Vegasmania Backlash has been great thus far, especially Piper over Angle. Huge win for the "Hot Rod"! I also enjoyed the Road Warriors over Mulligan & Bundy and Steel picking up that big win over Monsoon.

Match #8: British Bulldogs (managed by Captain Lou Albano) defeated VWF Tag Team Champions Briscos
- Before this match started, it was announced that both of these tag teams will be entrants in next month's MLW Memorial Cup.
- This VWF Tag Team Championship match was booked with the usual best 2 out of 3 falls stipulation after the Briscos won the VWF Tag Team Championship from the British Bulldogs at Vegasmania 3 in a 3-way tag elimination match that also involved the Road Warriors.
- This was a great match that turned into a likely MOTY candidate.
- First Fall: An awesome fall with a combined total of 12 unsuccessful pin/submission attempts until the Briscos managed to outlast the Bulldogs when Jack Brisco put away Dynamite Kid via FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Briscos are up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Another outstanding fall which this time involved a combined total of 11 unsuccessful but mostly close pinfall/submission attempts. The Bulldogs tied it up when Dynamite Kid pinned Jack Brisco via a snap suplex. British Bulldogs and Briscos are tied 1-1.
- Third/Final Fall: Yet another incredible fall which this time involved 13 unsuccessful but mostly close pinfall/submission attempts. As a result, there were a combined total of 36 close pinfall/submission attempts in this best 2 out of 3 falls tag match. The British Bulldogs scored the deciding fall when Davey Boy Smith pinned Jerry Brisco after the TOWER OF LONDON. British Bulldogs win 2-1.
- As a result, the British Bulldogs have regained the VWF Tag Team Championship and they are now 2-time VWF Tag Team Champions.
MLW Memorial Cup The MLW Memorial Cup is returning on Memorial Day Weekend! 64 tag teams participating in a 4-day tournament along with non-tournament matches including some Special Appearances! tag team participants" "Macho Man" Randy Savage/"Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Nick Bockwinkel/Ray Stevens, Road Warriors, Rock N' Roll Express, British Bulldogs, Briscos, and 58 tag teams TBA
Match #9: Lou Thesz defeated Bobo Brazil for the vacant Intercontinental Championship.
- This match was for the Intercontinental Championship which was vacated by Buddy Rogers for a World Championship match at Vegasmania 3 and then while vacant sent to RAW after Smackdown selected United States Champion Don Muraco in the Draft.
- Thesz and Brazil were placed in this matchup for the Intercontinental Championship after they both lost in the Semi-Finals of the VWF Championship Tournament.
- Thesz won via GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP.
- As a result, Thesz wins the Intercontinental Championship for the first time.
Match #10: "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Barry Windham in the VWF Championship Tournament Finals
- This match was the Finals of the VWF Championship Tournament for the VWF Championship which became vacant when Nick Bockwinkel was selected by EAWA in the Draft.
- Savage won via a neckbreaker clothesline.
- As a result, Savage wins the VWF Championship for the 2nd time!
- Afterward, Piper- who is teaming with Savage in the MLW Memorial Cup- arrived and helped Savage celebrate as tonight's show came to an end.

Preshow Match #1: Juventud Guerrera and the Midnight Bees defeated the BWO
- This 6 man tag match ended when "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty pinned Blue Meanie via a dropkick.
Preshow Match #2: Sheepherders defeated the Pittbulls
- This was a wild match with alot of brawling in which the action repeatedly went outside of the ring.
- In their first EAWA match since being selected from Smackdown in the Draft, the Sheepherders won this match when Butch Miller pinned Pitbull #2 following DOUBLE GUTBUSTER.

Colossal title victories for Macho Man and the Bulldogs... Brilliant way to close out Backlash: RAW!
A little disappointed that my Vampire brother was left off the card for Backlash: EAWA... Still looking forward to the show!

Match #1: Ox Baker defeated Hardcore Hodge, Jerry Lynn, and Warlord in a Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match
- Baker pinned Lynn via his HEART PUNCH.
- Baker pinned Warlord via his HEART PUNCH.
- Baker pinned Hodge via his HEART PUNCH.
- Baker, after eliminating all of the 3 other competitors vis his HEART PUNCH finisher, has thus earned a Brass Knuckles #1 Contenders match as the crowd serenaded the fan favorite Baker with chants of "Ox! Ox! Ox! Ox!"
Match #2: Iron Sheik (managed by Shawn Daivari) defeated Austin Idol
- This matched the in-ring EAWA debut for Idol who earlier this week was selected from RAW in the Draft.
- Idol started his time with EAWA with a loss as he was forced to submit to the CAMEL CLUTCH.
Match #3: Eddie Gilbert (accompanied by Tommy Gilbert and Doug Gilbert) defeated Cruiserweight Champion 2 Cold Scorpio
- A good match. Gilbert won via a foreign object to win the Cruiserweight Championship.
Match #4: Masked Superstar defeated Dan Severn
- Masked Superstar won via his COBRA HOLD.

- In their in-ring EAWA debut since being selected from RAW by EAWA in the Draft, the Fabulous Ones scored an impressive victory over the 4-time EAWA Tag Team Champions Vachons when Stan Lane pinned Mad Dog Vachon after DOUBLE DDT.
Match #6: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams defeated Ray Stevens (managed by Bobby Heenan)
- Williams won via a BACKDROP DRIVER.
Match #7: Stan Hansen defeated Abdullah the Butcher (managed by Killer Kowalski) in a dog collar match
- A violent grudge match won by Hansen via his LARIAT.
