Match #8: Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig defeated EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Jackie Fargo
- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko on commentary mentioned that both of these tag teams will be in next month's MLW Memorial Cup.
- First Fall: A great fall. Hennig pinned The Crusher via a standing dropkick. RVD and Hennig are up 1-0.
- Second Fall: The defending champions controlled most of this fall and won when The Crusher pinned RVD via his CRUSHER BOLO. The Crusher/Fargo and RVD/Hennig are tied 1-1.
- Third/Final Fall: An outstanding fall to determine who would leave with the EAWA Tag Team Championship. RVD pinned The Crusher via his FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. RVD and Hennig win 2-1.
- As a result, RVD and Hennig are the new EAWA Tag Team Champions!
- This is the 2nd EAWA Tag Team Championship for RVD who once also held the EAWA Tag Team Championship with Sabu.
- As a result, Curt Hennig- who in the past has also held both the EAWA Championship and the Brass Knuckles Championship- is the 2nd-ever wrestler after The Crusher to hold all 3 EAWA championships.

Match #9: Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas (accompanied by Francine) defeated Sandman in a Singapore cane match
- Despite Sandman being more proficient with the Singapore cane, Douglas won this match via his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX to retain the Brass Knuckles Championship.
Match #10: Nick Bockwinkel (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated EAWA Champion Ted DiBiase
- This match ended when Heenan smashed the back of DiBiase's left leg with a steel chair. Bockwinkel then took advantage by targeting that leg via his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to get the victory.
- As a result, Bockwinkel wins the EAWA Championship for his first time.

- The Armstrongs, who recently dropped the United States Tag Team Championship to the Fantastics, had some moments in this match but The Stranglers won when "Strangler" Ed Lewis put away Brad Armstrong via STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK.

Match #1: Magnum TA defeated Ivan Koloff, Gorgeous George, and Barbarian in a Vegas Traditional Opening 4-Way elimination match
- Magnum TA pinned Barbarian via BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX. Before his elimination, Barbarian was working well in tandem with Koloff in this match.
- George pinned Koloff via ROLLING HIPLOCK.
- Magnum TA pinned George via BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX.
Match #2: Boogie Woogie Man defeated Brian Christopher in a last man standing match
- This grudge match surprisingly turned into a match of the weekend candidate as both Boogie Woogie Man and Christoper repeatedly just beat the referee's 10 count to regain their feet to continue this match. This match ended when Boogie Woogie Man put Christopher in a sleeper followed by his BOOGIE WOOGIE ELBOW to put Christopher down for the count.
Match #3: Fit Finlay (accompanied by David Taylor) defeated Johnny Saint
- A good grudge match, Finlay won via his TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER.
Match #4: James Gang defeated Road Warriors
- This was the first match on Smackdown for the Road Warriors who this past week were selected from RAW by Smackdown in the Draft.
- As this match was getting started, Striker and Zbyszko said that the James Gang have entered the MLW Memorial Cup field of which the Road Warriors have also already entered.
The James Gang scored the surprising win when Kip James pinned Road Warrior Hawk via a running corner splash while getting away with grabbing the ropes for extra leverage.
- Afterward, while heading toward the back, the James Gang laughed hard at getting away with cheating to score the win as the crowd booed them loudly and Striker and Zbyszko remarked that it appears the James Gang have turned heel.
