Match #1: 20 man inter-brand battle royal

- The mystery 20th participant in this battle royal turned out to be a debuting Masked Superstar.

- During this match, EAWA's Warlord and Smackdown's Barbarian worked together leading Striker and Zbyszko to comment that they would probably be a good tag team if on the same VWF brand.

Winner: Masked Superstar

- Masked Superstar in his VWF debut match thus wins the inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania and thus gets to challenge for the main championship on his brand next week. But, as Striker and Zbyszko point out, it is unknown which brand (RAW, Smackdown, or EAWA) that Masked Superstar is being assigned.

- starts immediately after Vegasmania 3!
- takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash!
- in addition to the many wrestlers switching brands through the draft, there will be some new signings and some temporary departures!

MLW Memorial Cup
The MLW Memorial Cup is returning on Memorial Day Weekend! 6 tag teams participating in a 4-day tournament along with non-tournament matches including some Special Appearances!

Match #2: Big Van Vader (managed by "Precious" Paul Ellering) defeated Harley Race

- In this inter-brand matchup, EAWA's Vader defeated Smackdown's Race via his RELEASED POWER BOMB.

- Afterward, Ellering bragged about Vader's victory over a recent World Champion in Race from Smackdown and says he wants either RAW or Smackdown to draft Vader who has already won the EAWA Championship so he can add the VWF Championship or the World Championship to his resume!

Match #3: World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express defeated Tully Blanchard and Johnny Valentine

- First Fall: Valentine pinned Robert Gibson via ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. Blanchard and Valentine are up 1-0.

- Second Fall: Gibson pinned Valentine following DOUBLE DROPKICK. Rock N' Roll Express and Blanchard/Valentine are tied 1-1.

- Third/Final Fall: Ricky Morton pinned Valentine via a top rope punch. Rock N' Roll Express win 2-1.

- As a result, Rock N' Roll Express retain the World Tag Team Championship which they have held for the past 13 months (since February Year 2.)

Match #4: Kurt Angle defeated VWF Chairman Bob Backlund

- Angle won via a backbreaker.

Match #5: Ladies Champion Mildred Burke defeated Vixens Champion Fabulous Moolah and Nora Greenwald

- Greenwald, who won yesterday's womens Royal Rumble to get added to this match, would become either the Ladies Champion if she won by putting away Burke or the Vixens Champion if she won by putting away Moolah.

- This match ended when Burke submitted Greenwald via her ALLIGATOR CLUTCH.

- As a result, Greenwald fails to win a championship while both Burke and Moolah retain their championships.

- Afterward, Burke told Moolah that, based on their history, they still need to have a 1 on 1 match against each other sometime soon!

Match #1: EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo defeated the Vachons (managed by The Sicilian,) the Valiants, and Adrian Adonis and "Dirty" Dick Hutton (both managed by Jimmy Hart) in a 4-way tornado tag elimination match

- The Crusher submitted "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant via CRUSHER NELSON.

- The Crusher submitted Butcher Vachon via CRUSHER NELSON.

- The Crusher submitted "Dirty" Dick Hutton via CRUSHER NELSON.

- As a result, The Crusher and Jackie Fargo retained the EAWA Tag Team Championship.

Match #2: "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Stan Hansen by DQ in an inter-brand match

- In this inter-brand match, RAW's Savage took on Smackdown's Hansen.

- Hansen got DQd when he used his bullrope when the action spilled out of the ring.

Match #3: George Hackenschmidt (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated Frank Gotch

- Hackenschmidt won via his RUSSIAN BACKBREAKER.

Match #4: Briscos defeated VWF Tag Team Champions British Bulldogs (managed by Captian Lou Albano) and Raod warriors in an elimination tag match

- This turned into one of the best matches of Vegasmania 3.

- Davey Boy Smith pinned Road Warrior Animal after TOWER OF LONDON.

- Jack Brisco submitted Davey Boy Smith via FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.

- As a result, the Briscos are the new VWF Tag Team Champions and this is their first championship in VWF.

Match #5: Intercontinental Chamnpion Buddy Rogers (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated World Champion Bruiser Brody.

- This match was for the World Championship as Rogers was cashing in the Intercontinental Championship after holding it for the prerequisite 6 months.

- Rogers won via his FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE.

- As a result, Rogers wins the World Championship. This is the 2nd time Rogers has held the World Championship and the 8th Major championship Rogers has won overall.

Crusher & Fargo are having a helluva reign... And as much as I was cheering for the Bulldogs, it's difficult to be disappointed with seeing the Briscos on top.

VM3 closes out with the Nature Boy beating Brody for the World title... A spectacular event!

In the Ring: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard.

- Blanchard said he is going to start tonight's show by introducing new VWF Champion Nick Bockwinkel who just won the title this past weekend from Barry Windham at Vegasmania 3!

- Accompanied by his manager Bobby Heenan and his tag team partner (with whom he recently held the VWF Tag Team Championship) Ray Stevens, Bockwinkel appears wearing the VWF Championship. Bockwinkel says he is about to begin a record-setting VWF Championship reign and is then informed by Blanchard that his first title defense will be at Vegasmania Backlash: RAW against the winner of tonight's main event between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bobo Brazil!

Match #1: Alexis Smirnoff (accompanied by the Bolsheviks) defeated Thunderbolt Patterson

- This match marked the VWF debut of Patterson as the VWF roster undergoes some changes during its current Draft period following Vegasmania 3.

- Thanks to a distraction from the Bolsheviks, Smirnoff won via his HEART PUNCH.

Year 3 VWF Draft
- currently happening now during the period between Vegasmania 3 and Vegasmania Backlash!
- takes place on every episode of RAW, EAWA, and Smackdown leading up to Vegasmania Backlash!
- in addition to the many wrestlers switching brands through the draft, there will be some new signings and some temporary departures!

- Following the above promo, Striker and Zbyszko remind everyone that RAW's first draft pick will be revealed on tonight's show!

Match #2: Jimmy Snuka defeated Mr. Fuji (accompanied by United States Champion Don Muraco)

- Despite some attempted interference from Muraco that led to Fuji getting in a surprising amount of offense, Snuka won this match via a knee drop.

- Snuka thus got revenge against Fuji for throwing salt into his eyes at Vegamania 3 which caused Snuka to lose to Muraco.

- As Snuka got his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud if this victory could lead to Snuka getting another title shot against his enemy Muraco.

Backstage: Lou Thesz says that at Vegasmania 3 the Great Gama was the better man that night in their match against each other but now he is going to work hard to get himself back into the VWF Championship picture.

Match #3: Fabulous Ones (managed by Melina) defeated Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey, managed by Jim Cornette and also accompanied by Mr. Hughes) in a tornado match

- Just days after their grudge tag match at Vegamsania 3 ended very quickly in a DQ, this tornado tag was a great match which ended with the Fabulous Ones victorious when Stan Lane pinned Condrey after a DOUBLE DDT.

- Afterward, at the direction of Cornette, Eaton, Condrey, and Mr. Hughes launched a postmatch attack on Lane and Steve Keirn as it looks like the issues between the Fabulous Ones and the Midnight Express are far from over.

Backstage: Nora Greenwald, who at Vegasmania 3 won the women's Royal Rumble match but then lost the following night in the triple threat against Vixens Champion Fabulous Moolah and Ladies Champion Mildred Burke, is told by Blanchard that since she lost to Burke but not to Moolah, she will be challenging Moolah for the Vixens Championship at Vegasmania Backlash: RAW!

Match #4: "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Bobo Brazil in a VWF Championship #1 Contenders match

- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko on commentary said that Savage and Brazil were awarded this #1 Contenders match as a result of being victorious on behalf of RAW in their inter-brand matches against Smackdown's Stan Hansen and EAWA's Eddie Gilbert respectively this past weekend at Vegasmania 3.

- Savage won via hs FLYING ELBOW SMASH.

- As a result, Savage gets to challenge Nick Bockwinkel for the VWF Championship at Vegasmania Backlash: RAW!

- Suddenly bagpipes start playing and- from Smackdown- out comes "Rowdy" Roddy Piper! Piper reveals he is RAW's draft pick for tonight! Savage welcomes Piper to RAW as tonight's show comes to an end.

Following the surprise VWF debut of the Masked Superstar as the 20th name in the inter-brand battle royal at Vegasmania 3, VWF Chairman Bob Backlund has announced that the Masked Superstar is being assigned to the EAWA brand and thus- as a result of his inter-brand battle royal victory at Vegamania 3- Masked Superstar will challenge his new brand's champion Ted DiBiase for the EAWA Championship this week on EAWA! During the MLW days, Masked Superstar was a member of DiBiase's Cabinet.
