Match #1: Adrian Adonis (managed by Jimmy Hart) defeated Juventud Guerrera
- Adonis controlled the entire match and won via his finisher GOODNIGHT IRENE.
Backstage: With a beer in his hand, former EAWA Champion and former Brass Knuckles Champion Sandman approaches Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig and tells them he wants to join their 5 man team at Survivor Series. RVD and Hennig accept Sandman's offer and, with Steve "Dr. Death" Williams also part of their team, they now have just 1 open spot.
Match #2: Al Snow (accompanied by Vampiro) defeated Ox Baker
- Snow requested this match as a result of what happened at Hell in a Cell where- due to Snow's constant interference attempts in the coffin match between Konnan and Vampiro- Baker, acting as guest referee, hit Snow with his dreaded HEART PUNCH which distracted Vampiro allowing Konnan to win the match.
- This match ended when Vampiro reached through the ropes to trip Baker who was then hit with a moonsault by Snow for the 3 count.
Backstage: The Sicilian recruits the Valiants onto the Vachons' team of tag teams for Survivor Series.
Match #3: Jerry Lynn defeated Dan Severn
- Before this match started, Severn announced he had accepted an offer to fill the final spot on RVD and Curt Hennig's team at Survivor Series!
- This match ended when Severn's enemy the Iron Sheik and Shawn Daivari appeared at ringside and distracted Severn allowing Lynn to get the victory via his CRADLE DRIVER.
- Afterward, Daivari announced the Iron Sheik will on the team of EAWA Champion Big Van Vader and Brass Knuckles Champions Shane Douglas- and thus on the team opposing Severn's team- at Survivor Series!

Match #1: Koko B. Ware defeated Fit Finlay (accompanied by David Taylor)
- Before this match started, JJ Dillon appeared and told Finlay that if he (Finlay) impressed him in this match then he would allow Finlay and Taylor to team with the Horsemen at Survivor Series against the team led by World Champion Harley Race!
- Finlay controlled almost all of this match but Ware got a reversal and then a couple of moves later stunned Finlay with a BRAINBUSTER for the victory.
- Looking disappointed, Dillon left for the back without speaking to Finlay as Striker and Zbyszko comment that it does not appear that Finlay and Taylor will be teaming with the Horsemen at Survivor Series.
Backstage: General Manager Teddy Long tells Mildred Burke she will captaining a team of women to take on a team of women led by Ladies Champion Sherri Martel at Survivor Series.
- Burke then looks over at Ida Mae Martinez, who is getting ready for her match coming up next and offers the first-ever Ladies Champion a spot on her Survivor Series team!
Match #2: Leilani Kai defeated Ida Mae Martinez
- Kai won via a RUNNING SPLASH.
- Afterward, Martel appeared and offered Kai a spot on her Survivor Series team!
Backstage: Burke asks Rockin Robin, who last week on Smackdown defeated Joyce Grable, to be on her Survivor Series team and Robin says yes!
Match #3: The Butcher and the Bear (Abdullah the Butcher and Ivan Koloff, both managed by Killer Kowalski) defeated the James Gang
- Before this match started, both tag teams made announcements as the James Gang said they have been offered a spot to team with the World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express and the United States Tag Team Champions Fantastics at Survivor Series while Kowalski announced The Butcher and the Bear will be leading the team of tag teams to oppose the team led by the Rock N' Roll Express and Fantastics!!
- A very good tag match. The end came when Koloff pinned Kip James via his Russian Hammer.

Match #1: Beverly Shade and Toni Rose (accompanied by Fabulous Moolah) defeated Jazz and Nora Greenwald (accompanied by Vixens Champion Trish Stratus)
- Before this match started, Moolah announced that both Shade and Rose will be joining her team at Survivor Series along with Judy Martin and Stratus announced that both Jazz and Greenwald will be joining her team along with Tina Moretti at Survivor Series!
- This match ended when Moolah reached through the ropes to trip Jazz who was then hit with a top rope neck snap by Rose for the 3 count.
Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard tells Melina he is making her Midnight Express the captains of a group of RAW tag teams to take on another group of RAW tag teams led by the Briscos at the Survivor Series!

Match #3: British Bulldogs defeated the Long Riders
- The British Bulldogs looked great in this match as they were basically in control the entire time and won when Dynamite Kid pinned "Wild" Bill Irwin via a hooking clothesline.
- Afterward, the Briscos appeared and asked the British Bulldogs to join their team at Survivor Series and the Bulldogs accepted the offer as Striker and Zbyszko excitedly say it will be the Briscos and British Bulldogs teaming together at Survivor Series!
Backstage: Muraco successfully recruits Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George to his Survivor Series team.
Match #4: VWF Champion Barry Windham defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage
- In this rematch from War Games where Windham and Savage wrestled to an inconclusive result due to the outside interference of Muraco, Windham defeated his Survivor Series teammate Savage via his BLACKJACK CLAW to retain the VWF Championship.

- Before this match started, Hart announced that Adonis has been selected to fill one of the two open spots on the Survivor Series team led by EAWA Champion Big Van Vader and Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas!
- Adonis won this match easily in just a few moves via a top rope knee drop.
Backstage: Accompanied by Francine, Douglas recruits Jerry Lynn to fill the final spot on his Survivor Series team!
Match #2: Texas Hangmen defeated the Gilberts (Eddie Gilbert and Doug Gilbert, both accompanied by Tommy Gilbert)
- The Texas Hangmen won this match when Psycho pinned Doug Gilbert via a DDT.

- This match pitted Severn (who is on the Survivor Series team captained by RVD and Hennig against the team captained by Vader and Douglas) against Vader in a non-title match.
- This turned into a very good match that Severn almost won after Vader missed an attempted MOONSAULT. Vader however managed to survive both CHOKE SLEEPERS and ARMBARS to win via a vertical suplex.

- commentator: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Sheepherders defeated Jake "The Milkman" Milliman and George South
- This was a very one-sided match which the Sheepherders won when Luke Williams pinned Milliman following the BATTERING RAM.
- Afterward, Killer Kowalski appeared and told the Sheepherders that The Butcher and The Bear want them on their team of tag teams on next week's Survivor Series.
Next Week: Smackdown will take place on Wednesday night instead of Thursday night as Survivor Series will instead air on Thursday night/Thanksgiving.
Match #2: Candi Divine defeated Princess Victoria
- Princess Victoria looked good in this match but Divine got the victory via a body scissors.
- Afterward, Ladies Champion Sherri Martel appeared and shocked everyone by asking Divine- who she has feuded with in the past- to fill out her team for next week's Survivor Series!
- Divine agreed to be on Martel's team but warned Martel she (Divine) plans to survive their match to get another title shot against Martel!
- Mildred Burke then appeared and said her team will be glad to take Princess Victoria to fill out their team roster.
Backstage: Kowalski adds Fit Finlay and David Taylor to the Smackdown tag teams being led by The Butcher and The Bear at next week's Survivor Series.
Match #3: Armstrongs defeated the Quebecers
- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko said that the Armstrongs have been selected to fill out the Survivor Series team captained by the World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express and the Quebecers have been selected to fill out the the Survivor Series team captained by The Butcher and the Bear.
- A very good tag team match that saw the action repeatedly switch back and forth. The Armstrongs won when Brad Armstrong pinned Pierre Carl Oullett via a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP.
Backstage: JJ Dillon says, while the Horsemen are still looking for a full time 4th member, next week at Survivor Series their partner will be the Barbarian!
Match #4: Intercontinental Champion Buddy Rogers and Johnny Valentine (accompanied by JJ Dillon, Tully Blanchard, and the Barbarian) defeated World Champion Harley Race and Magnum TA
- Before this match started, seeing how outnumbered he and Magnum TA were, Race said it is now time for him to announce the two wrestlers who will fill out his team that is taking on the Horsemen next week at Survivor Series. Race then announces Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen!
- This was a good match but the Horsemen stole a victory when Barbarian got away with reaching through the ropes to rake the eyes of Magnum TA who then tapped out to Rogers' FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE.
- Afterward, seeing what Barbarian got away with, Brody and Hansen entered the ring to confront the Horsemen and an 8 man brawl ensued to end tonight's show.
