3 days before Survivor Series!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #97 November 23rd, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko. Striker and Zbyszko said every listed mystery wrestler and every listed mystery tag team in tonight's lineup will turn out to be the unnamed wrestlers for their teams at this week's Survivor Series PPV!
Match #1: Hillbilly Jim defeated Val Venis
- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko said at Survivor Series there will be a 20 man Preshow battle royal involving wrestlers from all 3 VWF brands with the winner receiving a title shot for their brand's main title and that Hillbilly Jim and Val Venis will be 2 of the 20 participants in this battle royal.
- Hillbilly Jim won via his BEAR HUG.
- Afterward, as Hillbilly Jim stomped and danced in the ring, Striker and Zbyszko comment that Hillbilly Jim due to his strength could be a favorite in the Preshow battle royal at the Survivor Series.
Backstage: Rock Riddle, with Pampero Firpo, approaches RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard. Riddle says he is entering Firpo in the Survivor Series Preshow battle royal and Balnchard responds by saying he (Blanchard) is entering the battle royal too!
Match #2: The Briscos and the British Bulldogs (managed by Captain Lou Albano) defeated the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, managed by Melina and accompanied by Mr. Hughes) and the Long Riders.
- The Long Riders turned out to be the mystery tag team of the Midnight Express for tonight and thus also for Survivor Series against the team of the Briscos and the Bulldogs.
- A very good tag team match, the end came when Dynamite Kid pinned 'Wild" Bill Irwin via his DIVING HEAD BUTT.
- Afterward, Melina waved her arms gesturing for someone from the back to appear and the Bolsheviks ran out and helped the Midnight Express and the Long Riders engage in a 6 on 4 post match beatdown on the Briscos and the Bulldogs as Melina announced the Bolsheviks will be the 3rd tag team on the Midnight Express team at Survivor Series! This attack continued until Stars & Stripes ran out to even the odds and help chase off the Midnight Express, Long Riders, and Bolsheviks. The Briscos and British Bulldogs then indicated that Stars & Stripes will be the 3rd tag team on their team at Survivor Series!
Backstage: Alexis Smirnoff says he will be in the Survivor Series Preshow battle royal.
Match #3: VWF Champion Barry Windham, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and Exotic Adrian Street (all accompanied by United States Champion Johnny Saint and Greg Valentine) defeated Baron Von Raschke, Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George, and Brutus Beefcake (all accompanied by Don Muraco, Mr.Fuji, and Diamond Dallas Page)
- Street turned out to be the mystery tag team partner for Windham and Savage both for tonight and thus also for Survivor Series against the team led by Muraco.
- Beefcake turned out to be the mystery tag team partner for Von Raschke and George tonight and thus also for Muraco's team at Survivor Series.
- This match ended when Windham pinned Von Raschke via a SWEETWATER SUPERPLEX.

Match #1: Vampiro (managed by Al Snow) defeated Ox Baker
- As this grudge match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko said they have been informed that Baker, Vampiro, and Snow will be in the Preshow inter-brand battle royal at Survivor Series.
- Vampiro won via NAIL IN THE COFFIN.
Backstage: Eddie Gilbert enters himself into the Preshow inter-brand battle royal at Survivor Series.
Match #2: Sandman and Dan Severn defeated Adrian Adonis (managed by Jimmy Hart) and Jerry Lynn
- This match pitted two members of Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig's Survivor Series team in Sandman and Severn against two members of EAWA Champion Big Van Vader and Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas's Survivor Series team in Adonis and Lynn.
- This match ended when Sandman pinned Adonis via a DDT on top of a steel chair.
Backstage: EAWA General Manager Angelo Poffo registers Warlord for the Preshow inter-brand battle royal at Survivor Series. Poffo then says, since RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard last night on RAW entered himself into this battle royal, he is also going to enter himself (Poffo) into the battle royal.
Match #3: EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo, The Heroes of Hardcore, and the Midnight Bees defeated the Vachons (managed by The Sicilian,) the Valiants, and the Texas Hangmen
- This match involved all 6 tag teams with each tag team teaming with their entire Survivor Series tag team members involved in the EAWA tag team match at Survivor Series.
- During this match, tempers flared again between The Heroes of Hardcore when Hardcore Hodge accidentally bumped into an angry Hardcore Hutton.
- This match ended when The Crusher submitted Butcher Vachon via his CRUSHER NELSON.
- Afterward, Striker and Zbyszko pointed out that one fall in this rematch on Thursday on Thanksgiving will not determine the winner as it, like all matches at Survivor Series, will be an elimination match.

It brings back nostalgia for me.
