Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Royal Rumble January 31, Year 3 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of show)
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: EAWA's Hardcore Hodge defeated RAW's Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George, RAW's Exotic Adrian Street, and Smackdown's Tiger Conway St. (accompanied by Tiger Conway Jr.) in a Vega Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match
- This 4-Way inter-brand match saw George defend the Cruiserweight Championship against a cruiserweight from each of VWF's 3 brands.
- George eliminated his enemy Street via a deathjump while placing his feet on the ropes for extra leverage as the referee made the 3 count..
- George eliminated Conway Sr. by hitting him with a blast of perfume to the eyes followed a by a deathjump.
- Hodge eliminated George via an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL after George got distracted by Street reappearing at ringside.
- As a result, Hardcore Hodge is the new Cruiserweight Champion! Hodge wins the Cruiserweight Championship for his second time and thus ties George and Pepper Gomez for the 2nd most Cruiserweight Championships and thus also ends the impressive 10 month reign of George.
Match #2: World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express defeated James Gang
- First Fall: The James Gang came out strong and almost won this match early. But the Rock N' Roll Express regrouped to get the win when Robert Gibson pinned Kip James following DOUBLE DROPKICK. Rock N' Roll Express up 1-0.
- Second Fall: The Rock N' Roll Express won this fall when Ricky Morton pinned B.G. James after DOUBLE DROPKICK. Rock N' Roll Express win 2-0.
- As a result, the Rock N' Roll Express retain the World Tag Team Championship and their impressive reign has now reached 11 months.
Match #3: Vixens Champion Fabulous Moolah (accompanied by Beverly Shade and Toni Rose) defeated Trish Stratus
- A good match. Stratus almost won her 3rd Vixens Championship but Fabulous Moolah won via JACKKNIFE PIN to retain the Vixens Championship.
Match #4: Ladies Champion Sherri Martel defeated Mildred Burke
- Martel won via a TOP ROPE SPLASH to retain the Ladies Championship. Martel's reign has now lasted 10 months.

- As a result, The Crusher and Jackie Fargo retain the EAWA Tag Team Championship.
End of First Third. Second Third is next.

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Royal Rumble January 31, Year 3 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Third of show, First Third is posted above)
In the Ring: Gordon Solie.
- Solie says the VWF has just come to terms with an international superstar who will be making special appearances for now in the VWF and his debut VWF match will be at Vegasmania 3!
- Solie then says this new international superstar is here today and he will now introduce him: Great Gama!
- Great Gama comes out to the ring and says he is honored to be in the VWF and looks forward to his upcoming match at Vegasmania 3 when he is suddenly interrupted by Diamond Dallas Page who won last year's Royal Rumble but who failed in his attempts to qualify for this year's Royal Rumble.
- DDP says he is looking to make a name for himself at the Royal Rumble for the second straight year and thus challenges Great Gama to make his VWF debut match tonight against him (DDP!) Great Gama accepts DDP's challenge and says he has his gear under his suit and is ready for this match right now!
Match #6: Great Gama defeated Diamond Dallas Page in an impromptu match
- Great Gama won after 3 GAMA THROWS to win his VWF debut match.
Match #7: Road Warriors defeated VWF Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens (managed by Bobby Heenan and also accompanied by Bob Orton Jr.)
- First Fall: Lots of back and forth action and submission and/or pin attempts on both sides, Bockwinkel and Stevens won when Stevens hit BOMBS AWAY on Road Warrior Animal thanks to a distraction from Heenan. Bockwinkel/Stevens up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Another very good and highly competitive fall. The Road Warriors won this fall when Road Warrior Hawk pinned Stevens following the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. Road Warriors and Bockwinkel/Stevens are tied 1-1.
- Third/Final Fall: Bockwinkel and Stevens both refused to go down easy but the Road Warriors win this fall when Road Warrior Animal pinned Stevens following the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. Road Warriors win 2-1.
- As a result, the Road Warriors regain the VWF Tag Team Championship after losing it 4 months ago to Bockwinkel and Stevens. This is the 3rd VWF Tag Team Championship for the Road Warriors.
- Afterward, the Road Warriors got jumped by the Midnight Express as Melina said this is a reminder that the Midnight Express have earned a title shot as a result of their Preshow victory earlier tonight.
Match #8: World Champion Harley Race defeated Gorilla Monsoon (accompanied by Killer Kowalski and the Butcher and the Bear)
- This was a really good World Championship match in which Monsoon almost became World Champion. At one point, The Butcher and the Bear (Abdullah the Butcher and Ivan Koloff) attempted to interfere on Monsoon's behalf but this led to their enemies Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen arriving and chasing them away from the ringside area.
- Race won via his PILEDRIVER to retain the World Championship.
Match #9: Ted DiBiase defeated EAWA Champion Big Van Vader (accompanied by "Precious" Paul Ellering)
- Now a fan favorite and sporting his new black glove look, DiBiase battled Vader in an instant classic EAWA Championship match that saw a combined total of almost equally distributed 12 pin/submission attempts before DiBiase finally put Vader away via a middle rope elbow.
- As a result, DiBiase is the new EAWA Champion and thus ends Vader's impressive 9-month reign in which he decimated the EAWA roster.
- This is DiBiase's record 4th EAWA Championship (Giant Baba is second with 2 EAWA Championship reigns.)
Match #10: VWF Champion Barry Windham defeated "Macho Man" Randy Savage
- This was another instant-classic match that, just like the previous EAWA Championship match between DiBiase and Vader, saw a combined total of almost equally distributed 12 pin/submission attempts before Windham won via his SWEETWATER SUPLEX to retain the VWF Championship.
- Afterward, Windham stood over Sacage as Blackjack Mulligan arrived at ringside and threw in a steel chair toward Windham and yelled at Windham to finish Savage off. Windham however infuriated Mulligan by offering Savage his hand and lifting him up.
End of Second Third. Final Third- the annual Royal Rumble match- is next.

So much happening during this awesome event... And we haven't even got to the actual Rumble yet... Oh, snap!
Loved the debut of Gama... And even though I usually can't wait to see someone FEEL the BANG, this is one instance where I'm happy that DDP was on the losing end... Cannot wait to see who goes one-on-one with the Great One at VegasMania 3!

order of elimination 1. Warlord 2. Bruiser Brody 3. Austin Idol 4. Shane Douglas 5. Sandman 6. Jack Brisco 7. Dynamite Kid 8. Jimmy Snuka 9. Buddy Rogers 10. Jim Londos 11. George Hackenschmidt 12. Lou Thesz 13. Jerry Brisco 14. Hacksaw Jim Duggan 15. Johnny Saint 16. Tully Blanchard 17. Bobo Brazil 18. King Kong Bundy 19. Blackjack Mulligan 20. Davey Boy Smith 21. Hillbilly Jim 22. Magnum TA 23. Johnny Valentine 24. Frank Gotch 25. Curt Hennig 26. Stan Hansen 27. Kurt Angle 28. Rob Van Dam 29. Bob Backlund Winner: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams
notes:
- The two mystery entrants turned out to be Austin Idol and Frank Gotch. Both were making their VWF debuts although Gotch was a 3 time MLW Champion and a 2 time United States Champion during his days back in VWF's predecessor Major League Wrestling. Idol was wearing a RAW shirt and Gotch was wearing a Smackdown shirt to indicate to what brands they have been assigned.
- Lou Thesz and Kurt Angle tied for the most eliminations with 4 each. One of Thesz's eliminations was Bruiser Brody after a heated exchange between Thesz and Brody.
- Upon entering the match, Gotch went right at Tully Blanchard, a former World Champion, and eliminated him. Blanchard, who had just eliminated both Thesz and Johnny Saint, was furious and vowed revenge against Gotch.
- Gotch was later eliminated due to the outside interference of already-eliminated Four Horsemen members Blanchard, Buddy Rogers, George Hackenschmidt, and Johnny Valentine. Striker and Zbysko commented that since Gotch has been assigned to Smackdown the issues that erupted tonight between him and the Four Horsemen are likely not over yet.
- The final four- RVD, Kurt Angle, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, and Bob Backlund- were all from the EAWA brand despite that brand having the fewest number of representatives in the Royal Rumble. Williams eliminated Angle, Backlund eliminated RVD, and Williams eliminated Backlund to win the match.
- As a result, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams has won the Royal Rumble and has earned a title shot of his choosing at Vegasmania 3!
- Afterward, Willaims announced he has already decided what title he will challenge for and that will be on his own EAWA brand where earlier tonight his former tag team partner from outside VWF- Ted DiBiase- won the EAWA Championship. Thus the first match for Vegasmania 3 has been booked: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs EAWA Champion Ted DiBiase!
In the Ring: After Williams had left the ring, Striker and Zbyszko at the commentary table were wrapping up the show and thanking everyone for watching tonight when suddenly the lights went out. The sound of bagpipes started playing and when the lights went back on Rowdy Roddy Piper was in the ring!
- Piper: "So this is the VWF?" βJust when you think you know the answers, I change the questions.β
End of Final Third. End of Show.

Royal Rumble Postshow Press Conference with Rowdy Roddy Piper:
- "Reporter: "Roddy, we know that the other wrestlers who made their debut tonight Austin Idol and Frank Gotch have been assigned to RAW and Smackdown respectively. Do you know whether you will be going to RAW, EAWA, or Smackdown?"
- Piper: "What publication do you represent?"
- Reporter: "I work for The Observer."
- Piper: "You work for The Observer? Why don't you observe this?"
- Piper then turns around, lifts up his kilt, and moons the reporter from The Observer before leaving the press conference.
