- Blanchard confirms the rumors that the elimination chamber match at Elimination Chamber: RAW will be for Barry Windham's VWF Championship and 4 of Windham's 5 challengers will be determined in the announced qualifying matches tonight on RAW.

- Blanchard says it is now time to recognize the new VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors.

- The Road Warriors, who regained the VWF Tag Team Championship from Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens yesterday at the Royal Rumble, appear. The Road Warriors are now 3-time VWF Tag Team Champions and say they will be ready to defend against the British Bulldogs at Elimination Chamber: RAW but first they have business with the Midnight Express who jumped them in the ring after their championship-clinching match against Bockwinkel and Stevens.

- Led by Melina and also accompanied by Mr. Hughes, The Midnight Express appear and say they will actually be the ones defending the VWF Tag Team Championship against the British Bulldogs at Elimination Chamber: RAW as they earned a title shot by winning their 3-way inter-brand tag match at the Royal Rumble and they have been informed their VWF Tag Team Championship match is next week on RAW!

Match #1: "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Diamond Dallas Page in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match

- This grudge match between former VWF Tag Team Champion tag team partners turned enemies was won by Savage after two consecutive FLYING ELBOW SMASHES.

- As a result, Savage has clinched a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: RAW.

Backstage: Blanchard is asked if Rowdy Roddy Piper- who made his VWF debut last night at the end of the Royal Rumble- will be assigned to the RAW brand. Blanchard says he has no information about that possibility at this time.

Match #2: Jimmy Snuka defeated Gorgeous George in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match

- This match between longtime rivals Snuka and George ended when Snuka pinned George via his SUPERFLY LEAP.

- As a result, Snuka has earned a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: RAW.

Backstage: Along with his manager Mr. Fuji, Don Muraco is seen watching the end of the last match won by Snuka. Muraco waves off the result and says unlike Snuka he does need to take on 5 other wrestlers to become a champion at Elimination Chamber: RAW because he has been informed that the secondary title shot he won yesterday at the Royal Rumble will take place at Elimination Chamber: RAW when he takes on United States Champion Johnny Saint!

Match #3: Blackjack Mulligan (accompanied by Bobby Heenan and Bob Orton Jr.) defeated Lou Thesz in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match.

- Before this match started, Thesz- who along with Kurt Angle had the most eliminations in yesterday's Royal Rumble at 4- said he respects Bruiser Brody (who Thesz eliminated in yesterday's Royal Rumble) and wants to thank him for their competitive tussle yesterday and says he hopes that perhaps someday they can meet in the ring 1 on 1 for a real match.

- Mulligan's strategy for this match was to repeatedly throw Thesz out of the ring to get double-teamed by Heenan and Orton Jr. who then threw Thesz back into the ring toward Mulligan. This unfair strategy seemed to work as Mulligan got the victory via his BLACKJACK CLAW.

- As a result, Mulligan has earned a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: RAW.

- Afterward, Mulligan says his son Windham keeps making mistakes in not acknowledging him (Mulligan) as his (Windham's) father and in not turning his back on Savage to join the Heenan Family but he will personally teach Windham some lessons inside the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: RAW!

Backstage: Austin Idol- who made his surprise VWF debut yesterday in the Royal Rumble- says he makes his RAW debut next week on RAW!

Match #4: Nick Bockwinkel (accompanied by Bobby Heenan and Bob Orton Jr.) defeated Bobo Brazil in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match.

- Bockwinkel won this match via his BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER.

- As a result, Bockwinkel has earned a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: RAW which means 2 of the 6 competitors in that elimination chamber matches will be Heenan Family members.

Looks like some tough opposition is being lined up for Windham at Elimination Chamber... Wonder what the champ thinks of his father (who has developed quite a chip on his shoulder) joining the field... I'm also very curious to find out who will earn the final spot in the match.

The Bulldogs will have their work cut out for them, regardless who are wearing the tag belts - Roadies or Midnights... But, I have absolute faith in Davey Boy & Dynamite Kid... It's a spectacular time to be a fan of the VWF!

I absolutely loved the Royal Rumble, especially with the surprise appearances. Roddy Piper's arrival in the VWF was great. Congrats to Steve Williams on his big Royal Rumble win and his title match with Ted Dibiase should be a great one.

The build to Elimination Chamber is already off to a great start with the surprise loss by Lou Thesz. Big win for Blackjack Mulligan there, albeit with the interference, and also the tension between him and his son Barry Windham is very intriguing. Excellent action as always my friend.

- Poffo says it is time to introduce new EAWA Champion Ted DiBiase.

- black-gloved DiBiase, who won his 4th EAWA Championship by ending the 9-month reign of Big Van Vader at the Royal Rumble appears- and says this time- unlike his previous 3 EAWA Championship reigns- he will a champion everyone can be proud of.

- DiBiase also says he congratulates his former tag team partner Steve "Dr. Death" Williams on winning the Royal Rumble and looks forward to their upcoming EAWA Championship match at Vegasmania 3.

- The Valiants appear and say they want DiBiase to reform his Cabinet with them but DiBiase says those days are over. The Valiants respond by attacking DiBiase and Williams arrives to make the save for DiBiase!

Match #1: Eddie Gilbert (accompanied by Tommy Gilbert and Doug Gilbert) defeated Sandman in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match

- Gilbert won a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: EAWA by defeating Sandman- a former EAWA Champion- via a piledriver.

Backstage: Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas is angry at being told, since DiBiase next EAWA Championship defense won't be until his match against Williams at Vegasmania 3, that he will be defending the Brass Knuckles Championship at Elimination Chamber: EAWA against Gilbert and four participants TBD.

In the Ring: Hardcore Hodge is introduced as the new Cruiserweight Champion.

- Hodge, who won the Cruiserweight Championship at the Royal Rumble to end the 10-month reign of Gorgeous George, is informed that his first title defense will be this month at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

Match #2: Dan Severn defeated Ox Baker in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match

- Severn won via a shoulder slam to win a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: EAWA.

Backstage: Poffo tells EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo that at Elimination Chamber: EAWA they will be defending the EAWA Tag Team Championship against 5 other tag teams in the first-ever tag team elimination chamber match!

Match #3: Curt Hennig defeated Warlord

- Hennig won via his HENNIG PLEX to win a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: EAWA.

- Backstage: Kurt Angle approaches Big Van Vader. Angle says he knows neither one of them are in these elimination chamber qualifying matches tonight since, instead of the Brass Knuckles Championship, they both are currently focused on the EAWA Championship which won't be defended again until Vegasmania 3. Angle however says he still wants competition and challenges Vader to a match at Elimination Chamber: EAWA!

- Backstage: Poffo is asked if EAWA will be the brand that Rowdy Roddy Piper- who debuted at the Royal Rumble- is assigned to. Poffo says he does not think so.

Match #4: Rob Van Dam defeated Iron Sheik (managed by Shawn Daivari) in an elimination chamber qualifying match

- RVD won via his FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH to win a spot in the elimination chamber.

- Afterward, Iron Sheik complained saying he had his foot under the ropes when the 3 count was made, but his complaints went to no avail.

- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko. For tonight's show, Striker and Zbyszko are joined by World Champion Harley Race as he comments on and watches qualifying matches to determine 4 of his 5 challengers inside the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

Match #1: Tully Blanchard (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated Magnum TA in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match.

- Blanchard won via SLINGSHOT SUPLEX to earn a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

- Afterward, Race ignored Blanchard's taunts that he would win the elimination chamber match at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown to regain the World Championship.

Backstage: Intercontinental Champion Buddy Rogers complains to Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long about not being in one of tonight's elimination chamber qualifying matches. Long says that is because, at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown, Rogers will instead be defending the Intercontinental Championship. Long however tells Rogers that if he successfully defends the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown that he will have fulfilled the 6-month reign requirement to cash in the Intercontinental Championship for a World Championship match at Vegasmania 3!

Match #2: Stan Hansen defeated Gorilla Monsoon (accompanied by Killer Kowalski) in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match.

- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko comment that- based on the recent issues between the two sides- while Kowalski has a manager's license, Bruiser Brody and the Butcher and the Bear were all banned from ringside.

- Hansen won via his LARIAT. As a result, Hansen has earned a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

Backstage: Ladies Champion Sherri Martel is upset upon being told by Long that she will be defending her Ladies Championship at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown in the first-ever womens elimination chamber match! Long says Martel's challengers will be Mildred Burke (who Martel retained against last weekend at the Royal Rumble,) Ida Mae Martinez (a former Ladies Champion,) Rockin Robin (who won last year's womens Royal Rumble match,) Leilani Kai, and the other challenger will be determined through a qualifying match next week on Smackdown!

Match #3: Bruiser Brody defeated Ivan Koloff (accompanied by Killer Kowalski) in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match

- Just as in the previous match, Hansen was banned from Brody's corner and Abdullah the Butcher was banned from his tag team partner Koloff's corner.

- Brody won via his JUMPING KNEE DROP to earn a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

- Afterward, Abdullah the Butcher ran out and attacked Brody with a fork until Hansen ran out to make the save for Brody.

Backstage: Teddy Long tells Jim Londos he will have a chance next week on Smackdown to compete for the final spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

Match #4: Johnny Valentine (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated Frank Gotch in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match

- A good match. Valentine got the impressive victory over Gotch (a 3-time MLW Champion and 2-time United States Champion who made his VWF debut last weekend at the Royal Rumble) via ATOMIC SKULL CRUSHER to earn a spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown. As a result, the Four Horsemen will have two (Blanchard and Valentine) of the 6 competitors in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown.

In the Ring: After the main event, suddenly the lights go dark and bagpipes start playing! When the lights return, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is in the ring wearing a blue Smackdown shirt!

- Piper (who made his first VWF appearance at the end of last weekend's Royal Rumble PPV) says he will be starting on the Smackdown brand and his first VWF match will be at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown!
