The Long Riders have invested a fair bit of energy scouting the Road Warriors and I'm excited for their debut... You've done a great job building up their arrival and here's hoping things pan out... Great stuff, as always!

The first RAW following Unforgiven!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #88 September 18th, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
In the Ring: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard. Blanchard says it is now time to introduce new VWF Champion Barry Windham!
- Windham, who won the VWF Championship by defeating Jimmy Snuka three days ago at Unforgiven, appears and says it is an honor to join Snuka as the only two wrestlers to have held both the VWF Championship and the United States Championship. - "Macho Man" Randy Savage- who at Unforgiven defeated his enemy Diamond Dallas Page in a falls count anywhere match- appears and congratulates Windham on winning the VWF Championship which is a title Savage once held for 10 months. Savage asks Blanchard to schedule him a #1 Contender's match because he wants to challenge Windham and try to regain the VWF Championship. Windham however graciously tells Savage that, since Savage is the longest-reigning VWF Champion, as far as he (Windham) is concerned Savage should not need to qualify for a title match and it would be an honor to compete against Savage at War Games. Windham and Savage shake hands!
Match #1: Baron Von Raschke defeated "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay
- this match marked the VWF debut for Von Raschke.
- Von Raschke did not take the "Sodbuster" very seriously and it almost cost him the match as Jay scored an early near pinfall via a back body drop. Von Raschke however battled back and won via his BRAIN CLAW which he refused to relinquish at first after the referee called for the bell.
Backstage: "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith is attacked by Alexis Smirnoff and the Bolsheviks. Smirnoff tells Smith- who teamed with Stars and Stripes to defeat Smirnoff and the Bolsheviks in a 6 man steel cage tag match- that they may be done with Stars and Stripes for now as that steel cage was a feud-ending match but they are not done with him. After their attack is over, Smirnoff sarcastically tells Smith good luck in his United States Championship #1 Contender's match tonight.
Match #2: Sam Houston and "Cowboy" Scott Casey defeated the Long Riders
- This match marked the in-ring debut of the Long Riders who for the past couple of months have sat ringside at matches involving the Road Warriors and whose outside interference at Unforgiven caused the Road Warriors to lose the VWF Tag Team Championship.
- This match ended when the Road Warriors appeared at ringside and angrily yelled at the Long Riders for costing them the VWF Tag Team Championship three nights ago at Unforgiven. This distracted the Long Riders and allowed Houston and Casey to get the impressive victory when Houston pinned Scott "Hog" Irwin via a BULLDOG.
- Afterward, the Road Warriors and the Long Riders brawled in the ring until commercial break.
The Briscos- who made their VWF debut at Unforgiven in a losing effort to the Midnight Express- make their RAW debut next week!
Match #3: Johnny Saint defeated "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith by forfeit in a United States Championship #1 Contender's match
- Saint was in the ring ready to begin this match but RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard appeared and said Smith had to forfeit because he is now enroute to the hospital due to the backstage attack unflicted upon him by Smirnoff and the Bolsheviks earlier tonight and, as a result, Saint will automatically get to challenge King Kong Bundy for the United States Championship on RAW in 2 weeks.
- Saint looked frustrated and told Blanchard he would have preferred to earn that opportunity through competition but he will nevertheless be ready for Bundy in 2 weeks and he plans to win the United States Championship!
Backstage: Lou Thesz tells Bobo Brazil that he is currently putting a team together to take on the Heenan Family in the War Games match at War Games as Blanchard told him he would put the Heenan Family in the War Games match against them if he (Thesz) can put together a team of 5. Thesz says Heenan's cheating cost him (Brazil) to lose his chance at winning the United States Championship from Bundy at Unforgiven and also cost himself (Thesz) to lose to Blackjack Mulligan at Unforgiven which cost Thesz a chance to take on Heenan in a match afterward per match stipulation. Thesz says since the Heenan Family only has 4 members that Heenan himself will have to be the 5th member in the War Games match and so War Ganes is finally a chance for him (Thesz) to get his hands on Heenan. Brazil says he will join Thesz's team! Jimmy Snuka then appears and says he will join Thesz's team too for War Games! Thesz says great and now he just needs to find two more wrestlers to join them.
Backstage: a panicked Heenan tells the press he will not be participating in the War Games match alongside the Heenan Family as he will have a 5th member signed by then to take his place.
Match #4: Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, managed by Melina and also accompanied by Mr. Hughes) defeated Stars and Stripes in a VWF Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's match
- This match ended when Eaton pinned Del Wilkes via his Alabama Jam.
- As a result, the Midnight Express have secured a VWF Tag Team Championship match against new champions Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens in 2 weeks on RAW!
War Games presented by VWF's RAW brand October 25, Year 2 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. War Games: Lou Thesz, Jimmy Snuka, Bobo Brazil, and 2 wrestlers TBA vs Heenan Family (VWF Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkel/Ray Stevens, United States Champion King Kong Bundy, Blackjack Mulligan, and Bobby Heenan) 2. VWF Champion Barry Windham vs "The Macho Man" Randy Savage 3. more matches TBA

The Long Riders have invested a fair bit of energy scouting the Road Warriors and I'm excited for their debut... You've done a great job building up their arrival and here's hoping things pan out... Great stuff, as always! Thanks! Unfortunately the dice did not give the Long Riders a good debut. The dice however also almost gave an even more surprising debuting defeat to Baron Von Raschke as "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay hit Von Raschke with his Sodbuster Spike to raise his pin to 4 and then got a pin attempt from a back body drop via the choice chart. Von Raschke at that point needed to roll a 5 to stay alive in the match and he rolled exactly a 5 before making a comeback (otherwise he would have gone down with One Man Gang who lost his debut years ago to George South as most disappointing debuts in my fed's history.)

All three ppv events were great Vegas. I especially enjoyed Terry Gordy getting the Barbed Wire cage win over Steve Williams, Bock & Stevens beating the Road Warriors and Harley Race earning back-to-back wins over Brody and Taylor winning the title and defending it. Harley really showed what he is made of there.
