Blanchard in a 6 man tag elimination- and it will be for Valentine's World Championship!

Very cool to see a new show posted and what a show it was. Awesome win for Susan Green after Mildred Burke had such a dominant run. A win over Burke is huge. Great to see The Quebecers and Magnum T.A. pick up big wins as well heading into SummerSlam.

The news about Johnny Valentine's world title being up for grabs in the six-man is wild. You gotta love Teddy Long shaking things up and that match is interesting no matter what side you are on.

Blanchard says, in addition to the winner of this match getting the final spot in the Summerslam Scrmable- which could lead to a VWF Championship match in 2 weeks from today- the last wrestler eliminated will instead challenge King Kong Bundy for the United States Championship at Summerslam and the first two wrestlers eliminated will wrestle each other at Summerslam!

Match #1: Randy Savage defeated Lou Thesz, Bobo Brazil, and Barry Windham in a Summerslam Scramble Qualifying elimination match

- Windham defeated Brazil via BLACKJACK CLAW

- Savage defeated Windham via FLYING ELBOW SMASH

- Savage defeated Thesz via neckbreaker clothesline

- As a result, Savage wins the final spot in the Summerslam Scramble, Thesz will challenge Bundy for the United States Championship at Summerslam, and Windham and Brazil will have a match against each other at Summerslam.

Backstage: "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith is told by Blanchard he will wrestle Blackjack Mulligan next week on Summerslam Dark RAW!

Match #2: Johnny Saint defeated Exotic Adrian Street in a Cruiserweight Championship Qualifying four way elimination match

- Saint won quickly via cutlock and folding press.

- As a result, Saint wins the RAW spot in the multibrand four-way elimination Cruiserweight Championship match taking place on the preshow at Summerslam!

- Afterward, Street got attacked in the ring by Brutus Beefcake who told him he just found out they have a match against each other next week on Summerslam Dark RAW.

Backstage: Diamond Dallas Page is informed by Blanchard he will be wrestling Val Venis next week on Summerslam Dark RAW.

Match #3: Fabulous Moolah, Beverly Shade, and Toni Rose defeated Vixens Champion Trish Stratus, Nora Greenwald, and Tina Moretti

- less than 2 weeks before Moolah challenges Stratus for the Vixens Championship at Summerslam, Moolah scored the pinfall in this match when she pinned Moretti via a JACKKNIFE CRADLE.

Backstage: After the 6 women's tag match ends, Blanchard tells Sam Houston and "Cowboy" Scott Casey that there will be a 6 man tag on next week's episode of RAW- which will be Summerslam Dark RAW- involving them and D'Lo Brown against Alexis Smirnoff and the Bolsheviks. As Blanchard walks away, Houston and Casy express some concern about having to team with Brown next week.

Match #4: VWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel, United States Champion King Kong Bundy, and Ray Stevens (all managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Jimmy Snuka and VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors by DQ

- Before this match started, Bundy announced that at Summerslam he will be squashing Lou Thesz like a bug!

- For this match, like all recent matches involving the Road Warriors, two large men wearing hats and turncoats were seen sitting in the front row.

- This match, which involved all of the mens champions on the RAW brand other than Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George, ended in a DQ when the action spilled out of the ring where, upon seeing Bundy in trouble, Heenan got away with smashing the referee in the back with a steel chair and then tossing the chair to Thesz who got DQd when the referee turned around and saw Thesz holding the steel chair.

Well, if Thesz can win the United States Championship from Bundy and manage to keep it for 6 months of game time (so whenever my fed reaches February Year 3) he will be allowed to cash it in for a VWF Championship match. I always do that for wrestlers in my LOW and COTG feds who have secondary championships since I figure their main goal is to win the top title.

Following last week's sabotage by EAWA Champion Big Van Vader of the grudge match and #1 Contender's main event between enemies Steve "Dr. Death" Williams and Terry Gordy, EAWA General Manager Angelo Poffo, in addition to declaring last week that Vader will now defend the EAWA Championship against both Williams and Gordy at Summerslam, has booked the feuding MVC vs Vader and his manager "Precious" Paul Ellering as the main event for this week's episode of EAWA!

- In addition, Poffo has determined that the winner of this week's matchup (announced last week) between the Texas Hangmen and the Pitbulls will be the EAWA representative in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 way tag elimination match at Summerslam.
