Bobby Heenan must be absolutely going nuts right now about the stipulation.of the Thesz match...weirdly, I can see him spazzing out in my mind's eye- man, I miss his antics! Really liked the last card...and DDP has no chance against the Macho Man!

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) EAWA #23 September 5th, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Iron Sheik (managed by Shawn Daivari) defeated Ric McCord
- This match marked the VWF debut for McCord.
- Iron Sheik, who is challenging Sandman for the Brass Knuckles Championship at Hardcore Heaven, won this match without much problem via his CAMEL CLUTCH.
- Afterward, Daivari said the Iron Sheik (who is going for his record 4th reign as Brass Knuckles Champion) is challenging Sandman to agree to make the stipulation for their Brass Knuckles Championship match at Hardcore Heaven a Boot Camp match!
A Harcore Hero makes his return next week on EAWA!
Match #2: Juventud Guerrera defeated Vampiro (managed by Al Snow)
- As this match was beginning, Striker and Zbyszo mentioned they have received word that the Sandman has agreed to the Boot Camp stipulation for his Brass Knuckles Championship defense at Hardcore Heaven!
- Less than 2 weeks before Guerrera and Vampio wrestle both each other and Konnan in a triple threat at Hardcore Heaven and 1 week after Konnan defeated Guerrera, Guerrera won this match via his 450 SPLASH.
- Afterward, Striker and Zbyszko mentioned that next week Konnan will wrestle Vampiro to complete this round robin going into the triple threat at Hardcore Heaven.
Backstage: An angry Rob Van Dam walks into EAWA General Manager Angelo Poffo's office and demands a match against Jerry Lynn- who attacked him backstage last week on EAWA- at Hardcore Heaven. Poffo agrees to RVD's request!
Match #3: The Vachons (managed by The Sicilian) defeated the Valiants in an EAWA Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's match
- A great tag match between two of the most decorated tag teams in the history of the EAWA brand as the Vachons and the Valiants have had 3 EAWA Tag Team Championship reigns and 2 EAWA Tag Team Championship reigns respectively.
- The Vachons won when Butcher Vachon pinned Jimmy Valiant following the Vachons' QUADRUPLE FOOT STOMP.
- As a result, the Vachons (seeking their record 4th reign as EAWA Tag Team Champions) have been added to the EAWA Tag Team Championship match involving the defending champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo and the Pitbulls in a 3 way tag elimination match at Hardcore Heaven!
Dan "The Beast" Severn has signed with the VWF and been assigned to the EAWA brand where he will make his debut in a match at Hardcore Heaven!
Match #4: Steve "Dr. Death" Williams defeated Terry Gordy
- The stipulation of this grudge match was that the winner got to choose the stipulation for their match against each other at Hardcore Heaven.
- Williams won via his BACKDROP DRIVER.
- Afterward, Williams said he is choosing a barbed wire steel cage match for his match against Gordy at Hardcore Heaven where he plans to end their feud once and for all!

Unfortunate that Vampiro failed to beat Juvi... Hoping he fares better against Konnan to even up the series before heading into that big Triple Threat at HH... Totally stoked for the upcoming match between RVD and Lynn as well... Classic!

- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Tiger Conway Sr. (accompanied by Tiger Conway Jr.) defeated Lenny Lane
- Conway Sr. pinned Lane following QUADRUPLE HEAD BUTT.
- Afterward, Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long appeared and said, as a result of his victory tonight, Conway Sr. is getting added to the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way elimination match at No Mercy.
Jim Londos is coming to Smackdown!
Match #2: Magnum TA defeated Jake "The Milkman" Milliman
- Magnum TA won his match quickly for the second straight week on Smackdown getting the victory this week via dropkicks after just 3 moves.
- As Magnum TA got his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud who Magnum TA's opponent will be at No Mercy.
Backstage: Long tells World Champion Bruiser Brody that next week on Smackdown he and his friend Stan Hansen will take on their respective No Mercy opponents Harley Race and Fit Finlay in a tag team match!
Match #3: Stan Hansen defeated David Taylor (accompanied by Fit Finlay)
- Just over a week before he takes on Finlay in a match at No Mercy, Hansen had to withstand an offensive onslaught by Taylor that was aided by Finlay's interference. Hansen however gained control of the match and won via his LARIAT.
