Backstage: EAWA General Manager Angelo Poffo tells the Vachons, Valiants, Pitbulls, Texas Hangmen, Midnight Bees, BWO, and Body Donnas that next week on EAWA they will have a big elimination tag match with the winner being the EAWA representative in the inter-brand 3-way tag Preshow match at the Royal Rumble.

Match #2: EAWA Tag Team Champion The Crusher (accompanied by EAWA Tag Team Champion Jackie Fargo) defeated Adrian Adonis (accompanied by Dirty Dick Hutton and manager Jimmy Hart)

- Less than 2 weeks before The Crusher and Fargo defend the EAWA Tag Team Championship against Adonis and Hutton at the Royal Rumble and just 1 week after Hutton defeated Fargo in a singles match, The Crusher defeated Adonis in a singles match. The end came when Hart accidentally smashed his megaphone against Adonis while aiming for The Crusher who then hit Adonis with an elbow drop for the victory.

- Afterward, The Crusher challenged Hutton to a match next week!

Backstage: Nacho Barrera is asked about Francine telling Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas that he (Barrera) might be the father of Francine's unborn baby.

- Nacho Barrera: "I am going to take a test to see if I am the father and then I will either be Nacho Daddy or not
your daddy."

Match #3: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams defeated Warlord

- In a matchup between two Royal Rumble participants, Williams won this match quickly and easily via BACKDROP DRIVER.

- As Williams gets his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko comment that Williams picked up some big momentum tonight and wonder aloud how far he will go in the Royal Rumble next weekend.

- The last two in this match were Duggan and his tag team partner Roop. After Duggan eliminated White, Roop (whom Magnum TA has warned Duggan about trusting) tried to eliminate Duggan from behind! Duggan however was able to stay in the ring and instead eliminate Roop to win.

- As a result, Duggan wins the Smackdown Wild Card spot in the Royal Rumble and there are only two Royal Rumble spots left and Striker says those spots will be filled by two wrestlers who will not be announced until it is time for their entry number in the Royal Rumble.

- Afterward, Roop entered the ring and told Duggan his attempt to eliminate him was nothing personal. Roop offered Duggan his hand and Duggan, after a brief pause, accepted it.

Backstage: In the locker room after being eliminated in the battle royal, Christopher tells his partner the Boogie Woogie Man he is disappointed he (Boogie Woogie Man) could not defeat Magnum TA last week when he had a chance to gain a Royal Rumble spot. Boogie Woogie Man tells Christopher he is disappointed in his (Christopher's) actions last week in which he used a steel chair against Tiger Conway Sr.

Match #2: B.G. James (accompanied by Kip James) defeated World Tag Team Champion Ricky Morton (accompanied by World Tag Team Champion Robert Gibson)

- Just 10 days before the Rock N' Roll Express defend the World Tag Team Championship against the James Gang at the Royal Rumble, Morton appeared to have this match won via a dropkick but, thanks to a distraction from Kip James, B.G. James instead got the victory via his PUMP HANDLE SLAM.

Backstage: Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long tells Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen that next week on Smackdown they will have a tag team match against their enemies The Butcher and the Bear.

Match #3: George Hackenschmidt (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated Jim Londos

- In this matchup between two Royal Rumble competitors, Londos was in command early but Hackenschmidt got the victory via his RUSSIAN BEAR HUG.

- As Hackenschmidt gets his Hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud just how far Hackenschmidt will go in the Royal Rumble in 10 days from now.

Match #1: Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George defeated Exotic Adrian Street in a non-title match

- Just 6 days before he defends the Cruiserweight Championship against RAW's Street, EAWA's Hardcore Hodge, and a Smackdown cruiserweight to be announced, George defeated his former Gorgeously Exotic tag team partner and current enemy Street tonight when he got away with squirting Street in the eyes with perfume and then making Street tap out to his SPINNING TOEHOLD.

Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard is with Diamond Dallas Page. Blanchard tells DDP- who won last year's Royal Rumble- that while he won't be in this year's Royal Rumble he will be a participant in next week's Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches for next month's Elimination Chamber: RAW.

Match #2: Jack Brisco (accompanied by Jerry Brisco) defeated United States Champion Johnny Saint in a non-title match

- In this matchup between two of this year's Royal Rumble participants, Jack Brisco won via his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.

Backstage: Accompanied by Mr. Fuji, Don Muraco is seen watching the last match on a monitor and doubling over with laughter. Muraco comments that Saint can not even defeat a tag guy like Jack Brisco and Saint will thus be an easy victory for him (Muraco) after he wins the 3-way inter-brand singles match on the Royal Rumble Preshow to earn an upcoming secondary title shot.

Match #3: VWF Tag Team Champion Nick Bockwinkel (accompanied by VWF Tag Team Champion Ray Stevens, manager Bobby Heenan, and Bob Orton Jr.) defeated Road Warrior Hawk (accompanied by Road Warrior Animal)

- Just 6 days until Bockwinkel and Stevens defend the VWF Tag Team Championship against the Road Warriors at the Royal Rumble, Hawk inflicted lots of damage upon Bockwinkel but Bockwinkel claimed the victory via a low blow followed by his finishing FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.

Match #4: VWF Champion Barry Windham and "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Blackjack Mulligan and King Kong Bundy (both accompanied by manager Heenan and Orton Jr.)

- Windham and Savage- who is challenging Windham for the VWF Championship at the Royal Rumble- defeated Mulligan and Bundy when Savage pinned Bundy after his FLYING ELBOW SMASH.

- Afterward, Mulligan- who last week on RAW told Windham he is his father- told Windham he needs to betray the Macho Man and join the Heenan Family where they can dominate the RAW brand together as father and son. Windham however said he would never join the Heenan Family.
