The MLW Memorial Cup tournament has been epic. Good to see my pick of Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens advance to the next round. I'm also enjoying the ladies tournament. I can't wait to see how all of it plays out, not to mention your epic posting streak continuing.

Thank you cruefan68! I am hoping my daily fed posting streak continues tomorrow but tomorrow will be hectic as I will be in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas all on the same day.

- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko. Striker and Zbyszko say today's late afternoon session will focus upon the MGM Grand Bracket's Second Round matches

Match #1: Brass Knuckles Champion Shane Douglas (accompanied by Francine) and Diamond Dallas Page defeated The Crusher and Jackie Fargo in Second Round match

- A very good Second Round match, Douglas and DDP got the victory over the 2 time EAWA Tag Team Champions The Crusher and Fargo when Douglas pinned Fargo via BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX along with a handful of tights.

Match #2: Fabulous Kangaroos (managed by "Wild" Red Berry) defeated EAWA Tag Team Champions Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig in a Second Round match

- The Kangaroos defeated the current EAWA Tag Team Champions when Roy Heffernan pinned Hennig following BOOMERANG.

- As a result, since they are current champions who did not make the Elite Eight, RVD and Hennig will have to defend the EAWA Tag Team Championship on Day 4.

Match #3: Harley Race and Bruiser Brody defeated Sandman and Hardcore Hodge in a Second Round match

- Race and Brody won easily when Brody pinned Sandman via his JUMPING KNEE DROP.

Match #4: Road Warriors defeated Killer Bees in a Second Round match

- Although the Killer Bees came very close to eliminating the Road Warriors, the Road Warriors advanced to the Sweet Sixteen when Road Warrior Hawk pinned B. Brian Blair following the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.

- As a result, the Road Warriors will next take on the team of Race/Brody in the Sweet Sixteen!

Match #5: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeated Cactus Jack in a Special Attraction match

- A good match, Steamboat won via an enziguri.

End of Day 2 late afternoon session.

- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko. Striker and Zbyszko say today's late afternoon session will focus on the Caesar Palace Bracket's Second Round matches

Match #1: United States Tag Team Champions Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey, both managed by Jim Cornette and accompanied by Mr. Hughes) defeated Blackjack Mulligan and King Kong Bundy in a Second Round match

- The Midnight Express advanced to the Sweet Sixteen when Eaton pinned Bundy after a slingshot suplex.

Match #2: Big Van Vader (managed by "Precious" Paul Ellering) and Kurt Angle defeated Harlem Heat in a Second Round match

- Vader and Angle moved on to the Sweet Sixteen when Vader pinned Booker T via his RELEASED POWER BOMB.

Match #3: EAWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens (both managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated The Stranglers in a Second Round match

- The Stranglers gave Bockwinkel and Stevens some problems but were eliminated when Bockinkel submitted "Strangler" Evan Lewis via BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER.

Match #4: VWF Chairman Bob Backlund and Frank Gotch defeated Ted DiBiase and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams in a Second Round match

- In the final Second Round match, Backlund and Gotch were the victors when Gotch tapped out Williams via the GOTCH TOEHOLD.

Match #5: Andre the Giant defeated Sgt. Slaughter in a Special Attraction match

- Andre the Giant won this match via his BIG SPLASH.
