- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Blackjack Mulligan (managed by Bobby Heenan and also accompanied by Bob Orton Jr.) defeated Hillbilly Jim
- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko on commentary commented that they have been informed that at Vegasmania 3 there will be an inter-brand 20 man battle royal with the winner earning a title shot on their brand the following week and that both Hillbilly Jim and Blackjack Mulligan will be in this battle royal.
- Hillbilly Jim put up a good fight but Mulligan won via his BLACKJACK CLAW.
Year 3 VWF Draft - starts immediately after Vegasmania 3! - takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash! - in addition to the many wrestlers switching brands through the draft, there will be some new signings and some temporary departures!
In the Ring: Gorgeous George hosting Curl Up and Dye.
- George complains about not having a match at Vegasmania 3 and then introduces his guest the newest VWF signing- George "The Animal" Steele!
- Steele arrives in the ring and tells Gorgeous George "Me Gorgeous George, not you!"
- George laughs in disgust and says Steele stinks and then sprays Steel with his perfume gun! Steele goes berserk by grabbing the perfume gun from George and then using it to smash up the set of Curl Up and Dye as George flees the ring.
- RAW General Manager Angelo Poffo arrives and tells George he now has a match at Vegasmania 3- against Steele and the winner will earn the right to be called Gorgeous George!
Match #2: Trish Stratus defeated Jazz
- Stratus won via STRATUSFACTION.
Backstage: Ray Stevens is informed he will be in the 20 man inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania 3.
Match #3: Bobby Eaton (accompanied by Jim Cornette, Dennis Condrey, and Mr. Hughes) defeated Stan Lane (accompanied by Melina)
- Less than 2 weeks before Lane and a yet to be named tag team partner take on the newly revamped Midnight Express duo of Eaton and Condrey at Vegasmania 3, Eaton won this match via his ALABAMA JAM.
- Afterward, Condrey and Mr. Hughes entered the ring and helped Eaton engage in a postmatch attack upon Lane until someone ran into the ring with a flaming barbed wire baseball bat to make the save! Lane identified his savior as Steve Keirn who will be teaming with him at Vegasmania 3 as the Fabulous Ones against Eaton and Condrey!
Backstage: Blanchard congratulates Stratus on her victory tonight and tells her the annual womens Royal Rumble match involving the women from RAW and Smackdown will take place at Vegasmania 3 with the winner being added to the match between Ladies Champion Mildred Burke and Vixens Champion Fabulous Moolah!
Match #4: Briscos defeated Road Warriors
- The stipulation for this match was that if the Briscos won they would be added to the match between the VWF Tag Team Champions British Bulldogs and the Road Warriors at Vegasmania 3.
- The Briscos survived two DOOMSDAY DEVICES to win when Jack Brisco pinned Road Warrior Hawk via his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.
- As a result, the Briscos are now added to the match between VWF Tag Team Champions British Bulldogs and the Road Warriors at Vegasmania 3!

Match #1: Vampiro defeated Ox Baker
- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko on commentary said both of these competitors have been added to the 20 man inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania 3.
- Vampiro won via NAIL IN THE COFFIN.
Backstage: Francine says it turns out she had a "false positive" and she is not actually pregnant so she will also be competing in the women's Royal Rumble match at Vegasmania 3.
Match #2: Big Van Vader (managed by "Precious" Paul Ellering) defeated the Bodydonnas in a handicap match
- Just over a week before Vader takes on Smackdown's Harley Race in an inter-brand match at Vegasmania 3, Vader won this handicap match by pinning Tom Prichard via RELEASED POWER BOMB.
Backstage: Bobo Brazil from RAW says he is here on EAWA tonight because he has been informed that his opponent in his inter-brand match at Vegasmania 3 will be from the EAWA brand when suddenly he gets hit with a FIREBALL by Eddie Gilbert! Gilbert then announces he is Brazil's opponent for Vegasmania 3!
Match #3: Adrian Adonis and "Dirty" Dick Hutton (managed by Jimmy Hart) defeated the Texas Hangmen in an EAWA Tag Team Championship Qualifying match
- Adonis and Hutton won when Adonis submitted Psycho via GOODNIGHT IRENE.
- As a result, Adonis and Hutton win the final spot in the EAWA Tag Team Championship 4-way tornado tag elimination match at Vegasmania 3.

- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko mentioned on commentary that all 4 of these competitors will be in the 20 man inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania 3.
- Finlay and Taylor won when Taylor pinned Tiger Conway Sr. via a bear hug to atomic drop.

- Boogie Woogie Man, who won the inter-brand battle royal last year at Vegasmania 2, survived multiple FLYING CLOTHESLINES from the Barbarian to win via his BOOGIE WOOGIE ELBOW.
- Afterward, Boogie Woogie Man got jumped by his former tag team partner and now current enemy Brian Christopher who announced he will also be in the battle royal at Vegasmania 3!
In the Ring: Killer Kowalski and Abdullah the Butcher. Kowalski says he was notified that somebody would accept Abdullah the Butcher's open challenge for a match at Vegasmania 3 but he does not see anybody here. Suddenly a howl is heard from up above and the spotlight shows Wolf in the rafters! Wolf, a former EAWA Champion back in the MLW days, says at Vegasmania 3 he will be giving Abdullah the Butcher a SAVAGE FACE CLAW!
{Promoter's Note: Since Wolf had a black and white LOW card in the original LOW boxed set, I used to use him a little in my LOW fed. Now in my color card fed I plan to use Wolf's 2087 color card but probably mostly just for special appearances like Vegasmania 3.}
Match #3: Sherri Martel defeated Candi Divine
- Divine had Martel in some early trouble but Martel won via her TOP ROPE SPLASH.
- Afterward, Martel said at Vegasmania 3 she will win the women's Royal Rumble to advance to the triple threat match involving Vixens Champion Fabulous Moolah and Ladies Champion Mildred Burke and then leave Vegasmania as a champion once again.
Backstage: Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long tells JJ Dillon that next week on Smackdown- the final Smackdown episode before Vegasmania 3- the Four Horsemen will take on their various Vegasmania 3 opponents- World Champion Bruiser Brody, Frank Gotch, and the World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express- in an 8 man tag match main event!
Match #4: Ivan Koloff (accompanied by Killer Kowalski) defeated Stan Hansen
- Before this match started, Hansen announced he will be the opponent for "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the RAW vs Smackdown inter-brand match at Vegasmania 3!
