Match #1: Austin Idol defeated Greg Valentine in a VWF Money in the Bank Qualifying match
- Valentine, who last year won a RAW Money in the Bank match but recently failed in his attempted cash in at Elimination Chamber: RAW, was seeking his recent second MITB briefcase but got tapped out by Idol's LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK.
- As a result, Idol wins the 3rd and final RAW spot in the VWF Money in the Bank ladder match at Vegasmania 3.
Year 3 VWF Draft
- starts immediately after Vegasmania 3!
- takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash!
- in addition to the many wrestlers switching brands through the draft, there will be some new signings and some temporary departures!
Match #2: Brutus Beefcake defeated Bobo Brazil
- Before this match started, Brazil announced he will be one of the RAW representatives in the inter-brand matches at Vegasmania 3!
- Beefcake upset Brazil by getting away with throwing some chemicals in his face and then knocking him out with his SLEEPER.
- Afterward, Beefcake indicated he would cut Brazil's hair but got chased from the ring by his enemy Valentine!
In the Ring: Bobby Eaton and Mr. Hughes.
- Lane says he and Hughes left Melina's version of the Midnight Express to help reform an older version of the Midnight Express. Eaton gestures and out walks Dennis Condrey! Eaton gestures again and out walks Jim Cornette who is apparently healed from the neck injury he suffered last year at the hands of the Road Warriors!
- Eaton challenges Stan Lane and Melina to find a new tag team partner for Lane to take on him and Condrey at Vegasmania 3!
Match #3: "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Baron Von Raschke by countout
- Before this match started, Savage announced he will be one of the RAW representatives in the inter-brand matches at Vegasmania 3!
- This match ended quickly when Von Raschke was unable to reenter the ring before the referee completed his ten count.
Backstage: Accompanied by Mr. Fuji, United States Champion Don Muraco brags about his successful title defense last week against Ray Stevens until he is told by RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard that he will next be defending the United States Championship against his old enemy Jimmy Snuka at Vegasmania 3!
Match #4: Scott Taylor defeated RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard, Gorgoeus George, Exotic Adrian Street, Jerry Brisco, and Sam Houston in a Cruiserweight Championship Qualifying elimination match
- Jerry Brisco eliminated Houston via OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL.
- Street tapped out Jerry Brisco via London Bridge Leglock.
- Taylor pinned Street via a two-handed bulldog as Street was distracted by his enemy George.
- Blanchard eliminated George via ABDOMINAL STRETCH.
- Taylor pinned Blanchard via THE WORM.
- As a result, Taylor will be the RAW representative in the Cruiserweight Championship 4-wy elimination match at Vegasmania 3!

So much great action posted recently Vegas, and Vegasmania 3 can't come soon enough. What a lineup! I'm interested to see how Roddy Piper will handle Gorilla Monsoon, not to mention all of the other amazing bouts. I'm also already looking forward to the draft. The VWF is firing on all cylinders as usual. |

Backstage: Ladies Champion Mildred Burke is informed by Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long that at Vegasmania 3 she will take on Vixens Champion Fabulous Moolah in a historic non-title match!
