Match #1: King Kong Bundy (managed by Bobby Heenan and also accompanied by Bob Orton Jr.) defeated Greg Valentine

- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko said on commentary that both Valentine and Bundy have been added to the 20 man inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania 3.

- Valentine had Bundy in trouble but Bundy won via his ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE.

- As Bundy gets his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud who will be able to throw Bundy over the top rope in the battle royal this weekend at Vegasmania 3.

Year 3 VWF Draft
- starts immediately after Vegasmania 3!
- takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash!
- in addition to the many wrestlers switching brands through the draft, there will be some new signings and some temporary departures!

- After the promo, Striker and Zbyszko point out that with Vegasmania 2 taking place this weekend the VWF Draft starts 1 week from tonight on RAW!

Match #2: Johnny Saint defeated Austin Idol and Val Venis

- This match involved the 3 RAW wrestlers participating in the VWF Money in the Bank ladder match at Vegasmania 3 this weekend.

- Saint won when he put Venis away via is THREE IN ONE.

Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard tells Diamond Dallas Page that he has entered him (DDP) along with Brutus Beefcake, and Baron Von Raschke as RAW participants in the 20 man inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania 3.

Match #3: Briscos defeated VWF Tag Team Champions British Bulldogs (managed by Captian Lou Albano) in a non-title match

- Less than 1 week before the British Bulldogs defend the VWF Tag Team Championship against both the Road Warriors and the Briscos in a 3-way tag elimination match at Vegasmania 3, the Briscos scored the victory here when Jack Brisco pinned Davey Boy Smith via a dropkick.

- Less than 1 week before Windham defends the VWF Championship against Bockwinkel and Snuka challenges Muraco for the United States Championship at Vegasmania 3, Bockwinkel and Muraco won this match when Mr. Fuji got away with smashing Snuka in the back with his cane and Muraco then hit Snuka with the HAWAIIAN HAMMER for the pinfall victory.

Match #1: Sandman defeated Warlord

- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko on commentary said that both of these competitors have been added to the 20 man inter-brand battle royal this weekend at Vegasmania 3 which leaves just 1 open spot on the 20 man battle royal.

- Sandman won via his SINGAPORE CANE.

Year 3 VWF Draft

- takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash!
- in addition to the many wrestlers switching brands through the draft, there will be some new signings and some temporary departures!

- After the promo, Striker and Zbyszko pointed out that with Vegasmania 3 happening this weekend the VWF Draft thus starts next week and on next week's episode of EAWA somebody will be coming ver from either RAW or Smackdown!

Match #2: Vachons (managed by The Sicilian) defeated the Valiants

- For this match involving two of the three tag teams challenging this weekend for the EAWA Tag Team Championship in a 4-way tag tornado elimination match, EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo provided guest color commentary for this match while drinking some beers.

- For ahwile the Valiants were winning but the Vachons won when, thanks to interference from The Sicilian, Mad Dog Vachon pinned Jimmy Valiant via PILEDRIVER.

Backstage: Accompanied by Big Van Vader, "Precious" Paul Ellering says that, now that he has already held the EAWA Championship, Vader is hoping to go to another brand in the VWF Draft that starts next week and that Vader's upcoming victory over recent World Champion Harley Race at Vegasmania 3 will put the champions of RAW and Smackdown on notice!

Match #3: Curt Hennig defeated Rob Van Dam and Iron Sheik (managed by Shawn Daivari)

- This match involved the 3 EAWA wrestlers participating in the VWF Money in the Bank ladder match at Vegasmania 3 this weekend.

- Hennig won via his HENNIG PLEX on the Iron Sheik.

- This main event 6 man tag pitted Williams, Backlund, and Severn against their respective Vegasmania 3 opponents DiBiase, Angle, and Douglas.

- Despite clear chemistry issues between DiBiase and his partners Angle and Douglas, this match ended when Angle submitted Severn to his ANKLE LOCK.

Match #1: Fantastic defeated Sheepherders

- This match featured two of the three tag teams challenging the Armstrongs for the United States Tag Team Champions in a 4-way tag elimination match tomorrow in Atlantic City at Vegasmania 3.

- The Fantastics, who recently held the United States Tag Team Championship for an impressive 8-month reign before unsuccessfully cashing in their belts for a World Tag Team Championship match at Elimination Chamber: Smackdown, won this match when Tommy Rogers pinned Luke Williams via a rollup while rebounding off the ropes.

- As they get their hands raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud if the Fantastics tomorrow will regain the United States Tag Team Championship.

Year 3 VWF Draft
- starts immediately after Vegasmania 3!
- takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash!

- Striker and Zbyszko thus point out that by this time next week on Smackdown we will know of the first few roster changes for Smackdown both in terms of who is leaving the brand and who is coming to the brand!

Match #2: Ivan Koloff (managed by Killer Kowalski) defeated Jim Londos and Magnum TA

- This match involved the 3 Smackdown wrestlers participating in the VWF Money in the Bank ladder match at Vegasmania 3 this weekend.

- Koloff won via his Russian Hammer on Magnum TA.

Backstage: Disco Inferno approaches Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long and asks him if he can be the 20th competitor in the 20 man inter-brand battle royal this weekend at Vegasmania 3. Long says no because he has been informed that the 20th competitor will be somebody making their VWF debut and not unannounced until their ring entrance for the battle royal! An angry Disco Inferno vows to still make a presence at Vegasmania 3!

Match #3: Stan Hansen defeated Abdullah the Butcher (managed by Killer Kowalski) by DQ

- This grudge match spilled out of the ring where Kowalski smashed a steel chair into the back of Hansen's head leading the referee to disqualify Abdullah the Butcher.

- Afterward, an angry Hansen said this is not over between him and Abdullah the butcher and challenged him to a rematch next week on Smackdown!

- This final match before Vegasmania 3 starts pitted the Four Horsemen against their various Vegasmania 3 opponents.

- This match ended when Brody pinned his Vegasmania 3 opponent/challenger Rogers via his JUMPING KNEE DROP.

Match #1: Fantastics defeated United States Tag Team Champions Armstrongs, James Gang, and Sheepherders in a 4-way tag elimination match

- Bob Armstrong pinned BG James via GEORGIA JAWJACKER to eliminate the James Gang.

- Brad Armstrong pinned Butch Miller via RUSSIAN LEG SEEEP to eliminate the Sheepherders.

- The final fall between the defending champions the Armstrongs and the former champions the Fantastics was fantastic and won by the Fantastics when Tommy Rogers pinned Bob Armstrong after PRESS SLAM/SPLASH to eliminate the Armstrongs.

- As a result, the Fantastics have regained the United States Tag Team Championship to mark the start of Vegasmania 3.

Match #2: Bob Roop defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan

- Duggan started off strong but Roop won this grudge match via his SHOULDER BREAKER.

Match #3: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper defeated Gorilla Monsoon

- Piper won via his SLEEPER to stay undefeated in the VWF.

Match #4: United States Champion Don Muraco (managed by Mr. Fuji) defeated Jimmy Snuka

- This match ended when Mr. Fuji got away with throwing salt into the eyes of Snuka and Muraco then hit a blinded Snuka with his HAWAIIAN HAMMER.

- As a result, Muraco retains the United States Championship.

Match #5: Great Gama defeated Lou Thesz in a Special Attraction match

- Making a special appearance in the VWF for Vegasmania 3, Great Gama looked impressive and defeated Thesz in a surprisingly mostly one-sided match via his GAMA THROW.
