2 title matches on this week's edition of EAWA!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) EAWA #27 October 3rd, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Dan Severn defeated Ric McCord
- McCord put up a good fight but Severn got the victory via a shoulder slam
Backstage: Accompanied by his manager Shawn Daivari, the Iron Sheik complains to EAWA General Manager Angelo Poffo that he was ready to start the match when Severn got that quick victory over him last week to start their Fatal Fourway match last week on EAWA and demands a rematch against Severn for next week. Poffo grants the Iron Sheik's request.
Match #2: The Texas Hangmen defeated the Heroes of Hardcore
- A good tag match. The Texas Hangmen won when Psycho pinned Hardcore Hodge via a swinging neckbreaker.
- Afterward, Hardcore Hutton expressed frustration with Hardcore Hodge as the Heroes of Hardcore remain winless.
Adrian Adonis is coming to the EAWA!
Match #3: EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo defeated the Gilberts (accompanied by Tommy Gilbert)
- For this match to determine who they will challenge for the EAWA Tag Team Championship at Hell in a Cell (as a result of winning last week's Fatal Fourway,) the Valiants provided guest color commentary.
- First Fall: The Gilberts put up a good fight and almost won this fall but lost when The Crusher submitted Doug Gilbert to his CRUSHER BOLO. Crusher and Fargo are up 1-0.
- Second Fall: This fall was more one-sided than the previous fall but it ended similar to the first fall when The Crusher submitted Eddie Gilbert to his CRUSHER NELSON. Crusher and Fargo win 2-0.
- As a result, The Crusher and Jackie Fargo retain the EAWA Tag Team Championship which they will defend against the Valiants at Hell in a Cell.
Backstage: Poffo is with Curt Hennig. Poffo says he was impressed with Hennig defeating Vader last week in the main event Fatal Fourway match and that while the EAWA Championship match at Hell in a Cell is a triple threat between Hennig, Rob Van Dam, and Vader it does not necessarily have to be Vader as the one defending the EAWA Championship in that match and he is awarding Hennig an EAWA Championship match against Vader next week on EAWA!
Match #4: Brass Knuckles Champion Sandman defeated Vampiro (accompanied by Al Snow) in a Singapore Cane match
- For this match to determine who he will challenge for the Brass Knuckles Championship at Hell in a Cell (as a result of winning last week's Fatal Fourway,) Shane Douglas- accompanied by Francine- provided guest color commentary.

- Afterward, Douglas challenged Sandman to make the stipulation for their Brass Knuckles Championship something other than a Singapore Cane match. Sandman suggested a Hell in a Cell match and Douglas agreed! The action is always top notch in the VWF. I have really enjoyed the latest run of shows and I have to say The Crusher & Jackie Fargo has become a favorite pairing of mine.

Thanks for the comment cruefan68! Yeah, although it would be great to get The Bruiser in the game someday, for now The Crusher and Jackie Fargo are a great tag team combination.

Dick the Bruiser is definitely on my list of dream signings, a list which became a little shorter now that we have Adrian Adonis coming! I noticed you said how you might have Adonis join the EAWA. That would be cool to see for sure.
