{Promoter's Note: I just finished watching NXT: TakeOver XXX- congrats to Karrion Kross!- and now I am watching the rest of BLP's 2nd show today while I played out and posted these results.}
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Smackdown #50 August 17th, Year 2 (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: United States Tag Team Champions Fantastics defeated Armstrongs
- First Fall: An extremely competitive fall in which the Armstrongs came repeatedly close to scoring a pinfall, this fall ended when Tommy Rogers pinned Brad Armstrong after a power slam. Fantastics up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Bobby Fulton pinned Bob Armstrong via the ROCKER LAUNCHER performed in tandem with Rogers. Fantastics win 2-0.
- As a result, Fantastics retain the United States Tag Team Championship.
Backstage: Buddy Rogers is interviewed and asked if he is more concerned about the Horsemen securing a victory in the 6 man tag elimination main event against Harley Race, Bruiser Brody, and Stan Hansen at Summerslam or- due to the match's elimination stipulation that could theoretically see the World Championship change hands multiple times during the course of the match- if he is concentrating more on trying to find a way to leave with the World Championship currently held by fellow Horsemen Johnny Valentine. Rogers responded that obviously whoever leaves with the World Championship at Summerslam will be on the winning team and he is just concentrating on the Horsemen leaving Summerslam victorious.
Match #5: Intercontinental Champion Killer Kowalski (accompanied by Abdullah the Butcher) defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan
- Thanks to sudden surprising interference from Ivan Koloff, Kowalski won this match via his KOWALSKI CLAW. As a result, Kowalski retains the Intercontinental Championship.
- Afterward, Kowalski said Abdullah the Butcher will now be teaming with Koloff under his tutelage and he called this new combination The Butcher and The Bear.
Match #6: World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express defeated the Quebecers
- First Fall: A really good competitive fall in which the Quebecers came extremely close to victory. However, the Rock N' Roll Express won this fall when Ricky Morton pinned Jacques Rougeau after a CROSS BODY BLOCK. Rock N' Roll Express up 1-0.
- Second Fall: The Rock N' Roll Express controlled most of this match and won when Morton pinned Rougeau following DOUBLE DROPKICK. Rock N' Roll Express win 2-0.
- As a result, the Rock N' Roll Express retained the World Tag Team Championship.
End of Show. See you next for Summerslam!
