Really enjoyed that episode of raw. As always the build to the PPV is an exciting read.
The bash should be awesome.

The MVC have the right idea... There's a limit to what can be accomplished when you're essentially hired thugs for the boss... Should be interesting to see if DiBiase can keep them in line at War Games... Exciting stuff!

Another excellent show and as usual you are the master at building up to the major events. I like the tension around Ted Dibiase and the MVC and it will be interesting to see what happens after the Great American Bash regarding those three. That lineup for the GAB is off the charts, especially War Games. Can't wait for the big event.

RAW just 2 days before the Great American Bash!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #28 July 2, Year 1
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Lenny Lane and "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty defeated Redd Dogg, Scott Taylor, Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle,) "Cowboy" Scott Casey, and Frank Dalton
- this 7 way match was to determine the final two participants in the Vegas traditional 4 way elimination opening match at the Great American Bash with those spots being awarded to the first two wrestlers scoring pinfalls in this match.
- Lane put away Redd Dogg via MEMORY LANE. During this match, Redd Dogg and his tag team partner Scott Taylor continued having chemistry issues.
- Jannetty pinned Dalton via a dropkick.
- as a result, Lane and Jannetty win the final two spots in the opening 4 way elimination match at the Great American Bash
Backstage: The Buffet Club (Sinn Bodhi and the Blue Meanie) are eating at catering when the Sheepherders bump into them and an argument ensues. The Sheepherders then pretend to leave only to jump the Buffet Club from behind and then force food down their throats!
Match #2: Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, and Shawn Daivari defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan, "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, and Ron Hutchinson
- just days before Duggan and Danielson take on the Iron Sheik and Volkoff in a flag match at the Great American Bash, the Iron Sheik, Volkoff, and Daivari won this matchup when Volkoff got away with nailing the Russian flag into Duggan's throat and the Iron Sheik then made Duggan tap out to the CAMEL CLUTCH.
DiBiase's Office: VWF Chairman of the Board and VWF Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase again tells the Miracle Violence Connection no they will not be receiving any automatic title shots at his VWF Championship despite Terry Gordy winning last month's Bunkhouse Stampede and the recent singles victories of Gordy over Buddy Rogers and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams over Lou Thesz.
- DiBiase says the next PPV will be Money in the Bank with two ladder matches- one involving former VWF Champions, former MLW Champions, and former World Champions with the winner receiving the VWF Championship match at Summerslam. DiBiase says the other ladder match at Money in the Bank will involve wrestlers who never held any top singles championship and he is willing to put both Gordy and Williams in that match-but if they want a VWF Championship match then they need to earn it. MVC, who are teaming with DiBiase in the War Games match in just two days at the Great American Bash- leave visibly upset.
Backstage: Johnny Valentine, set to make his VWF debut in the War Games match at the Great American Bash, approaches Buddy Rogers who Valentine is teaming with (along with Lou Thesz, RVD, and Curt Hennig) agaisnt DiBiase's team.
- Rogers tells Valentine it is great to see him again and invites him to ringside tonight for his match in the main event
- Valentine, who was the only wrestler with Rogers in every incarnation of the Four Horsemen during their time in Major League Wrestling (MLW,) says no and asks Rogers why are they teaming up with a guy like Thesz when instead they should be forming a new version of the Four Horsemen in the VWF. Rogers, before walking away, tells Valentine the Horsemen are over but he is glad to be teaming up with him one more time at the Great American Bash.
Match #3: United States Champion Bobo Brazil defeated Diamond Dallas Page in a non-title match
- for this match, Trish Stratus, Brazil's challenger in 2 days at the Great American Bash, provided guest commentary
- before the match started, DDP said at the Great American Bash he is going to prove to his former tag team partner Randy Savage who the true weak link on their VWF Tag Team Championship team was but tonight he is going to defeat Brazil and earn a United States Championship match after the Great American Bash.
- Brazil won this match after 2 straight COCO BUTTS.
- on his way back to the back as he passed the commentary table, Brazil received a fist bump from Stratus- his tag team partner in the recent MLW Memorial Cup and his challenger this week at the Great American Bash

I cannot imaging that taking the pin will sit well with Thesz. Certainly adds some drama to the Bash.

Did Rogers intentionally allow Thesz to eat that Avalanche by Bundy? And even if he didn't... Would Thesz believe him?
Awesome episode of RAW to carry us into the Bash!

Did Rogers intentionally allow Thesz to eat that Avalanche by Bundy? And even if he didn't... Would Thesz believe him? Awesome episode of RAW to carry us into the Bash! there is that Avalanche along with Johnny Valentine showing up and suggesting Rogers dump Thesz to reform the Horsemen with him, then on the other side three is the MVC's clear dissatisfaction with DiBiase, so either sides or both (or perhaps neither ) could implode in the War Games match on the next show the Great American Bash
